We are also fortunate to live when a trainer and commentator like Teddy Atlas is around. I liked the prediction that Jason Moloney, who had fought Inoue (lost by KO 7), made before the fight where he said that for Fulton to win he would have to be perfect for every second of every round while Inoue had to be perfect for only one second.

Inoue is the most complete boxer in the world and even more dangerous than Pacman. He not only wins but dominates making great fighters look average. He brings a lot of excitement to boxing because of his speed and power, every punch is loud and surgical. There's no wasted motion. One mistake his opponent make can end the match in seconds. Any honest boxing fan who is not clouded by biasness or racism would appreciate Inoue because there will never be another boxer like him.
@markford3420
@markford3420 Год назад
I don't think it's racism more so that ol skool fight fans wanting to see him fight someone who is equally yoked. Fulton has no power. So Inoue didn't have to worry about heat coming back. Ol skool fans remember when fighters fought guys who had equal or more power and see how it plays out. Spence vs Crawford. Both guys were equally yoked. That's what makes Crawford's win so spectacular
@vh448
@vh448 Год назад
When you have to defend it, there's definitely racism. Inoue is famous so racism against him is not apparent but make no mistake it's there. People don't think Asians face racism but they do. It innately comes from pride I think.

@markford3420 Год назад
@@vh448 Sure. I think anyone who is not white face racism from whites. History tells you that. These days ppl heap a lot of praise on fighters before they've really have beaten top guys consistently or have even fought them. No doubt he's good. I just want to see it against an opponent who's equal or close to it. To see how great he is. Crawford greatness showed against Spence. P4P is not just about the wins stats. It should be how dominant are those wins. KO ratio should be the main criteria. Inoue has the highest KO percentage (90%), higher than Usyk and Crawford. This kind of KO ratio in the lower weights is unprecedented. He is a 4 weight divisions champion. He unified all 4 belts in the bantamweight by destroying all 4 champions to conquer those belts. Unlike Crawford, he only had to fight one guy to get 3 belts. Then he vacant all his belts and moved up division to take on the top dog who’s also a unified champion and Inoue took all of his belts without a sweat. Now, that’s impressive.

I think many people fail to mention about Naoya is the fact thst he keeps improving. The way he fights now is a lot different than his fights few years ago. Just looking back and compare his first fight vs donaire and his most recent Fulton fight. His defense is a lot more fruid, his head movement is so kuch better, he can set up "traps" better ( like he let Fulton come to him by backing up a bit, keep jabbing to the body to keep his mond occupied to the downstair while looking for a straight right to the head, etc), his placenrnt of punches are more accurate, etc. Pretty much in every fight, you can see his improvement compared to his previous fight. He even cane here in the states last year just to spar with many American fighters at Wildcard.. Its rare that an established fighter like hin still keep improving.

Apart from the skills and level of ability, that both Inoue and Crawford possess, that killer instinct is part of what separates them. If either man has you hurt, you're staying hurt... Both fighters have proven this, most of crawford's wins at welterweight have been stoppages. Age, size, or injury are the only things I can see stopping these two... In and around their respective weight classes, they are both faaaaaarrrr above the rest.

this is gonna sound silly but i wish we could temporarily alter their genetics to make them the same size (scale Inoue's body up to the same height and weight as Crawford without altering his proportions). For many of The Monster's opponents, it's all fun and games. They're sure they know his game plan, his tactics, speed, power, accuracy, offense and defense...and how to counter all of it... Then, one by one, Inoue's opponents are led to the slaughter, fed to The Monster, sacrificed to the ring gods, as it were... Just ask Stephen Fulton... Cause Fulton was a bum, who padded his record with easy fights. He is a limp wristed bum, who finally got exposed. I mean just about any pro boxer in that division could have put in the same or better performance as Fulton. He has no business fighting world class fighters

Yes. Inoue is a great fighter. Like Pacquiao, he was a flyweight champ. Now can anyone see him dominating the top featherweight, the top jr LW, knocking out a LW champ, knocking out the top jr. Welter? Or even jst going up vs Crawford, the welter champ?

Inoue keeps getting discredited, especially when it comes to his fight with Donnaire, but look at what Donaire did after the fight. He smoked everyone in the division. Also, what did he do in the rematch with Donaire.

Naoya inoue and Many pac absolutely the best number one pound for pound.He knocked Down more CHAMPION bigger,stronger than him in many different division and more than any pound for pound.He has too much power with his size,accuratecy and fast hand. Crawford is not the best pound for pound yet.Because he did not beat Jason ennis,Conor Benn and key therman call him out in the same division

Fulton only landed 4 effected shots the rest nothing monster threw alot that got deflected but fulton felt n tasted all of them, just cuz u block a hit dont mean u absorbed it all nope u take damage as well, how u think fulton lip statered bleeding in the 1st then his nose in the 2nd n spiting blood from 2nd on, he ate alot of his own hands for blocking

This was a weak ass attempt at a Floyd v Manny comparison. They’re nowhere near the same styles or levels of guys lol. It’s hilarious because Inoue fights a bit like Floyd mixed in with Donaire. Manny is not fundamentally sound at all

Let me explain something to casuals with all due respect to Inoue fans and Teddy a a pro commenting as such on this fighter. Bantamweight and Super Bantamweight has been the weight class of some of the most iconic fighters of the last 25 years. Naoya Inoue sadly is a victim of his times and inevitably a very big fish in a nearly dry pond. I looked at every relevant name in all of Bantamweight classes ... Im sorry. Im a bit annoyed to hear too much about a fella whos just the best in his class... Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Pintor, Zaragoza, Pac Man...All icons and would destroy this dude. Now note this, more than half the names i listed, fought as contemporaries and each other... all were champions ...This dude, couldn't be any of those legend's UBER driver.

😂😂😂😂 would've been like Mayweather and pac if it was fought 5 years earlier. The only thing that Fulton and Floyd have in common is the Philly shell. Don't even let that comparison leave your lips.

I think Teddy is right on if that fight happened a decade earlier. Mayweather avoided him earlier in his career.
@pandabear1576
@pandabear1576 Год назад
@@HiTuabwell that’s easy, the only major difference is both guys in 2009 are faster than in 2015. That means regardless Floyd is still the better boxer but his body has less miles so all his counters and work off the front foot in that 2015 fight has more sting on it in 2009. Manny was much more reckless with how he came forward than in 2015. He could’ve seen himself getting dropped in 2009.
