The fact Tekken 8 even being a native English game, Eddy speaking Brazilian Portuguese, things like "Vambora", "é malandragem", "minha vez"... it shows respect to our culture and language! As a Brazilian I freaking loved it
@@jaden7918 I think he means how before the way Eddy spoke Portuguese was really choppy and inauthentic, like you'd never run into anyone that talked like that in Brazil. So he's happy that in Tekken 8 they put more care into the authenticity
1:50-1:59 this is what Arslan Ash was talking about when he made that tweet. Drag always had crazy pressure, but between heat, his new moves, and being able to do wr moves easier in general it’s crazy over the top you literally can’t do anything. Not to mention the chip dmg that it’s doing at the same time
@@baased2761 That’s true, but my issue is the ease of access to these type of pressure strings that Tekken 8 has given to everybody because of the heat system and being able to do wr moves easier in general….and you’re being chipped out at the same time. Some characters have lost their identity because they’ve been changed to fit this type of play style (Eddy is prime example of this). Sure throwing a quick 10 frame jab would’ve worked in this situation, but the first time a good player sees you swinging on -6, you get blowed up with a CH launcher.
Is JDCR not using WR2 as much because of Eddy's tendency to evade it? I noticed he used more homing and tracking moves this set before using his pressure tools, but only used WR2 very sparingly.
lol he is a lab character. thats how it normally is and that is Jeongdding's character as well. He is not just "this guy" Literally how Arslan was killing everyone with Azucena during the exhibition.
@@loqztv If they both jab that's true but as you can see jdcr does a 22 frame move with blizzard hammer 4 times . He is +6 which means a 16 frame move by jdcr trades with a jab (10 frames) since jdcr is being greedy and using it over and over jeonding can use anything between 10-16 frames. So a launcher or a jab string or a 12 frame move etc but it's of course risky regardless to hit on plus frames .
Honestly the issue I have with him is it sometimes feels impossible to tell what he is doing. The line between high, mid, low is so blurry that blocking or countering feels like luck sometimes.
