@@holden6104 naw in tekken 5 he was his best. DF2+3 launched and was only -11 on block. His ff1+2 was mid and fast that led to a combo.. tho I think his new ff1+2 is AMAZING tho. I think a lot of his stuff is still great especially in t7. He had the df+1 tech trap when you end a combo with df+1 if they tech you get uf3+4. His HCF+2 did INSANE damage and its still safe to this day LOL. I'll have to disagree and say 5.0 ganny was a fucking MONSTER. I honestly think he was top 5, bu that can be argued
He was, as a matter of fact. Feng was one of the Four Horsemen of T5.0. (The others were Bryan, Nina, and of course, the Horseman of Death also known as Steve Fox)
I believe OP is referring to Belated Salami's video where he had Feng outside the top 5, citing Feng's tendency to over perform early in any given game's life cycle and his lack of tournament results. (Ganryu and Devil Jin were placed above him)
This t5 anybody who played this in arcades or even ps2 against actual people didn't see this stuff as godlike just really good. b1 for instance is safe but some people liked to throw it out randomly so you could catch them by duck launching it and the sweep being -14 ment he was getting launched on reaction if you happened to block it... but i played raven who also had tons of bs in that game so what do i know lol
I could even make a list on the fly. T1 Hei, T2 Bruce, T3 Ogre, T4 Steve (not taking risks w/ Jin, the movelist is new but not the character), T5 Feng, T6 Bob, T7... for the arcade version I'd say the Shaheencopter but even arcade Shaheen does not compare to (who else) Leroy Smith. (Yes, I will not include tag games.)
Im pretty sure Feng's ff4,3 was really crazy too. Both hits launch, and I believe first hit was -10 and the second -11 or the other way around. There's a t5 tournament on RU-vid where you can see Qudans spam it

And there was an easy death combo as well from his ,,f+2 1,,. I have tested it on bears but I am not sure of it works on other big characters as well! 🤔
Also he got unlockable 3~4,3(or4) on tech roll it was bug i suppose 🤔 And proper juggles are ended by d/b+1+2,2 into the ground and from FC just press 3, cheers 🥂
I'm glad you're showing the broke fest of 5.0. The real trio was Steve, Nina, and Bryan.. but Feng wasn't that far behind them along with Law as well. Law had dumb damage off a 13 frame CH lmfao. The sheer amount of broke in that game was fun as hell, but super annoying. Also if you could.. I'm a Ganryu and Roger main.. Roger had some seriously broke as fuck tech traps and his f1,2,1,2 on ch led to insane damage as well.
0:35 - just to check, obviously you don't have to deal with this anymore in T7, but is this kind of knockdown still in the game, and can you tech roll it?
He was like a Leroy, people thought he was broken by design and couldn't be fixed. The only difference is that he wasn't alone, there were other really broken characters, so the game did play well
