@The tricky tick yeah I believe so, I never owned a copy of tekken 5 as I was not really into consoles when I was a kid and I only played it on the local arcade in my country so I don't really remember much of T5. The only Tekken that I really played at home back when I was in high school was T6 on the PS3.
@@osamamanan2723 yes, i used to pratice against her, and she block flawless, punish very well and really will destroy you if you don't play carefully. The PS3 and x box 360 A.I sucks.
As a kid i didnt speak or read english at all, so i didnt know that the customizables i got in the campaign would increase damage and health. it was still some of the most fun ive had playing tekken, even though i made it unnecessarily difficult for myself by not knowing what i was doing at all. ive recently gone back to replay tekken 6 ttt2 and other games i played on the ps3 and it was so nostalgic and fun. i hope they bring something like tekken force, the devil within or scenario campaign back in tekken 8.
Tekken 6 was a game of my childhood and I can't understand one thing till this day - Scenario Campaign being hated amongst fans. For me as a kid barely understanding a word in English (I didn't give a single fuck about the story) it was a pure joy to play this mode. With looting system and some cool item mechanics it seemed for me like a "game in game" and a place to have fun - I never considered myself as a competetive player. Low key hoping they'll bring the Tekken Force back on Tekken 8, necessarily with the CO-OP mode from the beginning. Beat 'em up is on of the bests game genres to enjoy sofa playing with your friends. It's kinda sad it's been forgotten and abandoned lately.
It's got a lot of jank but i enjoyed it for what it was, added a chunk of decent content to the package. I however cannot play a story mode and not view the story, my eye twitches when i see a 1st time player at a game skipping story scenes.
T6 is where I really got into Tekken and started learning combos and shit, Asuka will and always will be my main because of how fun she was in Tekken 6.
All I would do fighting Azazel with jin was launch, (bound is optional for more dmg. Not required for this to work) then do jin's special UB 1+2. He will lay on the ground or tech roll. Doesn't matter though. Still hits everytime lol. If you do it in neutral he will just teleport and punish you.
brah, that was some creme de la creme content! The Azazel fight had me shouting at the screen :L RESPECT for seeing it through. That boss is a ball sack. Liked and subscribed! (y)
People will typically try and point out how Tekken was always weird, but Tekken 6 is when the game became ridiculous imo. The vibe from 5 to this is actually loco.
Ahhhhh, this reminds me of 2 years ago when I used to be addicted to tekken 6 on the PSP, It took me about 512 matches to get to tekken god as kazuya cuz I didnt know you had to fight the same rank as you to rank up, and i used to play it strictly on Ultra had, I remember completeing dan ranks, and then as I keep winning so much , the game kept suggesting me tekken god ranks, and i was so thrilled and excited, I ended up strictly playing against tekken god CPU cuz i thought maybe ill get faster ranking, but little did i know, you dont. I spendt countless matches beat them but i wasn't even that high, up until i realized how you gotta rank up and got to tekken god. So far, I did it with Kazuya, Jin and Asuka. I mainly play Kazuya, but cuz I spent 500+ matches in ghost battles mindlessly playing against god tier cpu and when I got to tekken god i said hell, lets do it again, The i did it with Jin and Asuka. little advice; dont try to master 3 characters.
For me tekken 6 has the best soundtracks sounds effects and bro the that says GET READY FOR THE NEXT BATTLE I think he should be the guy that says that and KO in tekken 8. The KO is so satisfying like it makes you fell good that you win wothout a perfect or a GREAT.
Tekken 6 was one of the first tekken game I have played, and its really an amazing game, it was one of my childhood. not just that, but also nostalgia as well, by the way, it's good that you have made a ultra hard challenge, great work arsenalty.
they should make a tekken with a creatable character and let you choose your own moves made from the moves already in the game, make your own combos and everything , the closest thing is putting on a colorful hat and stuff i also suggest an option to turn gravity on or off so theres no juggling (some people love juggling though aha)
The story in Tekken 6 could have been amazing with evil Jin, like how his father turned out in 2. It's just way too bloated and needs to be more simplified. First, take out the world war. It wasn't even needed since Azazel was already awake thanks to Kazuya and Jin being Devils. Second, they should not have backed out by making Jin not actually evil. The devs got scared by fan negative reception and made him actually not evil because Devil Gene and what not. Third, add in the Kazama clan in the main storyline. They neutralize the Devil Gene and Jin KAZAMA is the focal point of the story. Speaks for itself. Have Asuka be involved in the main storyline instead of being in a Sakura-Karin copypaste rivalry with Lili. Fourth, have us see how Kazuya take over G-Corp by murdering them. It's a wasted potential to not us see it. Like how he is the pretend hero of the story, but he is the antagonist also. Fifth, make Kazuya vs Jin be the actual main storyline, instead of having lots of things to focus on. Azazel really factors in for this. I could go on, but in short, Tekken 6's story took a nosedive with the world war and Jin's motivations flip-flopping. It could have been so much more like how Jin becoming like Kazuya in Tekken 2, but no. Azazel tied in complicates things too.
Yes, with Jinpachi you can use your skill to defeat him, Azazel however is a fking guessing game, the only way to damage him is only when he's in the middle of attacking
Not speaking by nostalgia, but Tekken 6 (and TTT2 to some extent) has one of the best presentation of the series. Everything from music, graphics, and stages are just the icing on the cake. Tekken 7 didn't really impress me all that much with those, and the music sounds samey with the "dubstep wub".
Ah T6 the game were I learned to play. Graphics wise the game still looks pretty good imo. Azazel was an annoying bastard so looked forward to seeing you struggle. But my god were characters weaker here then in Tag 2/T7, except for Bob, Bryan, Lars and Jack ofc
1:10 I can’t believe a game of this production quality would use Google translate for „rest in peace“ and it’s not even correct. The German version would be „Ruhe in Frieden“ but „Dauern sie in pease“ is more like „last in pease“ and yes, the Japanese devs made a typo and wrote „pease“ instead of „peace“ which is prob why google translate didn’t know what it should do.
