I went from a fan who loved their songs whenever I heard one, to being a full-on fanboy. I still can't tell them apart, and I hope I never can; the emotions and mystery they express in their art is so amazing...
It's 4 a.m. on the dot Ticking bomb of a thought These cells that I hate Are just a cage where I wait Move my feet like a horse I'm shaking free from the source I gallop and go Feel the muscle and bone Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it Lift a wrist to your ear (lift a wrist to your ear) Tell me, what do you hear? (Tell me, what do you hear?) Is it the sound of escape A beat that never feels late Move your feet like a horse (move your feet like a horse) Shake 'em free from the course (Shake 'em free from the course) Now gallop and go Feel the muscle and bone Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Waiting, watch the sky I'm aching, ask me why I'm breaking, tell me why I'm breaking Waiting, watch the sky I'm aching, ask me why I'm breaking tell me why I'm breaking Waiting, watch the sky I'm aching, ask me why I'm breaking tell me why I'm breaking Waiting, watch the sky I'm aching, ask me why I'm breaking, tell me why I'm breaking Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes I see stars Do you think I'll get over it? Sometimes, sometimes I see stars Sometimes, I get over it
@@carloberardi220 they were really good. Glad you're going to see them. That was my 5th time seeing them throughout my life. First time in 2005 at stone pony in asbury Park.
@@carloberardi220 lol awww better late than never!!! After The con they changed a lot and then after Sainthood even more. Now they're more indie pop as opposed to folk indie or indie alternative. Out of all the albums the only couple I didn't really like much is Sainthood and Hey I'm just like you. Everything before The Con was so different. I really loved this album though. Cry baby is a very strong effort to combine their roots and their newer style. Love it. ❤
Parts of this sound like your music from over ten years ago but then there's new quality's to this I like but it would be awesome if your next album was indie pop instead of mainstream pop just for us fans from back in alligator tear days
I go back all the way back to if it was you and under feet like ours and this business of art and they haven't made anything that sounds like any of those in years. This album echoes some of that old sound. No offense but I still to this day dislike sainthood but alligator was one of the only good songs from that album. Including Hell. On directing. And paper back head. Personally didn't care for the rest. But I understood your comment because I miss the older sounds too.
3 months post breakup with my girl. Great track. I will get over it just in the galloping phase. Just about let it all go, let her go ready get back out there soon. Summer here in N.Z . I love this album but wow I shed some tears. Faded like a feeling was released right when we knew it wasn't going to work, we got lazy and we faded 😞 We ended....
Can we all agree that the horse lyrics is something that only Sara could have written? 😅 It's interesting how they made the intro so sonically misleading from the rest of the song.
Sikh warrior on a horse 🐎 song I get it ...but anyway, how are you making money to live good in Canada? The country has everything to offer me but won't... hurting both the country and definitely me.. staying at a ashram in Rishikesh and it's my day off hence the online writings today
