Garrett enters stealth mode when he crouches. Bull. Shit. Garrett is the master thief. He doesn't need to enter stealth mode. HE IS ALWAYS IN STEALTH MODE. Fuck this game.
Agreed. A game this bad had to be done on purpose. Seriously, who could conceivably write a line like "I'm not a big fan of doors," without being acutely self aware? The answer is Eidos. They've reached a new level of incompetence.
They had ONE JOB. Quite literally they could've copied everything from The Metal Age or even Deadly Shadows, made a remake following only that, and everyone across the board would be loving it till the next Teef.
You absolutely nailed it. "Thief is every bit as bad as Human Revolution is good." Yep. Eidos Montreal have botched this reboot big time. They took the series in the safest direction. No risks, no love, zero creativity, They've sullied their reputation.
Its biggest offense was not being a Thief game in general. "Taffer" was mentioned at least once in the reboot, but more of a nod than any serious usage of it.
BTW I minus well let this be known. You wanna know what happened to the footstep sounds and sound design in general, here's you answer. The lead audio designer on Teef up and left in the middle of production,Apparently Squeenix never bothered to look for another sound designer since. Also the sound designer who left,is now suing Squeenix to get his name off the credits.
Damn. He must of left, when he realized the direction the series was taking. That's the only reason I can come up with why he's suing to have his name taken off the credits.
I'll be honest, I expected this video to just be ten minutes of Razorfist screaming incoherently into the microphone in a fit of rage. Then I remembered that I wasn't watching Angry Joe, zing!
I've said it before... I'll say it again... From the collective dev diaries, it's completely apparent that Erin is to Steven Gallagher as Lightning is to Motomu Toriyama...
+John Gonzalez (FiretheLight) This was the first game I played when I got my PS4....and I was suddenly reminded that bad games do indeed exist and Thief was one of them.
Thief tried to hard to be like dishonored. I don’t know why people liked that game so much. Everything is choreographed so left little for you as the player to do that would be considered unique.
Man, after how awesome Human Revolution was, I thought they knew what the hell they were doing. Apparently, they did, and they chose to go the opposite direction instead. ....*Sigh*
Actually, I think I prefer HR over the original, if only for the fact that the first one was so insanely clunky, and was broken wide open the second you got the dragon tooth sword. Don't get me wrong, I still really liked the first Deus Ex. You could do a LOT of awesome stuff in it. I just prefer human revolution for being so much smoother around the edges. Mind you, I wasn't a fan of the crappy boss fights or the final level turning into zombie horde mode in HR. But overall, I think it was the more solid experience.
The thing about Deus Ex: The Conspiracy, was that you were literally a rookie in the story. Only through your play choices did things get more solid and make you, the player, feel like a true bad ass in the end through your own hard work and actual fully open ended choices. It's the only game I know of that let's you kill main characters in the first level and not give a fuck. It simply removes them from the story like they were never there to begin with. Ain't no freedom like that in Human Revolution (Director's Cut) or any other game. Invisible War comes comes, though. And the main problem with Human Revolution is no conspiracies whatsoever! Sci-fi tropes left and right, sure, but no mind bending story telling like in The Conspiracy or Invisible War. #OpeningAnOldThread
Thank you for an amazing review, RazörFist. I also am a hardcore Thief fan, and I even made my own video explaining every reason why I hate this ABOMINATION of a game. However, I think you make the greatest point of all: Everything bad about this game could have been avoided if the developers listened to us loyal fans. And that's why it is my most hated game of all time. God fucking speed, man.
Just bought the entire thief game library on steam for 7 bucks... and yes that includes this one. Thanks for telling me about the Thief games, good or bad. Will gladly play them and hope to enjoy them as much as you. Keep up the good work Razor.
I would even go as far to say that Skyrim, playing as a Thief/Archer type and doing the Thieves' Guild missions, is a better 'Thief' game. Big bonus: Stephen Russell is in Skyrim, abundantly so. You can hear shades of Garrett in Cynric Endell.
Why are you so certain it will succeed? I mean it will no doubt sell well, but are you certain that otherside will actually attempt a return to form rather than over modernize its game like most other game developers seam to be doing for some reason?
welp that I don't 100% sure of SS3 success but gaining old IPs by Otherside is my dream. it will be flawless if they introduce new IPs for sure and continue their works on old LGS IPs.
Just like the Tom Clancy games. They killed EVERY LAST GAME SERIES he had within a few years. RIP Splinter Cell, RIP Rainbow Six, RIP H.A.W.K.S., RIP Ghost Recon, and The Division is a joke. What a disgrace.
"And she died from a rotten vagina" I fuckin' lost it there. Here's hoping someone actually makes a good fucking Thief game in the modern era. Some independent like the Kingdom Come guys.
FINALLY, MAN!!! You are one of the VERY few people on the internet, it feels, who really understands what an abomination this piece of crap REALLY is. It is BEYOND ME how most people on the TTLG forum still gave that turd a favorable review! I have waited 10 years for a successor to my most favourite game series of all time and it turned out to be the worst disappoinment of my LIFE.
Thi4f (ha) was by a considerable consensus either lambasted or deemed at best a middle-of-the-road disappointment. I don't know what the TTLG forums are but sounds like they are the only ones to give this high praise because I've hardly seen it anywhere, whether they be major gaming sites or people in general. So by all accounts his opinion in the long run is with the consensus albeit perhaps harsher than most (I think only Yahtzee hated it as much, go figure).
That's kinda how I felt playing it. It doesn't compare to the first three but I found that if I just treated it as a different game with just some Thief references I found it was a decent game. It certainly wasn't terrible and it does have it's moments where for a solid few seconds I felt like I was actually playing a Thief game and then it vanishes without a trace :(
Good vid, RF. This "Thief" is nothing short of mediocre and I shant be playing it again anytime soon. However, I am happy to say that when I flew to Boston last week for my nephew's birthday party, I made a pilgrimage to the former Cambridge site of the esteemed and immortal Looking Glass Studios and had my bro-in-law take pics of me dressed in black hiding in the bushes by the front door and also attempting to pick the lock!
Twilight vs Predator? I'd watch the shit out of that movie. Sparkly pseudo-vampires being eviscerated by an otherworldy hunter whilst Kristen Stewart sobs (unconvincingly) in the background.
I watched the review about 4 times and I still can't get enough of it. If anything, this game suffered from it being released in the current modern era of gaming. Making everything easy and 'accessible' for the casual demographic which sadly dominates the consumer demographic at large. Any reboots of old franchises is always met with skepticism from my part due to the fact that it HAS to be streamlined to 'reach out for a wider audience', and the same goes to most sequels nowadays and not to mention new IPs. Sigh. RIP Thief.
I don't understand wtf this Thief is. In gameplay wise it is a reboot and fails to be a descent stealth game. But the story is a sequel to the original thief's story line.
I knew your opinion would be like that but thats absolute valid. For my part. I like the game. And lets be honest here, I don't mind the AI, if I consider that I could stand in front of Guards in the original while hidden in shadows and blackjack them in the face. Noisy surfaces don't really exist, footsteps can be heard but barely. And I am fine with the crouch solves all problems mentality in modern stealth games. But wish there was more than just broken glass and ONLY two water surfaces I had to be careful with. Yes, the levels feel like levels and not like places, but they are at least well designed levels. Snaggin loot feels great and is addicting even though its just almost worthless golden scissors and cock(rings). Especially sneaking around the Freaks in pitch black got me thrilled, arguably the best stealth parts of the game. The small gameplay flaws everyone complains about aren't gamebreaking either IMO. The biggest flaw is the story. Its right out shit, not worthy a Thief game. But not cuz its shitty written, because its a whole new universe without beloved hammers, pagans or keepers. What I wish to state here is, that I find the gameplay well done and it is not that bad as everyone states. btw, you got my like cuz having opinions is whats most important. God Speed!
jcaesar19871 How is a review that *begins by stating that 'this is not being judged as a Thief game, but as a stealth game'*... remotely couched in 'Thief Purism'? It's literally the third sentence. Use your ears, dunce. Stealth games where the stealth mechanics DO NOT WORK... are bad games. It has nothing at all to do with how 'Thief' it is.
jcaesar19871 ***** If Razors view of the game is purist, then every Thief purist should think this game is shit? But that's not the case. I am a purist, but I liked the game cuz I too managed to rate it on its own by looking at how well the stealth works and if it matches my personal expectations and preferences. Razor and I might not share the same opinion about the stealth system, but when it didn’t match with his expectations than it has nothing to do with him being purist or not.
8:30 ...and here we have the the problem (or one of the problems) with reboots. The same thing happened with the original Tomb Raider games, Uncharted, and then the Tomb Raider reboot. As if the concept of a reboot wasn't already unoriginal and uninspired to begin with.
tylerfrump15 Except for the fact that the most recent Tomb Raider reboot shed every scrap of its own identity in a vain attempt to become more like Uncharted. Borrowing good mechanics from Uncharted is not a bad thing. Telling Lara's origin story is also not a bad thing. The most recent Tomb Raider reboot is the sum of parts that are mostly good by themselves. The problem lies in the complete and total abandonment of everything that made Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider, and attempting to remain connected to the franchise through virtually nothing but the protagonist's full name. Reboots generally exist solely to allow developers to make a totally different kind of game while still trying to retain an existing fanbase. The DmC reboot is an excellent exception to this, retaining much of the same style and combat as its predecessors while rebooting the universe around it. The critical point that must be met by any reboot is that it *feels* like its predecessors, and if you alter the gameplay wholesale, you lose that connection. Uncharted Raider, as it is so aptly called, feels like it belongs in the Uncharted franchise by virtue of its gameplay, and gameplay is paramount to everything else.
MegaMan Trigger I was actually too afraid to mention DmC out of fear that someone would burn me as a witch. I'm glad someone else liked that game, or at least accepted it as a worthy reboot.
OptiumusMagnum It doesn't live up to some of the previous entries, but it's not a wholesale abandonment of what makes Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry. As such it's at the very least deserving of being associated with its predecessors, unlike some *other* reboots I could name. Dante not having white hair is not a good reason to hate the game. It had to be said.
I was saying almost the same things regarding this game. Levels are often too small, sound design is terrible and the "swoop" mechanic feels broken to an extent. All of these are related to the core gameplay experience.
I quite like the swoop mechanic, but I'll give you those first two. Bigger levels would have been nice, and the sound system is buggy as hell...and this is a stealth game, mind you! Sound is a pretty big fucking element, isn't it?
Johnathan Kelley I think the swoop mechanic is cool as hell, I'm just saying its pretty broken/makes certain clutch situations that would make you shit your pants in the earlier games, easy to get out of now.
ShiroKreuz I didn't think of that, you're right! The swoop makes thing easier than it was in earlier games. ALJustice0 I have no idea how the swoop technically works.
ALJustice0 Yeah ALJustice0 that's EXACTLY what I was thinking when I saw the swoop. What the hell is garret doing to swoop, it sounds like such a ridiculous concept when thinking about not making any sound. Is he sliding on his ass ?
It's funny how far graphics have been evolving, but something that inept developers seem to be completely forgetting about in this day and age is how audio is being handled in games. Remember walking through the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time and being immersed in the calm yet unsettling music that played throughout? Or traversing the inside of the Shalebridge Cradle from Thief Deadly Shadows and being creeped out by the ghostly banging noises and backwards-looped shouting? Moments like that are completely gone in this so-called "new and inventive" modern gaming era, replaced with shitty blaring dubstep and Baysplotions around every corner. Is it too much to ask for a somewhat rememberable soundtrack these days?
ALJustice0 It's a shame Nintendo censored that song in the later versions because of "Muslim racism" (even though there wasn't a reported case of litigation by any Islamic group) and replaced it with generic dungeon singing.
Why did garret have to have a girl friend? I loved his lone wolf bad ass reputation in the past games, now all he cares about is some dumb girl who thinks she a better thief. the quick time button mashing crap while opening every damn window bugs me alot too and most of the homes are empty!
Man I remember how excited I was when I heard Thief was coming back, and then how quickly it deteriorated the instant I saw the first gameplay. Still one of the biggest disappointments in the last few years.
I had heard that the game was bad, but had been lied to before so I picked it up when it dropped to $40. I thought, "even a bad Thief game should be better than the latest Medal of Duty: Call of Honor." This game broke my heart while sodomizing the memories I'd held dear of The Dark Project. What shattered my hopes that this was even a bad Thief game were the bonus objectives I saw that included "Do 3 combat takedowns!" Quicktime event combat finishers in a game whose supposed ancestors quickly and *harshly* punished you for even thinking about getting into a sword fight. That is *not* the spirit of Thief. I can only assume that bullshit was added in because some Square Enix, coke-addled marketing big-shot decided that a game whose goal is avoiding combat all together if possible wouldn't draw a crowd big enough to simultaneously support their pedophilia and smack habits. The biggest problem I ran into was a bug that rendered the game unplayable. After completing the crematorium mission I could not leave the clock tower. I would climb out of the window, go through a loading screen, only to emerge back in the clock tower, then try again like some kleptomaniac gerbil. The whole time Farrett is saying the same thing over and over again like he just got back from the crematorium. I could have spent that $40 on a back-alley lobotomy, and it would have been better spent than on Thief.
Fun fact, in the mission "Running Interference" in Thief II there was an expert objective: "Still, nothing stops you from teaching these guards a lesson and getting in a little practice. Score at least 8 knockouts" - probably that was what they were inspired by, if they even touched the old games at all, which I doubt seeing their arrogance.
*Spoiler* Y'all should know that the first thief games took place in the years 434-435 (When Deadly Shadows takes place is unknown). This game takes place in 842. In fact, in the Moria Asylum, you can find old Garrett's mechanical eye as a collectible. The story goes that Widow Moria wanted an asylum built, the Baron honored that, and Garrett was thrown in there to prevent any more trouble. He escaped, hiding some cache (there's an achievement for finding those), but at the cost of his mechanical eye! He had to have been late 40's early 50's when that happened.
so... wait wait wait wait.... You are telling me, that the game's narrative and storyline is that of, not the true Garrett, but a Future-Date Imposter Garrett?
Gabe Chapman I've got nothing against the new VO, but...He's not Stephen Russell! My guess is they replaced Russell since it's not the same Garrett. There's just too many coincidences though. Garrett's fence is Basso, Basso's ex-wife is named Juniverre (really need to learn how to spell it), and Garrett has a younger female protege. Think about that? How can all those be the damn same 400 years later? That's how Eidos tricked us old fans, they made everything sound the same! Also, couple of nice easer eggs, The Moria Asylum is built where Morias mansion was (remember that from Deadly Shadows) and the Cathedral from Chapter 7 is the same building where old Garrett (Or the sneak thief, as he's referred to) stole the gemstone "The Eye"
What I hate about this game is that dispatching guards is not a simple matter of an arrow to the head or a swing of your club, its that its just a button that forces you to watch a video of your character taking that guard down. All video games do this, you don't swing your weapon like that button does every time you press it, no, it activates a cutscene showing you how bad ass the animators work is, over and over and over. I HATE TAKEDOWN ANIMATIONS!
Jake Azz not a single word of that sentence had anything to do with the impact they may or may not have. besides, I never said they didn't suck, they're just better than the ones in THI4F (the latter of which, by the way, were inspired by the Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movies)
its MIND BLOWING how easy it was to make a great thief 4 game .. all they had to do is just take all the good stuff from thief 1 2 and 3 and enhance it BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO disfuckered had to ruin everything, yah dishonored is a boring game deal with it fan boys
Today I was over at a friends, and he has the game, so I thought, let's give this game a shot. 2 1/2 hours later...I said I was done. It's fucking awful.... I will stick to the first 3 Thief games.
I AM SINISTARRRR MWHAHAHAHAH - I used to do that in 5th grade when I played football, I sucked at the sport, but the other players thought it was cool.
I think the problem with the levels stems with how they try and point you in a particular direction. Dishonored did this as well. It's why it was even described as a "linear stealth action game" because while it had a few pathways or alternate routes it still pointed you in a particular direction toward your objective. Which made the game a lot less enjoyable to replay. Wheras in Thief you wouldn't know where your objective might be. Some levels like Down in the Bonehoard might have you wander around a really large hostile map where you actually do get lost in. But it still feels engaging because the game is willing to let you get lost rather than holding your hand. Hitman was very similar though it's approach was very different. You'd know where your objective would be but the trick was how you'd deal with it, and there's be countless ways to do just that. As such games like Thief and Hitman are intensely fun to replay over and over again because of that.
I had such hopes and dreams for this to re-invigorate the Thief series for a new generation. Words can't describe the feeling of growing sadness I felt as played through the first few levels--as I slowly began to realize the extent of the failure I was witnessing. Eidos Montreal is so talented and capable of greatness. They demonstrated that they could deliver a truly magnificent game with Human Revolution. Unfortunately with Thief, we get a cartoon of Garret in a cartoon of the Thief story world in a cartoon of a story. Please Eidos, you have a strong foundation here. Fix the story, tweak the game mechanics and add that signature Thief sound...and you'll have a winner. I, for one, am still pulling for you!
Okay, I have to disagree with the idea of the footsteps. Maybe its because I have surround sound, maybe its because I am playing a PC version and the 360 version you have has glitches regarding the sound, but every time I was always able to hear the footsteps. Granted they should have added an element where the sound of said footsteps would increase the closer they get and decrease the farther they get, but such things might be fixed in a patch if that sound isn't working properly (given the mixed reactions regarding the footsteps is any indication, some denying its existence while others claiming it does but could use some tweaking plus my own experience seems to be that the footstep sounds are glitched). But the feedback is there and it exists... unlike with Dishonored that is.
I didn't really like Thief 3 or "Thief" 4, but I will say that Thief 2 is one of the finest games I have ever played. Thief 3 and "Thief" 4 got rid of all of the good parts of Thief, sprawling levels, interesting npc conversation, and Garret being a antisocial wisecracking badass.
What was wrong with thief 3 that differed from the others? Garrett did all the interaction because the city literally depended on it. Garrett's own life was in danger. An inescapeable one this time. Garrett cant just hold his middle finger to the keepers and say "nope im too good for you guys ima steel ur shit" he even said he didnt want to be friends with any of them. Whatever. I respect all peoples opinions and am not forcing you to believe in mine. Im just sharing my opinion here. Just can you explain what ruined thief 3 for you?
Eh, I never played a Thief game. Should I just start with the original? I don't mind that its dated, I still play old RPGS and what not from the 90s with mechanics that people consider "clunky" and I don't mind.
ChongWario If you never played the Thief games, any fan will tell you they are highly recommended! They have excellent atmosphere, they have a solid story, they have excellent gameplay, and are way better than the reboot! Reboot's not bad, but no where near as good.
i've only gotten up to the second combat mission in thief gold & the game has aged incredibly well, BUT the 5th mission new to to gold edition took me more than 2 hours to complete (VERY big level) & the combat missions are horrible, just look up a walkthrough for those missions.
All 3 Thief games are great. Just have a guide with you for the first two Thief games. Sometimes the levels can be confusing and intimidating to first time players.
I confess, I've never played any Thief games, but I know exactly where Razorfist is coming from. This is now the norm in gaming. My hatred snowballs...
What? No distance difference audible footsteps in a stealth game? aha...ahahahaha...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously!!!! AHAHAHAHAHA! And this game is nr.1 in our country's TV-gameshows?? Come on, even tenchu on ps1 had fucking audible footsteps even though you don't need it there!! What were these guys thinking when they made this shit??
Something small is usually essential in stealth games. It's so depressing that details have become mostly irrelevant in modern games except when it comes to graphical details, which are far less essential.
*WuB* *WuB* *WuB* It's actually pretty bizarre when companies like Konami and to a lesser extent Namco Bandai (probably taking the initiative after seeing what happened to Konami) listened to their fans and made certain that they original voice actors would be used in their more recent HD remakes. Again these aren't new games but it baffles me that Eidos Montreal would have gone out of their way to ask their fans opinions and then disregard them. *WuB* *WuB* *WuB* The funny thing is though that all most people complained about was the voice acting, which while clearly a signature bit of the Thief series (I don't think anyone would have spent so much time talking about it otherwise) it's such a small part of the problems with this game. I could be wrong but the development of this title, especially for it's long timeline was extraordinarily quiet beyond the VA stuff. If let's say we got more than some trailers with voice clips, hell even an early Alpha build of the game at any convention I think the fans would have EVEN more to complain to the point that the VA debacle would seem quite minuscule by comparison. *WuB* *WuB* *WuB* This looks like a Dishonored game but without all the magical bells and whistles given to the player. I'm surprised Garrett didn't start conjuring flies or something to mess with guards. *WuB* *WuB* *WuB*
Why did they get rid of Russell? Was there a something that happened behind the scenes and why were they trying so hard to push the new guy? It seems that replacing the voice actor and rerecording the dialogue a year before the game is launched wouldn't be that difficult. It just seems odd that they went out of their way to screw something up that could have been easily avoided.
That first part is understandable now if the new guy did the motion capture but if Russell already did all the work then it seems easier if the just re used his voice clips. How did his voice not fit the model any way? It's not like you have a big guy voicing a little guy. Thank you for shedding some light on this though.
Hey if this is going to be a pattern, can they pick up Soul Reaver or Beyond Good and Evil franchises? It goes success, failure, then success again right? Riiighttt?
I guess you had to finish this game. I got to the spiral stair case with the numbers attempted to solve the puzzle and then realized I was really bored. I then wished I had saved 50$.
Resident evil 4 is my favorite in the series, probably for alot of people too, but it doesn't feel like resident evil at all, it seems like a diferent game with the resident evil paint job. Thief 4 on the other hand, is just shit.
What a complete and utter failure Eidos has gone out of it's way to offer us. I am ashamed that I even was considering it, because I hold the previous versions in the most highest regard. Every point the man makes is spot on! Dressing him up like some kind of Gay Ninja? "Focus Mode"?? , 'Skill Points"? No ambient sound propagation?, BOSS Levels? Secret xray vision?, lighted targets for KILLING PEOPLE? , and no Russell? --WTF are those stupid frenchies up there smoking? I call this game Thief4: THE NANNY PROJECT , because of the suffocatingly instructional; pedantic, juvenile; and patronizing, attitude Eidos displays towards the heritage of this franchise, and all of the millions of Thief fans. Eidos has handed us all a Giant turd wrapped up in a shroud, and it stinks, really, really bad
So to sum up, for all of us who are fans of Thief, we should just basically pretend this game doesn't exist, right? Unfortunately that's about 90% of gaming nowadays.
I will never understand this universal agreement that DeusEx:HR is a good game.... Even I, someone who has never finished the 1rst DeusEx (although I've played it quite a few hours) , can see the huge step backwards that HR is to the original (dk about invisible war).
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes might just be 2 seconds long, but i'll play that over this festering pile. At least they're actually improving on MGS rather than devolving it. Wtf did they do to this franchise....
I actually thought 4 improved on 3. Going back to 3 is hard as hell since the control are shit in comparison to 4. The only problem with 4 is that you're overpowered, but the stealth is designed well enough to where it's a fun and viable option. I guess the only thing i'm concerned about with about 5 is how the stealth feedback works since they ditched the radar and camo index.
I just completed the game after all the patches. they fixed several of the issues (not all) though they created new ones too. the ones that are still there are the Ai becoming locked, repeat of speeches, and dead spots in the audio (around a corner I can hear it but I get closer to hear better and it goes quiet) some things they improved was the sound when it came to foot steps, the "ultimate swoop", the action shots, and the lighting issue. the story was sub par due to the fact of lack of information. you never find the reason why some characters do what they do. (granted this might be because I didn't find all 244 documents through out all the levels and side quests. which is part of the reason why I would agree to his comment of this not being a thief game. traditionally all the in game documents lead you towards more loot and the main story was given to you so you at least you know why everything was happening. In a lot of ways the levels reminded me of playing one of the older games and created a desire to play the older one. This game was beautiful in a lot of ways but it lost attention to detail and there seemed to be less secrets. this all can be related to the focus idea because honestly it made the game really easy even when I was out of focus and I played it on custom with no detection or damage I could still clear the area within an hour. if you give us those tools make us use them because the game better be hard. granted the game is big but a lack of secrets creates a boring room, to their credit they did add many ways to enter places but not very many exits or not very interesting ways. the baron's mansion was perhaps the best but that is that way because of 2 things (one it has massive loot! (master thief needs more then pens, knifes, and spoons to live on. and two is the fact that it was the one they showed off in the unveiling which they needed to show many ways of entry and fun ways to interact with the environment.) the bank heist DLC was a joke in so many ways. I was in the vault and I thought WTF is this. No gems, No gold bars, and they add a half assed note saying the city is poor from the starvation and etc. (ok ill go along with that but where is it all then, gold doesn't disappear.) I figured it would be in the barons house and I really didn't find any notes saying anything about it. I do give props to clockwise house for the puzzles which was cool but after turning in that line of jobs all I get is a thank you and some gold. ??? wth i have things to do and some of the pay is just so sad. one job I got 96% loot and almost all thieves challenges and I walked away with maybe 700G which is enough to buy maybe an arrow.
when i see = thief 4, what i expect = metal age scale level design, dark project level story, stephen russel is back, what i see = dishnored minor imposter edition.
panameadeplm I want to play it. So yes, I would have to give them money but I'm not willing to pay full price for it. 5 or 10 bucks is nothing. You suggest I pirate it like that other guy wants me to do? Fuck off with that crap.
MythicalMonk3y fuck pirating it, find a friend IRL who has it for like the 360 or PS3 or whatever and play that. Don't spend money thats not already there :P
