100% convinced of this too. This is the exact same lyrical genius of Wonho's last track before he enlisted, "Don't regret" because in that you can switch up several verses with one another and it creates a whole conversation. It's so unique and genius and I literally love Mingi and the ability of KQ to foreshadow on a BTS level.

Same! Cyberpunk addresses the citizens of Strictland while Halazia is the formation of the 2nd black pirates aka Ateez, so I'm not surprised if Halazia is directly responding to Cyberpunk. Plus thematically there's a lot of similarities, like Cyberpunk is about being drowned in a silenced darkness, while Halazia about's shining light and giving hope. This is one of my currently working theories lol and even if it's all just a coincidence, I'm going to delude myself into thinking it is because the notion of having all these hidden hints scattered and connected across their discography is cool. Some examples I thought of: Cyberpunk: "I can't feel anything in this place, full of lies This is a frozen night whеre everyone is asleep I wanna feel alive (Ooh) Don't wanna stay in the dark (Ah)" Halazia: "I can’t feel what it’s like to be alive Even now, in this moment Color this infinitely cold world Be the light Oh Halazia" And Cyberpunk: "So, tell me, where do we go?" Halazia: Um, the little blue bird that’s lost its voice I can hear the whispers The beginnings of a deep echo The voice that will overturn the world"

@@TeddyGreyOS The whole album is amazing. I think they only do MVs for their title tracks. Which was Guerilla for this album. But this song live is another level :) If you could I would recommend The Leaders. There was also a Performance at KCON 2022 in Saudi Arabia pf this and other two songs. Amazing song.

But as a second, I'm gonna pick that #1 😘 (omg.. you're right.. the leaders, then sector 1) I had already said the leaders before anything else in another post, so I was at the next after that 😅 def the leaders first

The whole album is brilliant so I think they chose Guerrilla for the title track bc it fit their storyline the best. That being said, both Guerrilla and Cyberpunk landed on multiple end of year best of kpop lists (like MTV, NME or Teen Vogue). The other songs are fantastic too though, The Ring and New World live at the concerts are just insane.

Liked your reaction a lot, you look like me with every Ateez video I watch 🤣 I've never been into Kpop, but I stumbled across an Ateez video (Halazia) and felt completely in love. This was just a few months ago and their music, performance and personalities got me through a rough patch as my dad got seriously ill at just about the same time as I found Ateez. These guys are absolutely amazing. I usually only listen to music, I know the names of the groups /singers/songs I like and that's it (if it's a group I may not know individual names, even long time favorites). But with ateez something clicked and they made me fall in love with every aspect of the members. First time this happens to me and I'm 48!!! They are just magic! And they dance like there's no tomorrow!! Just... Perfection Cheers from Argentina

Teddy, i swear you should check out whole "The Movement ep.1" album from them, bc i think it's their best album so far... there's NO bad song. so on this album there are Guerrilla and Cyberpunk (that's prolly why Cyberpunk didn't get the MV, all of the budget was for Guerrilla), and also tracks like "The Ring", "Sector 1", "WDIG (Where Do I Go)" and "New World". the whole album has this futuristic theme and sound, but all of the tracks sound completely different from each other. i swear you will like it, ATEEZ's discography is so various with genres... my second ult group for a reason 😭

the answer is simple they can't make a music video for all they're songs they have to chose . in general KPOP artist drop way more music video than a occidental artist .can you imagine than SKZ drop almost 10 music video or special clip in 2022??? and it's because they came from one of the 3biggest agency in korea so they got all the money they want to do that . but ATEEZ are from a small agency so not many money but despite that they got 24 mv's in little bit more than 4 years so it's 6 mv's by years not bad for a small agency .

OMG I actually got to see them performing this live at the O2 Arena London last Wednesday and it was amazing. Mingi is my bias but honestly Yeosang totally bias wrecked me lol. The concert was fire from start to finish, but if I'm honest I preferred them at OVO Arena last year, as think the sound system was better and I think the OVO feels more personal than the O2. Was gutted they didn't add Halazia into their set, but just love Ateez so much. Love your reactions to Ateez as much as I'm loving your NF ones. Keep going Teddy your doing great xxx

This song was one of my favorites when the album came out. But after seeing it live in Madrid 2 days ago, I can easily say that I will remember it until I die. I really enjoy watching your reactions, and how much you appreciate the music. Cyberpunk, Halazia, and Utopia are my favorite songs by Ateez. But I have so many on my playlist and add new ones all the time. I love BTS, and Jimin will always be my #1bias , but Ateez is so good I can't stop listening to them. (Seonghwa and Wooyoung are #2 and #3 on the bias list!)

Cyberpunk was my fav off the Guerilla main track album. I saw it live & thank goodness my phone died just before, cause I would've thrown it! The choreo puts Magic Mike to shame. Check out the concert footage. Btw, this Seonghwa's fav song off the album also & he definitely feels himself during the choreo.

Also, it would be amazing if you did album reaction reviews for ateez 🙏 they have some inspirational/sad/softer songs, I'm not sure if you'll like, but I think you'll appreciate the lyrics, and I think you'll love some of their others, especially the world album! And most of their lyrics have double meanings where you can apply it to irl and to their lore, so it's all pretty cohesive and it's better to listen to them in order to get a better picture of their lore! If you do, the treasure series came out before the fever series, but to make sense more, they should be listened backwards. basically they have two dimensions. The A dimension starts with the fever series, then the treasure series. Then the world album explains the Z dimension and the halateez. The spin off album is a spin off from those dimensions and are from witness POV. We aren't sure if it's set in the Z dimension or if it's another one.
