@@BigJohn303 go back and look at his ultimate jutsu from when he was a guest character in the game, then look at the RA from 8, there's a clear reference to it.
@@dylaroo24ye seeing Kazuya hell sweep then get himself knocked down by the Rage Art only to see him stand up next screen, pummeled down by Leroy, and lastly stand up again for the one inch finisher
Even though Heihachi is literally no better than Kazuya, and was the one who set him on that destructive path in the first place? Not a good comparison. Lars actually wants to *protect* and *save* the world. Heihachi didn't. That's the difference.
Man me and my little sister play Asuka and Lily so it's actually so nice to see their rivalry being properly shown through gameplay. I know most people hate their rivalry cause it's detracting from the main story but it's a weirdly nice thing for us lol
People hate that rivalry because it changes what they expected from the character, Asuka appears first in Tekken 5 and Lili shows up later on the PSP port of the game so the first impression was that Asuka was going to help Jin with his Devil Gen since Kazamas can contain the devil gen but after Lili shows up every interaction of Asuka has been a pointless fight to another. Tldr she was introduced as a relative to the main character, offered a role in the story and end up just goofing around with Hannah Montana
@@13Kr4zYAzN13 Lili does like Asuka as a rival and it's her only way to show her acknowledgement to her. Also, if Asuka's ending in Tekken 7 where she won against Lili, that means Lili did bought the dojo and became roommate with her rival, which, honestly is quite a trope.
While I'd like more stuff between the Kazamas just as much as anyone else, Asuka and Lili's relationship is also great. In a perfect world, we could have it all, but oh well.
And here I thought Leroy couldn’t get any cooler, I end up hearing the pure rage, disdain, hatred of more than 50 years of pent up frustration and anger come out in his rage art against Kazuya at 0:25. XD It’s no wonder Leroy is covered in gold because every time he appears or has dialogue, He IS Gold! XD
@@wanted2657paul probably just in his rivalry times but it will spike really fast in T8 hopefully. For lee.....he's too chill he doesn't have any vendeta against kazuya just that he wants to side with good guy.
If I'm not wrong "star of destruction" refers to either the morningstar (Lucifer) or eveningstar (Satan) which obviously correlates with Kazuya being Devil.
Imagine if Hwoarang, Lars, Claudio, Jun and Xiaoyu all realized that all they have to do is team up together with everyone else who hates Jin and Kaz. Maybe with Zafina as well
I'm starting to think that Leroy was similar to Luke from Street Fighter, he's a Tekken 8 character that got some pre-spotlight in the game at the time.
I mean, yeah. He's one of the two people in the world causing massive pain & destruction for everyone for funsies, and the other person who caused as much suffering is dead now.
@@KoJIJokyjin's goal was to kill a monster azazel but his execution was really bad, making WW3 is too much so he has a sins to redeem while being protagonist he will encounter many character who still has vendeta against him like miguel if he comes in T8.
yeah i get it but he indirectly caused lots of meaningless deaths with the war, even if it was for a "good cause" (defeat a greater evil). This is why people's opinions on Jin started changing overtime@@zmkatsu4885
The subs are always bad in this, for example, Claudio says "shine sirius, purify the world of the evil" Nothing related to star of destruction. I wonder if the rest of the cast except for leroy, are saying the same that is read in the subs.
Tbf it's probably more for dramatic emphasis. Imo Purify this star of destruction sounds better than the purify the world of evil. Tekken isn't exactly known for great translation or great writing anyway *cough* Tekken 7. Besides, listening to Claudio say anything is magical, Italian is truly a beautiful language
claudio actually says : risplendi sirio/shine sirius purifica il mondo dal male/ cleanse the world from evil some of the translations with italian are a bit iffy
There's one more for Leroy and Kazuya Leroy: Say your prayers! Servant of evil, your time has come! I just realized you figured that out already, hense changing the subtitles.
0:05, okay soo that explains Asuka cleansing Jin or waking him up after tekken 5 Jin’s or asuka’s ending before Jin well passes out again after a… Interesting interaction
When Jun unalive someone with her Rage Art, she says "what an empty dream". But she says "hakanai Monane" (I guess it's like that) but the translation to Japanese is wrong I think. Has someone a clue what she's actually saying ? I mean in Japanese
