I never made that connection, when I played Tekken 5 for the first time myself. But the reason Feng never said anything to Wang, is probably because Wang reminds Feng of his former master that he himself killed, but respected as well. So after the battle, it was great to see Feng bow towards Wang out of respect. Also, Wang's ending was so sad. 😭
I agree. He and Jinpachi were likely longtime friends and more than likely, seeing Jinpachi in such a horrible state must have saddened Wang who didn't want to hurt such a close friend. But Wang had to defeat Jinpachi or risk the destruction of the world.
Anybody here thinks that Wang is underrated asf? I mean look at his story in this game and his character development in this game....he is just a wasted potential and it's sad that he didn't appear in Tekken 7 :((
i get why leroy had to be introduced to the series but it wouldve been nice to have a character to inherit all Wang's moves as a replacement due to his old age. a disciple wouldve been nice. also this ending shouldve been canon 🥲
It's funny how he said "xiaoyu? Is dinner ready yet? I'm starving" after he just defeated her as if his granddaughter is dead and all he cares about is food lmfaoo.
Right. Namco should have made Wang story in tekken 5 canon. I played a lot tekken 5 in 2020 and Wang is the character i used most. His story in tekken 5 is the best, in the only char with 4 interludes and is so emotional.
@Kazuma Yoshikaze / 義風一真 Inform myself after our convesation the othertime I must say you got good point but still the thing of winner of Tekken 5 is not Wang for sure to have more interludes doesn't mean to be the main character to the storyline or be winner of tournament.
@Kazuma Yoshikaze / 義風一真 Alright but still the winner of tournament is Jin tho maybe Wang fought Jinpachi when the tournament was over because Wang lost to Jin in semi final of tournament so probably the only explaintion is that Jin defeat Jinpachi then from there Asuka came to stop DevilJin Jinpachi was already defeated just Wang came there to see Jinpachi on floor and give fatal blow to kill Jinpachi that's the only explanation of how Wang defeat Jinpachi otherwise I can't see Logic of it since in everyone , everywhere and even the game creator confirmed that Jin is the winner but still the thing about Kazuya kill Jinpachi can't understand or find any connection with it since Kazuya just partecipe the tournament to know who is organizer of tournament he only knows about Jinpachi when meet Heihachi.
wish wang ending was canon instead of golden boy jin winning all the time....its part of what made tekken boring I liked how even though the mishimas were strong they had legit competition like paul being a threat to the mishimas etc and just more respect for the rest of non mishima cast
The fact that this isn't canon sucks, I'm not really into Wang that much but if anyone were to kill Jinpachi it should've been him instead of Jin y'know?
