I feel like Jade might be the one to convince him to go back to Richmond. She seems really sweet and kind.

This scene hit me so hard! Nate's problem while at Richmond was his inferiority complex. His entire life, he's not only been treated inferior but also felt inferior. And that caused him to become a person who seeks approval and respect. So, when Ted arrived and showed him approval and respect right away, Nate didn't know how to handle it. It made him seek approval and respect out of someone who was already giving him those two things. He put Ted up on a pedestal. And once he did that, the only thing Ted could do was fail. Bringing us back around to this scene, where Jade tells Nate he should enjoy his victories. People with inferiority complexes care less about winning than they do about "not losing". So victories mean nothing, so long as they avoid the humiliation of defeat. I'm rooting so hard for Nate. Even more than I did for Jamie before his redemption arc. Because Nate's story is actually very realistic. And the people who hate him so much, and say they can never forgive him, should probably think a little bit about the people who actually suffer from his issues. Because they need help more than they deserve to be hated. In a world where we put famous people on pedestals, especially because of their appearances or talents, instead we should focus on caring for those suffering from self-destructive internal conflicts and personality disorders.

Nate, please don't mess this up man, please. You're on the way back.

I love Jade, I know ppl have mixed feelings bc she's "there for nates redemption" but she doesn't ACTUALLY tell him anything about how to feel and he has trouble reading her when for the audience it is very clear. Like for us her emotions and thoughts are so present on her face, but bc its not in words nate doesn't really get it (which she knows too) so she never tells him how to feel or what to think or even validate him the way he wants from the world and his dad, she just cares about him and makes him happy and that was enough for him to figure it out on his own. Ted Lasso is all about helping one another and she does it by just being a friend (and girlfriend but friend is the root of that)

I like Nate so much with Jade.

Something at the end of the show is going to come out about Jade in a good way, like she is secretly really very, very rich or something that will really benefit her and Nate's relationship and future.

I know Ted Lasso community is meant to be supportive and loving and caring... but Jade is such an incredibly bleak character. Writers did her dirty. She is so one dimentional it hurts to watch. She is a plot device, nothing more :(
