All the time s I saw the Allman Brothers Brothers at a Warehouse, and had the opportunity to Experience the Greatest Slide Playa, Duane "Skydog" Allman, may he RIP, anyway, I have seen the man who took his place, Derek Trucks, has a Slide like Duane s, very Uplifting and Spiritual, jűs līstęn to "I Walk on Guilded Splinter s" or "Gravity" to hear that the Excellent playa, has been returned to us by the all, węll, you know what I mean, jűs sāyīn !😎✌😎!
Seriously, listening and watching TTB has always something soothing and energizing at the same time. I love everything they do, but then again, this is an especially great version of the song. Thank you so much for sharing and stay safe!
TTB is definately, by far, the best live music act touring today. All are top notch musicians. Susan has one of the most powerful, bluesy voices ever. Ive often wondered why the dont cover some Janis. And Derek, well no one does what he does. He gets sounds out of that SG that the rest of us can only marvel at. The music is sacred to him, you can see it as he plays. I never tire watching him play. There is a lot of TTB on You Tube and I watch a lot and have seen them in person many times. He is the best, hands down! This band and Govt Mule are my go to bands now that the ABB is done. Come back to west Michigan, it's been too long.🎸🎶
The ABB leaves a humongous hole to fill, but the TTB is an amazing and comforting legacy born also of the 💙 blues! God loves us and has blessed us,,,,the band and it's fans. The Brothers must have done something right.❤️😍🎸 Eat a Peach for Peace.
honestly, as good as Derek and Susan are, the rest of the band is no joke. Mike has an amazing voice, but is a songwriter on par with John Prine, and that is the highest praise I can give. Mark is a great voice in his own right, and jesus H....Alecia is a f-ing goddess with her powerful vocals- give her more spotlight please. Meanwhile, the fact that we got to listen to the likes of Kebbi, Ephraim. Liz, Tim, Oteil, Kofi- MY GOD KOFI (r.i.p. we miss you Kofi), JJ, Tyler, and now Isaac, .... this is the. Best. Band. Assembled in our era. Argue if you want, its a fool's errand.
I ❤ this...it will be my go-to when I need a few minutes to center myself and rejuvenate before carrying on ... I ❤ the Tedeschi Trucks band ... they are one I recommend to people frequently and always hear genuine heart felt thanks and comments like "this is real music" or "how is it possible I never heard them before" Susan is has a beautiful and powerful voice ...Derek is a master guitar 🎸 player ...their band includes incredibly talented people. If you are new to them you really want to check out the other available videos at their web site ♥ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ everything I've heard there
Man, I just have say that the back-up singer is an absolute BELTAR!!!!! Love her to bits! That being said, EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THIS BAND IS PHENOMINAL!!! AMAZING!!! The list can keep going and going. Thank you all for the beautiful music you make.
No doubt. Derek considers Kofi the greatest musician he’s ever played with. Can you imagine how many world class musicians he beat out to get that title!!!!
Yes yes! One of the best birthdays I’ve ever had was spent watching you guys from the front row at the glorious Ryman on this very day two years ago right before covid hit. Having your music has helped us all through these troubled times. Magical things you guys can do with the band“family”! 🙏🏽❤️
Derek doesn't get enough credit. Maybe. But he doesn't have to. His playing is so huge it speaks for itself. No one else has to. It's so awesome it completely replaces wishy-washy words. That's credit enough. Love him.
Wow 😊 I can’t express how much I know that my stumbling onto your FANTASTIC SUPER GROUP/BAND, after finally healing from the PROFOUND GRIEF I had endured after a sudden loss of my brother wasn’t without RECOGNIZING GOD’ HANDS IN ALL THINGS 🙏🙏🙏 Your beautiful song you penned after your HUGE loss , “ Soul Sweet Song “, FLOORED ME I was finally able to feel good about living and my guilt lifted 🙏🙏🙏 Hopefully I will find my way to what I know will be a life changing experience to see and feel you live😊 Saving for my chance, so please keep making music because it will take me a couple years to get to that front roll here in Colorado 😊 I will make it 🎶🎵🎼
As a former sound guy I’ll tell you a band this good is super easy to mix. Just turn the board on and walk away and enjoy the show with everyone else, no additional attention needed.
@@ArmyRob13 I'm not sure what your sound guy experience is, but I have 25 years of broadcast engineering experience. Maybe for a live event, and with everyone crushed up to the stage you get the full effect. But for a recording like this, the A1 sat through several practice sessions and run throughs. Just as a clue, solo volumes are set at a different level than accompaniment levels. And if you're unaware of when a solo is coming up, you'll pretty much miss the first couple of notes.
I love alot of music especially from the jam band scene but there isn't alot of music that touches my soul. This is an exception. The last 5 minutes is just incredible. Saw it live and I don't know how anyone could watch that and not be moved. Exceptional music by an ensemble of extremely talented and professional musicians across the board.
This musical 🎶 genius and everyone who has ever played in the INCREDIBLE BAND ARE SUBURB MUSICIANS!!! Derek is the absolute GOAT!!! I love & have been blessed to live with many greats🙏this genius is far out in front IMO of the rest of MANY GREAT ELECTRIC GUITARISTS!!! His picking hand I can’t imagine how many hours this man has PERFECTED HIS GIFT, he is the most unique player out there, and NO OTHERS SOUND LIKE HIM, I AM only saying this from my soul & opinions we Americans still have rights to express Thanks To EVERYONE WHO WORK SO HARD FOR ME YOU WHOEVER LOVES GREAT MUSIC 🎶 TO ENJOY THESE MUSICAL 🎶 MASTERPIECES 🙏🎶🙏🎶🙏🥰
I was here for this show. It was the best live performance I've ever heard. I just saw TTB in Nashville this past weekend at the Ryman. I thought this was the better show (although they both were insanely good). Please come back to Chattanooga soon. We love you...
I have probably 50+ bands that I am deeply into and hold near and dear, but TTB is at the top of that list. I just adore this group so much. See y'all at Red Rocks!
Get the allman brothers with derick and warren hayne on stage at once and of course in that day Susan was opening for the allman brothers what a great night 2003 riverbend cincinnati Ohio
I LOVE their sound. I am so thankful that they didn't follow some "trend". They grew up loving the same music I did. Delaney and Bonnie, Ike and Tina Turner, Joe Cocker with Mad Dogs and Englishmen. That FULL sound with all the harmonies and Horn Section and Organ and guitars. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've ever heard this Band do! Thanks for posting.
The longer they’re together the better they get. I’d bet they could stretch this song out to that epic ABBish 20+ minutes long. Really tight. Really good. Wow.
Soooo great. Thanks for putting new performance's out there, music really keeping me together with so many trying times in the world. We have 12 family and friends hanging on to tickets since 2020. We will have more as it gets closer to your Cincy show, last time you came through we had 15. 2 year's wait and well worth it! Also, great to see Derek and Susan on the Playing for Change band wagon. I've been confidently waiting wondering when you were going too. "WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS" AMAZING GUYS!
So first I watched a live performance by the Chili Peppers, and then this. As much as the RHCP are a great studio band, Anthony Keidis can’t sing outside of that studio, so the way they sound live is really subpar, vocally. Then I watch the TTB and see true talent- nobody in this band needs the studio to sound great. Truly impressive.
Thank you thank you thank you for making life worth living- for making music something I enjoy again! I love your spirit, Susan- Thank you for sticking with your music even when it didn't seem like the world agreed with you. And then you met your husband, and had kids... and it's hard to even tell that all that happened. I look back on your earliest music videos and I'm just amazed that you look so young and vibrant. Keep on doing, keep on growing! Keep on writing those music lyrics in your notebook; I expect to see some original Susan Tedeschi songs soon! Great Blessings on you all! I don't think anyone's contribution is less than anothers-I just had to single out Susan especially in this comment. You ALL make a great band! I so wish I could see you live in concert- my body will not cooperate to get to Red Rocks anymore. So, Thank you also for the electrifying solo performances on this BEST version of 'Bound for Glory'!
When she sings "I ain't gettin' out of this bed" I think of my parents and that the last time I saw them alive they were lying in the beds they would die in...bound for glory.
TTB is amazing. Such top quality musicians all around. The horns, great voices, rhythm and, of course, Derek's guitar and Susan's incomparable vocals. Alecia Chakour's solo at 11:15 was fire and a nice surprise. Im not that fond of the keyboard solo section but other than that, what an amazing live performance.
