I am still surprised how much media coverage they gave to Bundy for the Chi Omega trial and not for the Kimberly Leach trial. We never got to hear the full details of the Kimberly Leach trial sadly.
Maybe it was simply too gruesome and she was a child. Ted also seemed 'unproud' or unhappy to discuss this, one of his loathesome murders. I'm not unhappy that the Media didn't turn brighter spotlights on this although I find myself mulling over the lack of attention in those opening hours of the kidnapping and crime. The police located witnesses but too few to help poor Kimberly. I think we're lucky that Carol was able to attract lifesaving attention.
After Millard Farmer (not licensed to practice law in Florida) was denied as Bundy’s defender, Ted took the snub out on his court appointed attorneys. His constant disruptions doomed his defense, and any chance he had for victory traveled north to Georgia with Farmer.
