Tedeschi Trucks Band - "The Storm" - Mountain Jam 2014 

For my money...this is the best band on the planet.

My sort of crowd, heads bobbing , smiling faces and Derek Trucks playing guitar like the devil !

You cannot listen to this and not be affected on a deeper level. ...Music is a wonder of the world and beyond thought as well. How good is that? Oh my golden honey....

Derek Trucks could not be more authentic, brilliant and bold. Incredible vocals by Susan Tedeschi and just all-time fantastic groove laid down by the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The world is as cruel as it's ever been but this music makes me feel good to be alive. Rock on, Tedeschi Trucks Band!

God, I cannot wait to see this band live.

Derek is just slaying, as usual. So consistently brilliant. This guy is so inspiring to me... food for the soul.

If ancient redwoods could sing, they would sound like Susan Tedeschi. Eternal and earthy, deep roots soaked and nourished in wisdom. What a voice. Derek brings the tempest, all chaos and thunder, a ferocious force of nature that would uproot everything in its path if it could. They are perfectly balanced. *MUSIC IS NOT DEAD.*

Freaking awesome. I am 50 now, listened my entire life dancefloor, house, deephouse, funk, soul and jazz. AND SINCE an hour when I bumped into Tedeschi Trucks Band, I am also into Blues Rock which I found the weirdest music ever!!!!!! Fantastic performance, fantastic songs!!! Love them.

Trucks reminds me of an old jazz trumpet player, searching for that elusive note that may or may not be in that instrument. And if it's not in the instrument, it'll be in those magic fingertips of his.

Best guitarist on the planet - in my opinion. Derek is no technician as suggested below. There's heart and soul and integration of so many styles, and flourishing imagination in everything he plays. He is also architect of this bands exhilarating sound.

I've seen this Band MANY times and I'm ALWAYS blown away with the musicianship and even their interpretation of covers. What more can I say. It was once said and sung, "Long Live Rock" and "Hey, Hey, My, My, Rock And Roll Will Never Die" In my heart I know thats true. I just wish Rock hadn't taken such a strange left turn. I felt the same way and one day I heard Stevie Ray Vaughan back in the Summer of '83. Then I heard Mr. Trucks. Derek renewed my musical soul. I'm lookin forward to the next GREAT ONE. Anyway, love this Band, love this song. I recommend people here give Doyle Bramhall II a listen. Songs like, 'What You Gonna Do', 'So You Want It To Rain', 'Thin Dream', 'Jealous Sky', and live version(s) of 'Outside Women Blues', and 'Cry'.

Love Mr Trucks Tone and Phrasing. Certainly 1 of the best, ever . But , Hell look who the kid grew up with and how well he played at a young age. I know I'll get flack for saying this But , a certain kid named Joe , was an early protege who has a lot of respect for his playing today. And for my 3rd But , I can't take his guitar tone. There I said it. Could listen to Derek all day , 3 minutes of Joe , I'm done...just my ears . Good day to all !

Yes Derek is the man! TTB is one of the greatest bands ever assembled in rock history. I might liss some people off. They come to see Derek mostly. He never dissapoint His heart is to big he is so damn unselfish letting all of 11 people do Th ere thing as the Audience half hearing, I would guess, wait for Derek and that SG. I know he has played with the best Clapton being one. BTW when they do "Why does love got to be so sad, I think that's when he gave Derek his throne right there.
