Great work, tfs. Food for thought.... You might think about putting the feet up from the beginning because sometimes it creates more pressure on the legs when they are hanging, and if a client has any leg or knee issues it will be very uncomfortable.
Yes totally agree that this position isn't suitable for every client. Communication is always key in to ensure that both the client and we, as techs, can be comfortable. Thanks for watching!
WOW! I feel relaxed and inspired after watching this. The details you provide as well as the timestamps really allowed me to study each step and review as needed. Your client must indeed be completely blissed our after that level of pampering and care and you left her toenails transformed. Feet are typically much abused and neglected and attending to their care is critical for a healthy body, so thanks a million for sharing this. Also, I'm a Dazzle Dry convert and the system really is worth it.
This is so good! Couple questions…. 1. Is this your typical/basic pedicure without any add ons and how long do you schedule for this particular service? 2. Do you spray callus softener on the feet too before you efile? 3. Why polish before the scrub exfoliating foamy stuff? It’s nice that you end the service with them in a relaxed state but I wasn’t sure if there was another reason. I want to throw all my polish away and get the dazzle dry now!!
Thank you! 1. This is my most fancy pedicure. My basic pedicure is everything in this video up until polish. Polish is an add-on and the scrub and hot towels are the fun part of my spa pedicure. The entire service in this video, I book out for an hour and 15 minutes. 2. Sometimes. I never use softener before using a sandcap, but I'll use it sometimes with a diamond bit or Angelfeet File. On this client, I used callus softener after using my sandcap and before the diamond bit at 18:37 3. I scrub after polish because the Dazzle Dry dries in 5 minutes! This way I'm sure the polish is being applied to a clean nail plate with no oils left behind. While it dries, I check my client out and get them prebooked, and then we can go on to the fun stuff and let them leave wanting more 😀 Thanks for you watching and your great questions!
Go for it! Advanced education is worth the investment for sure. If you're in the states, I'll be at Nail Tech Event of the Smokies this coming weekend and teaching a class on that Sunday. I'll also be teaching at Nail Camp in November. Both great events with lots of education, as well!
Thank you! You can purchase the scrub from Gehwol. Use code 'healthtobeauty' for 15% off your first order 😉 www.gehwolfootcare.com/product/soft-feet-scrub/
Glad it's helpful! My e-file has the vacuum built in rather than as an attachment. The one I have isn't available anymore, but you can find the most upgraded model at rotatool.com. I always have it up at the highest setting, and I find it pretty powerful for how quiet it is. It won't get every spec of dust, but it's cuts down tremendously!
hello there! I loved this video its so helpful! I was curious what grit the sanding cap was? should I have various grits? for example if someone has little to no callus, should I be using a softer grit like 180-240 and vice versa if someone has a lot more callus should I use something around 150? thank you!! I'm trying to implement dry pedis very soon and I am trying to see the best procedure to use. :)))
Thank you!! Another questionn 😅❤️. How did you decide on using sand caps? i’ve been so undecided on using the footlogix file vs. sand caps vs. podo disks vs Erica’s pedi bit. Have sanding caps just been the easiest/more familiar way to you? I’m just a bit lost. Thank you again!
This is the model: www.dirsalonfurniture.com/medical-spa-equipment/medical-spa-bed-chair/pavo-rotating-electric-medical-spa-treatment-table-chair?fbclid=IwAR3-H7hZGg63fhEtBmv77Pj5YImP_F7Uz8h63O2rBH_MLbqabQ3BKksq3AA I got mine lightly used from a local tattoo shop and was able to score a deal that way! If you're not in a rush, definitely scour craigslist and facebook marketplace.
This was with a gopro on a head mount. I'm using something different now because I couldn't get as high quality as I wanted with the gopro, but it's great for hands free filming!
@@estefanisantana4381 this is the mount I use now. I clamp it to my pedicure cart and film with my phone. Use code 'healthtobeauty' for 20% off! www.arkon.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?&Store_Code=arkon&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=DSLRTABMG5-dslr-camera-tablet-phone-stand
