as a begginer you saying "this move" really doesnt help me. if you could put the inputs on screen or say the name of the move tthatt would be really helpful.
I know I've been playing fighting games a lot main man is a great coach NGL those videos that your looking for there out there but learn what 1 2 3 4 while standing/ while rising get basic terminology of tekken then this video will make sense

@@athyderboss You're right I totally forgot 😆 I played Jin and when he changed his style in Tekken 4 I naturally started playing Kazuya instead since I love that style, 2 was a game I played after 3 so it's foggy to me the whole memory of playing both I played heihachi a bit in both but less than I played Jin in 3 and Kazuya in 2,4 and onwards
They destroyed kazuya in T8, he is weak as fuck. Almost every character has insane pressure and panick moves and if you main kazuya you know you are completely fucked when you have your back to the wall. Hes 50/50 game is weak as fuck and his combos do very little damage compared to other characters. Even T7 kazuya is much much better than T8 kaz... What a shit show ... Btw I'm a Kazuya main since T4
i main kazuya from tekken 1, everyone opponent know what move will kazuya do, so best bet to play him just play safe and , his 50/50 is just his tool,ewgf doesnt seem as good as old tekken,use ff 2 , low mid with waivu, but in this game they force you to play aggressive, hopefully we will see upcoming patch for kazuya , i think his db+1 need some frame advantage 😊
I’ve mained him for decades. He’s got some nice new combos but he just isn’t a threat at high level at the moment. Tournaments will hardly have him competing this time around just like previous ones.
i can't get it to hit either. somehow that ender, which looked easy to do, is the hardest part of the combo to execute for me. i just ended up doing df4 there instead and it always hits for me.
I have like 6 hours on the demo of tekken 8 because I've been a bit tight on money and juat with what little amount of content i have i can say I'm loving this game, can't wait to buy it!!!

If you want to improve your fundamentals sure. But word of advice, go back and play w claudio after you get good with mishimas and you will feel rewarded.
@opsavagecabbage for me personally, after playing with kazuya in 7 and getting him to ruler ranks, my patience improved immensely as well as my movement. It translated to my armor king who I was able to get to fujin, who I had been stuck in suzaku/ mighty ruler with forever.
So true. He is ridiculously difficult for someone that doesn't have enough time to play and practice. then in the end there's characters that take less effort stomping you.

back in tag 2 i would be impressed by his high level combo and stuck with the basic combo, now that i can pewgf i can the do the hard stuff, thanks main man for the teaching, i became a true mishima MASKU
recovery kick or Toe kick can intterupt if u aint comptlely precise with the ff4 input after f4, at worst toekick wins, mostly if u aint fast enough u trade toekick damage with no possible followup combo, i just wanna point it out if u ever have 5 hp left :) i like this kazuya guide, its very easy to understand and entertaining, Thank you, good job showcasing kazuya combos!
I've been consuming your videos for some weeks now and I'm new to tekken. One advice: PLEASE PUT NOTATIONS ON THIS TYPE OF GUIDES. It is VERY difficult for someone knew to keep up with you SAYING the notations of specific moves. Thank you in advance
Ive been playing Kazuya since my first tekken(tekken 7😂) and yall dont understand how BADLY this man carriee me through this character. This mf got me to do 6 ewpg combo just in the 1 year i played. Cant wait to get even better with Kazuya in tekken 8🙏
I wish they gave us option to activate heat when we want, i hate moves force you into heat. They should make it just like heat dash when you press forward it activates. This forcing makes me feel i don’t control heat. I feel they made this for newcommers so the can mash all day not thinking about it plus the asysted controls.
I can't seem to land the ff4 after the f3. Mainman does this combo at 12:20. It always blocks the ff4 and I can't seem to land it. Anyone that can help out?
By default the bot is set to restand (holding up when knocked down) asap. As TMM says, this is the one option ff4 will not outright beat. Set the bot to wake up with any other option to get it to connect
I wish there were more combo guides like this. Most people just post the flashy stuff and don't really say what beginners should be using until they have proper execution for the advanced stuff. I'd love to see one of these for Bryan
I am seriously looking forward to a Kazuya Advanced Guide like the multi part series in Tekken 7. It took my Kazuya to heights I didn't know I could reach at the time. Just the DvK section was mind blowing let alone the tech and combo explanations. The evolution of my wall combos exploded after your guide and it carried through beautifully to Tekken 8. The problem i have isnt the combos its using them in a match. I can cycle his suggest combos even the old 10 hit combos from the 1st tekken tag on ps2 but in a match idk.. more playtime i guess.. havent played tekken since ps2
The max hit he can get in a combo is 12 hits(13 from pewgf), but it's SUPER hard and inconsistent, there is an easier version, but it's only 11 hit and it's whiffs from SSL.
you say "launch" but you forget some of us new players have no idea what kazuya's lauch button even is. at least turn on the button input display for some of the most noob players
i just picked up kazuya how is it possible that i cant wavedash with my main jin but with kazuya i almost do perfect korean stick wavu wavu dashes on a playstation pad
For beginners I think simple yet the most damaging combo would be 2 times ewgf/wgf, df+3,2,1, ff b+2,2,1+2. This can do above 65 DMG pretty easily plus almost impossible to drop.
You should say in advanced combos with EWGFs linking which mores are dash deep dash etc.... if you have to micro dash df12. without your explanation and or command history its impossible to tell.
I've been using 2x ewgf into df 1,2 followed up with 3,1 into Hellsweep punch comes up to 69 to 74 dmg if I get the wall. Is this a good option or should I drop this one?
Hey I'm a new subscriber. I been playing Tekken since Tekken 2 and I still can't master the wave dash smh I have no idea what I'm doing wrong... I been playing Kaz since Tekken tag 2 and still can't get it down
Okay, so I was able to learn all of the 'beginner section' stuff after watching it once because I play SF6 so I sorta understand basics. Should I just practice the beginner combos a shit ton and play online a lot until I feel as though I've plateaued, and THEN move on to the advanced combos? I can't do electrics consistently either yet. Wave dashing is just 'okay' as of right now.
I need help for the basics. When I try to do the first combo after the godfist i press 3 but my kick do not connect most of the time and if I press 1 and 4 right after 3 the character doesn't give imputs. It's like if he needs to put the foot down after the first kick to do another imput. It's slow as F***!! What am I doing wrong?
