I also played it safe by predicting Joshua on points, on the proviso that Ngannou would fight similarly to how he did against Fury and that Joshua wouldn't take many risks, given that he absolutely had to win. But I'm not at all surprised that Joshua blasted him out so early; after all, he is a good puncher and when he lands clean, it's usually goodnight. Against Usyk, it was hard to nail him flush (Usyk is so slippery) and in the Ruiz rematch, Joshua was afraid of counters so didn't sit down on his punches, content just to box. Joseph Parker is another one to handle the Joshua power. But fair play to Ngannou for giving it a go, he's got a nice payday too. Now, back to MMA 😆

Fortunately, AJ fought seriously and we had a picture of what a fight between a professional and an amateur looks like. I called it AJ weeks ago, why?Vastly superior Boxing skills but i always felt like there was way too many bandwagoners taking the easy route and jumping in for Francis.His chin was never really tested (Stipe tested his chin abit in their first fight)and Francis didn't look good, So AJ i felt would really hurt him(big time)and Francis felt reality, in fighting being big ,powerful, impressive looking is all great but its useless with out an equally important chin!

I just don't know about Joshua's mental toughness after seeing his reactions when beaten by Ruiz and especially after Usyk. I think when he gets hit by almost anyone, he loses it and if Ngannou taps him on the chin Joshua will freak out and then really get walloped. I think AJ is the better pure boxer, but he doesn't take losing too well. As soon as he feels Ngannou's raw power he will fold. If AJ can make him respect him early and lands some bombs first, then that changes things. Even Ngannou can be stopped. I think if Ngannou ever fights Fury again, he will be embarrassed and knocked out. I don't like Fury but an in shape and aware Fury is hard to deal with. Their first fight was a fluke because Fury didn't train well and he wasn't expecting Ngannou to box very well.
