Matt Jones serial killers enjoy the feeling they get of killing someone , it’s like a high.. that’s why some may have progression in their killings because if the one way they killed has stopped giving the feeling they want , then they will escalate to something worse in order to get it . he didn’t have to necessarily enjoy killing the women , but enjoyed the feeling it gave him . it’s a thing , it makes no sense but it’s real . in one of his videos he mentioned porn and thats where it started .. his addiction to that & that feeling & when porn wasn’t doing enough , he progressed to something else . their are killers who experience guilt & disgust on what they did , but they were addicted to the feeling it gave of the acts they committed .

It is one of tactical approuches that psychologists use, it is like trying to get to make the target relate in a friendly way with the interviewer, so in that way, the psychologist will make his subcousious be in off guard and don't imediatelly think that the interviewer is one kind of threat, making this, he can slip some information. It worked masterfully with Chris Watts, the guy who killed his pregnant wife and their 2 daughters.

Truly one of the most sinister beings to exist. Oh how ignorant you are. There are so many of these type of people throughout human history. Ted is merely one man in a sea of men and women that are and were just as evil. As nasty as Ted was I can assure you there were much worse. Ted would have made a terrific medieval torturer back in the day.
@celeste970
@celeste970 3 года назад
I feel as though I have studied this man for quite some while, watching movies about him, reading up on his cases, his upbringing. There was an incident where when he was young and at camp, he set a tiger trap and covered it with leaves and a little girl walked into it. Ted discovered he was illegitimate by his cousin who took him up to the attic and showed his birth certificate. He was also led to believe that his mother Louise was actually his sister. It was also known that his grandfather was a racist drunk and would stash violent porn around the house and Ted got into them when he was young. There could be a possibility that he was sexually abused by his grandfather. Years later, he began doing petty crime like stealing and looking into his neighbors windows to see girls changing. He’s find more porn from people’s trash cans and continued to steal. I guess he liked the feeling that getting away with these things gave to him. Despite what Ted says about having friends, old school companions of his say that he was more quiet and didn’t have many friends and that his grades weren’t always the best. In college he met his girlfriend Susan. Her family was wealthy and was smart, Ted also hated his stepfather Jhonnie Bundy because he was middle class. Ted would fail his classes and his girlfriend Susan broke things off with him because he had no “ambition”. Years pass, he’s studying to be a lawyer while still stealing. He meets Liz who also comes from a somewhat wealthy family. Ted loves that and he becomes somewhat a step father for her daughter Molly. He would take her out to fancy dinners and buy steaks and wine. He loved showing off what he didn’t have; money. His career as a law student was failing and stealing wasn’t giving him enough pleasure anymore. When Liz found some plaster of Paris in Ted’s apartment and she called him a “thief” he grabbed her arm harshly and said “if you ever tell anyone about this I’m going to break your fucking neck”. Liz started having her suspicions about Ted being the possible murderer after the Lake Sammamish murders. Anyway, my theory is since all his life he was lied, manipulated and used, he wanted to have one thing that went well for him, that actually worked. He wanted to be a lawyer but would fail his exams and he would cry about this to Liz. Ted never really had much and he always talked about when he’ll be a famous lawyer and be rich. I guess what he really ever wanted was to be in the spotlight, he enjoyed the attention and the rush it gave him. So he began to kill after he realized that stealing TV sets and skis just wasn’t cutting it for him anymore. He maintained this clean cut persona and went out to kill and came back as if nothing. He said Janice Ott was still alive when he kidnapped Denise Naslund and forced one to watch as he killed the other. He loved the possession and the power he had. I feel like he escalated from killing one person every other day/week/month to two in a day because it gave him an even bigger rush. Liz saw this “devil” in him one day when they went rafting, she was sitting at the edge of the raft she got for him when out of nowhere Ted lunged at her and knocked her into the cold water. She said that when she came back up their eyes locked and he looked like he “wasn’t really there” there was a blank expression in his face and he looked at her as if she was a stranger. When she scolded him, he looked away and said “it wasn’t that serious, can’t you take a joke?” Also, Ted had gone to Lake Sammamish for the first time a week before the murders happened, my guess he was scoping out the place and the woods to see where exactly he was going to take his victims. The day of the murders he knew Liz was going to a beach and he pestered her to tell him which beach to which she replied with a different beach. He knew he was going to kill at Lake Sammamish that day. A few days later after these murders, Liz called Ted and told him about the news and how witnesses saw a “smooth talker by the name of Ted asking young women for help to put a sailboat on top of his VW” and that she thought that the name “Ted” was going to be a “hot name for a while”. Apparently Ted found this amusing and replied, “Yeah, I guess it’s a good thing the guy didn’t ask for help with a rubber raft.” He would ask for “anymore news” about his crimes. Ted knew what he did was wrong but he did it anyway because of the gratification it gave him and the way killing and getting away with it for so long made him feel. He feels no remorse, him not wanting to talk about the murder of Kimberly was him having control, he knew that’s what people wanted but it’s like most serial killers that take things from their victims as “trophies”. This was Ted’s reward. Withholding information about something so many people wanted to know about. Ted was a psychopathic sociopath, one of the worst ones at that. At least Jeffrey Dahmer repented for the murders, Ted rejoiced in the fame and the pain he caused.

He had a botched kidnap attempt the same day Kim Leach went missing where he told a 14 year old girl he was with the fire department. I assume he either used that or the fake cop story he used before to get her to follow him to his car.

According to the film "No Man of God" Bundy's whole angle in this interview was to get the influential Reverend to intervene with the Governor of Florida to stay the execution, which at this point was only a day away. Bundy used this same tag line (e.g., I can't really talk about that right now) whenever investigators pressed him about the details of his crimes. Bundy would admit to strangling/bludgeoning a victim or visiting the corpse multiple times, but in terms of the extent of his depravity, he remained silent. The only person that Bundy would discuss those details with was FBI criminal profiler Bill Hagmaier, but Hagmaier states he will never divulge those details to the public.

So that look Ted gave the interviewer was actually a look of “deceit.” Ted, midway looking up at him, was checking him, to see if he was watching his reaction. He was puttin on a show basically. And pretty much the reason why Ted portrays himself to seem more reflective and calm here is his last attempt to manipulate to get out of being executed. That’s very typical of sociopaths and calculating psychopaths. In their minds they believe they can win any game they play bc they are so devoid of empathy and devoid of the fear of failure. This is why he ended up representing himself. He’s a narcissist. In his mind he believed he could win. He also spoke about “Faith” bc he wanted people to think he has good in him. He was playing the guy, it’s just typical behavior.

My BELIEF, (not saying I'm right. I very well could be wrong) he saw this interview as his last hope of trying to get some sort of stay of execution. His other remedies were exhausted and he knew it. So as a desperate attempt, he thought he could get Dr. Dobson to talk to the Governor for him. But even Ted knew by elaborating anything on his rape and murder of a 12 year old, would only hurt his chances. He'd have gladly elaborated had it been any of the adults being asked about. But to say anything about Kimberly leach would have been a nail in his coffin. And he knew that. It's why he didn't want to talk about that one specifically. But at same time, how he made like it was too painful for him to discuss. Which of course we know now it wouldn't have mattered one way or the other. Just a theory of mine, most of the time death row inmates sit there for a good 15-20 years before being executed. Him he was only there for about 8 or 9 years. I think a good bit of what speeded his up, was due to all those interviews he was giving trying to buy himself time confessing to the ones they didn't know about. Him thinking it would work to his favor. When in all actuality, they were like "omg we knew he was a monster, but we didn't know he was THAT MUCH of a monster." Therefore causing them to realize it's time for Bundy to go ASAP. I could be wrong, but I kinda believe had he just shut up while he was still ahead, he would have maybe been sitting there a little bit longer. Not saying he'd still be alive by now, just saying I don't think he would have been executed when he actually was otherwise. Again I could be wrong about that.

He didn’t want to talk about her. Because, Kimberly was the only reason he got the death penalty! He was given life without possibility of parole. During his first trial in Florida. But, they had not yet revealed that Kimberly’s body was actually found during his first trial. Because, they knew that he could be tried for her murder alone, and that Kimberly Leach would once and for all finally deliver Ted Bundy to the executioner! Poor little girl didn’t have much of a voice when she was alive. But, she screamed death to Bundy from her grave!

you may find it weird but these people live for those moments when they are killed because they are cowards to do it themselves

@@carlosbanegas3693 oh yes, but Bundy wasn’t that type, bundy liked his control, bundy liked how little his victims could do, and in the end, he was strapped to a chair, with no control over anything

@@carlosbanegas3693 No, Bundy was actually scared to die. He was said to be as white as a ghost and he needed to help to even get to the chair. He liked power but he didn't like being powerless.

I always wish they would ask childmurderers about their own children,or nieces/nephews, "how would you feel if someone did the same thing to your own daughter/son that you did to this little child"? "Would you forgive that murderer/raper because you'd know exactly how much he needed to kill/rape a child that moment"? "Would you think he'd need to go to prison at all"?
