I currently am testing the tf40 18x20 next to the solinco white out 18x20 and do far they have a huge amount of similarities. The string bed is exactly the same, beam width also, both foam filled. Beam shapes are a little bit different though with the solinco being a little bit wider higher up in the hoop and the tf40 slightly pear shaped. Expensive testing side to side very soon

Hey I know this video was posted a few months ago but was wondering what your opinion would be on my situation. I play with head prestige the youtek model and love the racket and the swing weight I’m an 11.5 utr and recently got the chance to accept a sponsorship with tecnifibre. the only thing is lol I love my rackets and I love the control so I was originally planning on getting the t fight 305 iso but after this video I’m thinking I might like the control one instead I need the mains to be 18 because it just feels better for me and I have golfers elbow from a lot of tennis and use soft strings. I strung my rackets with luxilon element on the mains at 48 and technifibre tgv at 50 for the cross. Anywho after this long message the point I was trying to get to is what do you recommend I get for the sponser I’m allowed a few rackets I think so I’m really trying to see what would fit best for what I like already.

I think you should go for the TF40 18x20 in either the 305 or 315. It will be an easy transition and you'll get a bit more modern playability with fantastic feel and tons of comfort.

TF40 305 16x19 was a nice racquet for me. I could easily switch but it didn't feel like an upgrade from my VCore 95. But then I tried the ISO305 and it was a game changer. It's like a controlled Ezone 98, one where random shots don't sail long. I immediately bought an ISO305 but have since realized I'm not manly enough to use it for more than 30 mins. Tecnifibre is really screwing up big time. The ISO 300/315s are launchy and too wild and the 305 has a SW too high for 99% of rec players. I honestly think they could have a best seller if they brought the SW down 10 pts.
@RacketsRunnersVancouver
@RacketsRunnersVancouver 10 месяцев назад
Agreed, but I do think part of its magic is that high SW because it helps it pack that punch.

I really like the feel of my Tecnifibre T-Fight 300 RS. It feels nice and solid on contact and volleys well, compared to my Ezone 100 which just feels hollow and vibey. Curious how something like a Blade 100 compared to the T-Fight, and what else might out there with similar feel.

A friend lent me his TF40 305 with 10 grams of lead tape distributed in the handle and tip. I was blown away. Something about the foam and extremely muted feeling was immediately addictive to me. I'm 6'4 and use a pretty eastern grip with a very early contact point, so I've always had more power than I can easily control. I've used ultra conservative control frames because of that, and settled with the Pro Staff for many years. But with this racket, all of a sudden I had such good feel that I just wanted to RIP it. By slightly adjusting my grip to be just a little bit more western, I started to realize I could let loose entirely. It felt like I had a freaking cannon, but I could finally control it. I haven't had so much fun in years.

Nice review, I am a recreational player, having elbow tendonitis, so planning to change to arm arm-friendly and a bit lightweight racquet(< 290gm), with a low flex rate, I read TF285RS or T--fight 270 ISO, which is a good for arm-friendly, but RA value is 70, and most of them suggest Wilson Clash v2 100L (RA-57) but I didn't feel much comfortable with it and so is Blade v8 100L (RA-68) or Wilson Pro97UL a good choicer than Wilson Clash? I also used to play with ezone98L, Please suggest one...

We don't carry the T-Fits, unfortunately.

Hi could you help me with racquet choice cause I desperately need a new racquet as I’m using a Pro Staff team 2018 that is way too light for me and Tourney season where I live is starting soon. I play aggressively and flat I am trying to add more spin at the moment to reduce errors. I use a lot of slice especially on my backhand. I have a powerful serve that is flat but once again I’m trying to gradually add a bit of spin. I’m not a serve volley player but I do like to go by that style on certain points due to my serve often making my opponent hit back a poor return then I try finish my the point quickly. If I can’t finish it quickly I play from baseline until I put the opponent in a difficult position before aggressively finishing the point when I get the chance. I have quite a large swing which uses a good chunk of energy, so I do get tired towards end of matches so I know some racquets don’t do you many favours if you’re tired. ( obviously I can work on my endurance) Out of the following head racquets ( and maybe others that I haven’t thought of) which 2 or 3 would you say would suit me best. Head radical Head Boom Head Extreme Head Speed Thanks for the help 😁

I think the Extreme would be a really good one to give a shot. It's not too heavy so you won't get tired quickly and it will help you to add the spin you're looking for without sacrificing too much flat control.

@@RacketsRunnersVancouver I think I’ll try the extreme and maybe the boom ? Would you see the boom as a viable option for me. I know you highly rate it…

@@Turbulencemode It definitely is but because it's so unique I usually don't recommend it, but absolutely worth a shot.

@@RacketsRunnersVancouver and looking at a different line, the Vcore I’m torn between the 98 and 100…. Same with Ezone and Aero. The 98 vs 100 battle is something I can’t get my head around 😅

@@Turbulencemode 98 for great players. 100' for intermidiate players.

Definitely nice racquets the only thing I don't like are the rectangular handle shape

Just buy a size up, or put a leather grip o.m.

Thx bro for the video. I am always confused with their naming system, especially the T-Fight and TF 😂😂😂

I have a 2019 TF40 18x20 and it's a pretty good racquet. It oddly has more power and a higher launch angle that I would have expected from this type of racquet. The feel is odd, but nice, and definitely has good control. It's not my main racquet, but it's a pretty good "do it all" racquet. I might test less powerful strings to see if I can tame the extra power the racquet provides.

What is your main racquet?

@@KarmaticEvolution A 6th gen Vcore 95. Although I recently customized the TF40 and am liking it more. Added 6 grams between 3 and 9, and like 10 grams on the handle.
