Listen to the U-Boat #8754 accelerate right in front of me, WOW!!! Of interest this was recorded April 10, 1990. All U36C's were out-of-service April 17, 1990 stored at San Bernardino, never to run again.
I noticed something interesting in this video.The last engine in the group, the Kodachrome paint scheme, is an SF30C.What's interesting, is according to my research, that is ATSF SF30C unit# 9532.The unit# got painted on wrong, by switching the "3" and "5".All ATSF SF30C units were numbered 95**Just thought I'd point that out. Didn't now if unit# mistakes like that were common or not.Great video by the way!
Wow, good catch. I haven’t been able to find any information about this unit being mis- or re-numbered 9352. There is a photo on RRPictureArchives of the ATSF 9532 from 1988 that shows it properly numbered on the fireman’s side.
