Gotta say, Jack and Keeley were not that out there for me. However, I did agree with Rebecca. She was love bombing her hard and when the video came out, Jack blamed her for it more than anything. She quit the event Keeley really wanted to go to without consulting her and when meeting her friend, she introduced Keeley as her "friend", not her girlfriend(even after her big showing in Keeley's office that they were together). It's clear Keeley was losing confidence in her too throughout the episode, but just saying...

Jack talked a big game at first, acting like she didn’t care what people thought and was more interested in being with keeled than any appearance of impropriety, but it clearly has a limit; a rather hard and inflexible limit. Which, is fine, but that kind of thing is good to discuss up front.

Funny to think about Jack’s last name being Danvers. In Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, Mrs. Danvers always compares the main character to her idea of a perfect woman before blowing everything up.

There is something very real about how all the different friendships and relationships have developed over the three seasons. No fake drama, or anything like that. It's a real shame, to be sure, but the realism is spot on.

@@chrish5136 Their relationship kind of reminded me of Ibsen's "A Doll's House" in that Jack infantilizes Keeley, much like Torvald did with Nora. Then, when shit hits the fan, Jack chooses to blame Keeley instead of standing by her.

I’m not saying keeley is in the wrong here but she is a bit naive here. Cause I get that video was meant as something private but you can’t rely on privacy anymore when you sent explicit photos or videos through the internet. She damn well knows how much explicit shit on the internet gets leaked and if she really believed that shit was never gonna have a possible chance of getting leaked then I’m sorry but then she is just too naive. We all know what the internet is capable of and what it can cause in someone’s private life. So I am not saying she should be ashamed absolutely not but next time think more carefully before you send explicit things to someone through the internet there just are douchebags that will hack your phone and leak whatever private stuff you have all throughout the internet.

She and Roy were together for a year (I think Roy's niece Phoebe mentions it when they break up). And Keeley and Jamie are implied to have been together for a good while prior to their split in S1.

Well.. Keeley can do just fine... The writers however, have nothing better to do with her character than have her be a relationship wreck. For fs sake, the logic they used for her break up with Roy is that they were too busy to be together, but they not too busy to write a relationship arc with Jack for woke points. And at some point, I bet Roy will magically find time to be with the school teacher whole training Tartt at 4am still 🙄

She isn't. She sent a private video when she was in a relationship, for her boyfriend's eyes only. She deleted it from her phone, and Jamie deleted it from his devices after they broke up. There is no "inappropriate behavior" to accuse her of because nobody except her then-boyfriend was supposed to see that video, and it's not her fault some creep stole it and leaked it just for laughs. She has nothing to apologize for. It's like apologizing in front of everyone because some freak made photos of you walking around your house in your underwear and instead of blaming the freak people blame you for not being prepared for the intrusion into your private space.
