Because their was two women in his life that he had a relationship with 1 was like his long time girlfriend and then some other women who was obsessed with him and she was in the prison where she and Ted Bundy did it and that's how she got pregnant. I think he paid the guards to let them have sex behind a vending machine or something.

Idk how as a reporter she got that information wrong. There's a plethora of documentaries and article explaining exactly how he escaped from a Colorado *COURTHOUSE LIBRARY and NOT prison.

Been a few years since I researched it but from what I remember he escaped through the ceiling of his prison cell. Earlier he escaped by jumping out the second story window of a law library so this was his second escape.

@@milkweedlake we're both wrong. And we're talking about his LAST escape here in this video. His last escape wasn't in prison. He requested a change in venue to Colorado Springs, JAIL and NOT prison. Most of the staff were away for Christmas break. I had the escapes backwards, but I knew he wasn't in prison when it happened.

I doubt it. In my opinion, his appeals were done because he had such an overly-inflated sense of self-worth, not because he was scared of dying. He kept hiring and firing different lawyers, and also attempted to have himself declared mentally incompetent (he wasn't) so that the state legally couldn't execute him. He had appealed for over 10 years by the time that he was finally executed. He also kept confessing to more murders in an attempt to delay the process. (In between those times, he was also escaping from prison and killing more people). In my opinion, he just thought that he was too important to die; that's all. I do think that he finally accepted it once he was actually there, though. 😒 But in the grand scheme of things, I believe that he was afraid of dying. Other people who were executed, like Aileen Wuornos, accepted it. Bundy never did.

@@eloahnon4952 The only serial killer that I've ever felt sorry for, actually. Her life was so bad that she actually hired a lawyer specifically to make sure that she got the death penalty. 😩

@@Hollyucinogen Definitely, always felt for her. Her upbringing, her existence (it wasn't a life... she was doomed from the beginning) and the system. She wanted to die, her life was over from the moment she came into this world.
