Lili with Salt on her arm is adorable and im super tempted to try her out now. Also love how King keeps moving keeping in line with his Cruiserweight wrestling style (even though he's got more meat on him than a IFBB sponsored butcher)
Glad to see the in-game models as the base for character selection again. Really shows how far Bandai has come with the Tekken franchise. Can't say I'm feelin the theme though, but it might just grow on me once I hear a louder & clearer version. Even though the selection screen is a bit simplified, I'd say it works pretty well for a next gen ( or in this case a current gen ) fighting game. Now all I need to see is the customization. It's gotta be better than T7's. It would also be nice to see an offline mode that is similar to Tekken Force ( T3 & T4 ) or Scenario Campaign. ( T6 )
We're finally getting official heights for each character. Nina is no longer listed at 5'3'', but she's still shorter than I expected at 5'6''. Wonder if her sister is taller or smaller?
I know it's only a small thing, but I really like the fact they list each character's info and fighting style. (Now we just need Bob and Kuma to get confirmation on how heavy they really are!) I think for newer players this will make picking a character more exciting, as they choose fighting styles they are familiar with. One thing, though. Nationality= Japanese, Chinese, American, etc. Why does it list the country instead of the nationality? Bit of a nitpick, I know...
@@Sang_Akrobatis They're referring to how they are not using the actual term you call people from different countries. The game states the country rather than the person's nationality. For example, even though Lily is from Ireland, the Nationality is supposed to state "Irish" instead.
@@Sang_Akrobatis Nationality and country of origin/citizenship are absolutely linked, but won't be the same. My country of origin/citizenship is Britain, making my nationality British. Your nationality would be Indonesian, not Indonesia.
Wow, lots of room for additional characters! Need a microscope to see this base roster, lol! 🧐 Looks like it takes a while for each character model to load though. Hope it speeds up in the final release. 🤷♂️
Yea not the biggest fan of this song on the select screen, not the sound i was thinking…also the background is a little blah but hey we’ll see if it grows on me
the only thing i'm stuck with in this whole video is jin's being 87 kilos ._. (he is heavier than kazuya with only 2 , with hwoarang...come on he is heavier than his mother! dont wanna talk about the other characters)also, he is taller than kazuya lol.
I was bored so I ranked the weight of each fighter in this video 16th: Xiaoyu - 49 kg 15th: Nina - 56 kg 14th: Asuka - 57 kg 13th: Jun - 57 kg 12th: Lili - 59 kg 11th: Leroy - 77 kg 10th: Hwoarang - 80 kg 9th: Claudio - 80 kg 8th: Law - 80 kg 7th: Lars - 85 kg 6th: Kazuya - 85 kg 5th: Jin - 87kg 4th: Bryan - 87kg 3rd: Paul - 95 2nd: King 147 - kg 1st: Jack-8 400 kgw My opinion: - Bryan should be heavier, isn't he a cyborg? Shouldn't some of his insides be metal. Correct me if I'm wrong. - Lili is the thiccest of the women so far. - Leroy's weight is surprising. - Xiaoyu's weight is not surprising, hopefully no one beats her weight.
From the way I see it, the fact they introduced the manifestations of animated character intros in the select screen similar to that found in Mortal Kombat X and 11 is what intrigues me. Hell, even Street Fighter 6 is following the trend Ed Boon has made. However, they didn’t took the character interactions scene feature that is now a current staple to these 2 said games.
I'm still skeptic about Pauls fighting style.....judo is only grappling and no strike....and guy hits like a truck...karate or kickboxing mixed with judo would make sense.....but still a badass despite his age....and why law is martial arts and not Jeet Kune do
@@IrishKyokushin aaaah.....one of those self proclaimed orginal guy of mma....true in its own way....i just wish had more ground grappling instead of 1....also proper throw counters....or reversals.....someone tries to throw he turns it around...then that would be judo.....but simplicity i suppose
Saw somebody say this has personality. Uh, where? This is pretty bare bones for a character select screen. The music is pretty dull too. Would really prefer if they just threw in that music from the character reveal trailers, cause this is pretty cheeks. Still excited for the game though.
