It's like a manual for Plaits for anyone who does not own it yet and is thinking about buying it or not. Totally will buy it now... Thank you for creating and sharing this jam!!! Well explained!
I was tempted to give you a thumbs down just so you’d check and OBVIOUSLY notice that each and every single one of your videos all deserve at least 17+THUMBS UPS!!! Awesome sounds! Awesome music! And phenomenal creativity!!! PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
I cant choose ifbi want to get plaits or braids and its driving me crazy. I like that braids has conteol over sample rate but i love that plaits has a lpg. Such a hard choice. Very good video as always thank you!
Ihor ACE as always this modular with OT or DIgitakt /Tone has infinite permutations mind boggling really Got Pallette case due soon so can 1U stereo outs go direct into Pedals ie Big Sky /guitar pedals is signal ok??? Thanks my friend for your tutorials 🆒🎶🎶🎶🎶🌈🌟
Thanks Martin! I appreciate your kind words. Regarding signal from stereo outs it should be fine. I plug them into ZOIA (which is a guitar pedal) and it works good. + you have a knob to control the signal power 😉
From my experience, don’t buy anything new before you have mastered what you already have. I have a digitakt, minilogue xd and Push 2 for over 6 months, and still learning. Can’t even imagine how guys like Ihor learn all this so fast.
@@ronsone8373 if you are using a daw get a midi controller like arturira micro lab, it comes with hundreds of presets. Without a synth any track feels like it’s not full. If you are not using any daw, buy hardware synt. I am not a pro, just sharing my experience
Can I do this with a Digitakt I wonder? Nice job with the octatrack. I just bought plaits and am building my modular setup. Have thought about sequencing using the Digitakt and also sampling but don’t know it well enough to use it as well as you use the octatrack. Very impressed so I just subscribed.
Thanks for kind words! In this video I was recording loops into the Octatrack that are "quanitized" to exactly 4 bars. Basically looping. You can't really do this on the Digitakt. What you can do though is to sample one shots and then sequence them on the Digitakt. That is what Digitakt about.
Great video as always Ihor. Thanks for doing them. There's an alternative firmware for Plaits which turns the Aux out into a crossfade out. Might save you some HP. - forum.mutable-instruments.net/t/plaits-with-frequency-locking-and-aux-crossfade-alt-firmware/17340
