I'll also point this out I don't know if it's just me but you got this type of ability to know when to attack I see how even after someone tries to attack you know just what attack is needed to stop someone and keep them on the defense. I feel if you let that become an intuition and let your body control that aspect man you'd be way too scary for anyone.
If you get traded while you use 4 (trade = you both hit each other at the same time) you have enough frames to launch them. There are also some frame traps for that (for example if you are +3 you can use 4 and if they jab you you both trade and then can launch them).
