I imagine myself a lot as a dominant WWE wrestler and I imagined myself in a match at WrestleMania WITH THE UNDERTAKER, I still don't know which one I will imagine as the winner because the match is so intense
That was what was missing from WM40’s main event: Teddy Long wasn’t out there to tell everyone that the REAL Final Boss was going 1on1 with The Undertaker, playa!!! But I guess the classic gong was enough of an intro for the surprise run-in 😅🤷🏾♂️🤣
It's funny how people are like that. Like....Gilbert Gottfried. His stage rep was being vulgar, obnoxious, obscene, and just a jerk. But I met him when he was doing a comedy show and stayed at the hotel I was working at, he spoke in his normal voice and was just the sweetest guy to talk to.
Kane is the best example of that that Dude literally was Michael Myers and Jason Vorhooes combined from 97 to 2001, a MONSTER but the nicest guy in the entire roster they have been at least 40-50 interviews asking WWE superstars how Kane was like and they all said nicest guy they ever met and the same thing goes for Undertaker
That explains why he always summoned The Undertaker for guys who were the Heels 😂. Being a wrestling fam during the Teddy Long era was fun. Goated GM & Goated Wrestling Legend‼️
since his retirement hit truly seems like taker is the best guy. its funny him and kane played the most evil guys yet thwy seem to be the nicest most levelheaded
@vio2112 seriously what actor commits 30 years to playing a single character? That's shit that only happens in wrestling guys like Undertaker and Sting and Ric Flair who has retired only to reprise his role at local pizzarias.
well according to Nash, he almost went back to WCW in 1999 as Vince didn't want him to do the american bad ass character but Vince gave in when he said he wasn't going to sign a new contract Nash said something about him coming in and taking out the NWO.
The Undertaker is a true leader. He did what any leader should do: Inspire talent to be better. To learn from their mistakes. Because even Taker made his own set of mistakes. You have to own up to them. That's definitely one way to inspire confidence in wrestlers. To realize that even the best of them all aren't perfect, but they still did their best no matter what.
I started properly watching every week during the Ruthless Aggression era (wasn't allowed to watch it when I was younger but would still sneak the occasional episode), and goddamn, I miss Teddy Long. His voice is about as nostalgic as JR and King to me
Mark is an absolute Legend here in Houston Texas I've met him so many times gotten pictures autographs everything I love that dude he is such a good genuine human
That's how you know a wrestler has achieved legendary status. When they get to the building, I bet a lot of guys that have been around awhile feel that they don't need to sit by ringside because they think they already know everything. Or because they aren't involved in the segment being rehearsed. But when you have a guy like Taker who sits out there before every show to offer advice to the young guys, it's no wonder he became the locker room leader.
Undertaker is my G.O.A.T. He is a perfect representation of what wrestling is and should be. Hell of a man, will help anyone and never put himself above anyone else. Incredible entertainer and even a better human being.
Teddy long and the undertaker duo is priceless to watch. The amount of respect theses guys have together and talent amongst the two in this business was an honor to witness.
The fact that the undertaker takes time out of his day to help other talent develop their programs where other wrestlers would just walk by and not even care about the quality of the product. Goes to show you what kind of a massive legend the undertaker is. More veterans need to be as caring about the business as the undertaker.
*I actually want to check out the full intros the same reason I watched the edge one, because of their views on things are so deep and meaningful and people could take advice from them*
It's not farfetched to say that without The Undertaker, Wrestling wouldn't be where it is today-if even still around. Taker not only drove the business forward but held it together and had been one of the biggest most consistent draws of all time. With that and what he has done to give back to business and help young, up and comers, he may one of the most important people to ever be in the business.
Mark Henry said that Taker to time out to school him and set him right. When he first got into wrestling he was a bit arrogant but Taker got him right, the Big Show too.
If you think you are a big shot or talk bad about Smackdown, Teddy will force you to "fight" Undertaker, not only because Taker and Teddy's long history, but because Smackdown is his baby.
Tbf to the other wrestlers that business especially back then was brutal. Caring about the young blood is extra stress on a job as body breaking as this one. Just shows how much of a cool dude Undertaker is.
