Possible strong under currents in the evening that’s probably why they tell ppl not to swim during after hours

This was after a hard rain. People were told to clear the beach and not get into the waters, but they didn't listen to protocol.

Not sure where you’re getting your info but there are strong rip currents especially in the evening or before the rain. I’ve lived here for 30 yrs and there’s always red flags 🚩 when there’s rip currents and due to winds, we have huge waves often. It’s the ocean so it’s expectable!
