1P (Knee - Bryan / Oh Se - Lee / Tongbal Love - Devil Jin) 2P (Nin - Steve / Hole Man / Heihachi / Qudans - Devil Jin)
translation: this is a " tekken 5 dr S_fight final match" held on 2007. it was held in "Green game center" and so many teams participated in it. i entered the army after this......
In dr era, there were so called four emperors in korea; Qudans, Nin, Holeman and Knee. this is when Knee owned everyone of them, walk out the arcade and went to army like a boss.
the spacing and timing look so much tighter from everything i've seen so far in tekken 7,everything looks like its run on 1.2x speed. has the game itself slowed down or are the players getting worse? changes in the meta of the game?
I know this is a dead thread, but here's to anyone who wants to keep the discussion going. In TKDR the only thing that's faster is movement. Attacks are still pretty much the same speed. In T5DR you can SS some fast attacks up close on reaction. While in T7, movement is so slow that you have to make a hard read to SS at zero range. Backdashing has also been heavily crippled in 7. If you watch Knee's latest fights you'll see that he BDC's just as fast as before, yet he's practically standing in place because of the nerfed movement. Nerfing movement made it so characters like Kazumi, DJ, Jack, and Dragunov dominate the tier lists, not purely because of their frame data, but because they have moves with excellent 3d properties. Their pushback and range make it so that they can dominate space control, while every other character is left with crippled backdashes.
DoomDash I met Knee a few months back and he said his favourite was DR because the scene was much closer. Most interesting thing he mentioned was that ever since Tekken Crash popped up, people have become overtly competitive and there's been a lot of falling outs in the Korean scene because of it, which is a mighty pity.
DoomDash Yeah, I reckon that may have to do with the simplicity of newer games, T6 and TTT2 were considered hard to learn because of the amount of required knowledge. Older players would have given up those games because of life and newer players wouldn't have stuck it out.
+marytifa that's why JDCR didn't even made it to the semis in Tekken 7 Crash While Knee is the grand champion Get your facts straight Solo plays is Knee's world
