I love how Kaz's heat engages the devil form in a natural way that doesn't feel broken, since other characters have heat forms as well, but is unique to his character lore and design. Amazing stuff.
@@ScarletGensokyo11961 i mean generally heat is just about extending your combos and making some of your moves really feel impactful via more hyper armors for turning the tide in your favor
@@NYG5 can't wait to finally own tekken 8, a brokie like me is stuck watching videos, but the tekken 7 experience will carry me I think when I do. How are you guys okay with 3 electrics, no bound? I'd be pissed about that, that's what I do everytime. His combos look kinda meh here, the 34 cancel just look like a fancier jab float but I haven't played it yet so whatever.
Every now and then I get this slight anxiety attack when I see TMM in Red Ranks, and how it could be any second he too will put me on display to teach the whole world my bad habits. Then I remember Im in America. And we have no bad habits.
Yep. Best Tekken ever as a true fan..... From one to eight, been thru the ups and downs for 20 yrs and more if God's willing. That's why you are da MainMan!! Respect bro.
How do I do the Kazuya heat hellsweep animation cancel thing? Where he doesn't lift them into the air + slam but still gets the third hit from heat? 8:51 for reference 👍
Have you labbed any balcony breaks? I feel like if you are in heat already and used up your bound, just going for the devil cd 1 is pretty good bc it usually catches, does good damage and still leaves you with a good chunk of heat. With bound I usually go for df 321 and end it with either the f4 steel petal tech or a wall carry move like df 1 df 2 or 4.
TOO A AMATEUR 😂 !!!!!! HE IS NO TRUE KAZUYA MASTER !!!! ( NOTHING PERSONAL TRUELY - YOU AND HIM PROBABLY A GREAT PERSON - A RESPECTED CHILD OF GOD ) !!!!!
@@ShayzenDG No he entertaining but even he knows he's an amateur his skills are very weak in comparison to true fighting Players GODS THAT CAN SMASH HIM IN 15 SECS - I KNOW PLAYERS THAT CAN SMASH HIM QUICKLY!!!!! #SKILLSUPGRADE (NOT PERSONAL - SPORTSMANSHIP - PS5 I CANT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON HIM ) !!!!! #KazuyaKing IF IT TOOK U 25 YEARS TO PLAY KAZUYA THE WAY U DO U ARE TRUELY TRASH #SKILLSBETTER☝️
I have to say the ranks seem to have settled and now you get actual players at Shinryu and above. Players are a lot tighter on this level with better space control and awareness of spacing. I hit a wall at this point because I keep playing like it's Tekken 7 where EWGF, db2, ss3 all had good tracking, and they keep blowing up my whiffs really well.
Jin used to be broken in Tekken 4, 5 through 7 he wasn't as good but Tekken 8 he is beyond busted imo. Like the characters you should main are Jin, Kazuya, Bryan, Yoshimitsu, Law and Hwoarang because they are the only characters that make it into most Tekken games. Oh and obviously Jack.. How'd I forget that stupid character. Bryan Mains actually got shafted, if you played Bryan any time before Tekken 5 (Before taunt jet upper) he was great and more balanced around understanding the character, the rest of his kit got absolutely shit on and was balanced solely around "can you do taunt- input command" if no, don't play Bryan anymore. Similar to Kazuya, if you can't do perfect just frame electric don't play Kazuya. These 2 characters need a rework, Jin is one of the few characters in the game that allows you to use the entire moveset rather than "just press electric, oh you hit electric, press more electric it's your staple damage" TL:DR Kazuya and Bryan are literally 1 button trick ponies and need reworking. Like try to tell me how to play these 2 characters without them at a decent elo. Please don't say snake edge and hellsweep.
Insane game play 🔥🔥🔥 I’m new to Tekken and I’m learning Kazuya. People say he’s bad but I enjoy playing the character . You do the electric wind god fist like it’s nothing. I struggle to even do it twice in a row lol! And that’s in training mode 😅😂
29 years. It literally is nothing. Dude has been living and breathing Tekken longer than most of us have been alive. To say it's muscle memory is an understatement. Like to him, something impressive must be creative and hard to pull off that you don't normally see even at his skill level.
Straight up, no bullshit, hwaorang has been my favorite character since t3, but the playstyle that I've been trying to develop in every fighting I game, with street fighter being the main game I usually play. Take a rushdown or offensive character and play very passive with that character. The way you're playing kazuya here is goal levels. Kazuya has been one of those characters I've wanted to try out for a long time, and you got me contemplating here. Yes, I can try to develop my hwaorang in a similar fashion, and I know he oozes damage, but when you got a Fucker like kazyua hitting people like grown ass men, you got me thinking some things here 😅😂. Great video. The set against that victor player was good shit. Stay blessed. Edit: The fight with jin was even better 😅😂
Lots of people saying Kazuya is mid to low tier but watching you play him makes seem pretty cracked. Its what I love about Tekken honestly anything can work with enough matchup knowledge and execution
Im understanding how to do electrics as i watch tmm more and more im able to do them a little more consistent online im new to Tekken and been practicing Reina awhile i refuse to play her without electrics but im realizing theres actually a rhythm to doings them
Found ya !! 🤪.. Show me that true Mishima Style Karate.. 💯 2:55 Damn i miss playing Tekken ranked matches.. 23:10 Facts , that took a while for me to learn.. But once you do and start to incorporate his entire skill set.. We get what were viewing right now 😂..
Kazuya is really hard to play I'm curently stuck in shiryu rank. I'm current trying to learn how to do iws 2 or 1+2 its really complicated to do on pad.
Hey main man! I was wondering if you think we will ever get tekken on a Nintendo console? Since Kazuya is in smash maybe that would open future possibilities
No way. Stop it. Nintendo Switch is terrible and the performance is god awful, see MK1. Devs need to stop wasting time on previous gen let alone Switch Ports
Why would Mainman answer this bullshit of a question. Let alone switch is garbage for this type of games. Smash looks like gold, mk1 looks like serious ass
Sometimes with my Kazuya I feel I'm going backwards. One day I feel good about the way I play then the next I'm fumbling electrics. Start losing to people I know I should be beating like spammer green rank Asukas. Is there anything in practice mode that can help me? (I don't know how to use practice properly)
When you get smoked by things you dont understand just go watch the replays. I struggle with Asukas because while they aren't the rarest characters, they're very seldomly seen and the evasiveness just kills Kazuya when you don't get what's going on.
Damn that's impressive, not very inviting tho hahaha I'm currently on the fece, I love Tekken but can't decide if I really want to jump onto the online train.
Df3,2, 1 (hold the 1). You have different levels of holding the one as well, since you can just press 1 for the original string, hold all the way for the chargeup, or hold a little bit and release for a delayed 1.
True but with a game and char like Kazuya, TMM is at the top % of Kazuyas excluding pros. It's almost necessary to use his that effectively and defend vs the whole cast
And many peoples first tekkne is this one, or maybe tekken 7. My first was tekken 3 so for long time players I'll block and launch you 100%. Most players at red and above are going to be the ones who've been with this game forever
when i started playing Tekken 8 I wondered why you don't loose any ranked points and some people said you will start loosing points when you reach warrior, but he is tenryu and isn't loosing any points. For example at 46:52
I find it easier against Ling here. May be cause I am better relatively to how I was in T7. Today I 2/0'd a Ling. First time in my life. xD For red ranks just try to get reads on the back stance snake edge. They be spamming that shit.
I am i ling main and im about to hit fujin if played her for over 15years i think she is weaker in t8 compared to the other characters in de game. In tekken 7 her poke game was way better. But the madeup for it with her 50/50stance
it literally is hell... ive been fighting some xiaos surprisingly coming up on the ranks. I hate the ppl that pick these lame blue moon characters just for me to forget the matchup since its been so long and get destroyed by xiao mash
Same, i know the input for ewgf but for the life of me can't seem to get that down df input right on ps4 pad, it's like 15% of the time ewgf and the rest just wgf.
Cause you guys probably just idiots. No joke. I have a friend and i can explain like for hours he wouldnt get it either. Df+2 simultaneously. Think like you are pressing 2 before df. It helps really much.
@@aqua9938 Idk about the other dude but in my case it was actually my crappy pad messing up the input lmao, switched to a new one and stopped getting an extra df before 2, it wasn't as hard as i thought i was just getting super inconsistent inputs like 70% of the time.
@@09DrdrayHe did beat Arslan Ash recently on ranked, even in crazy lag which should be affecting him more as a Kaz player Ig Kaz having more tools might bring TMM up
@@oneofthekindscarf8612 TMM is just a really good player in general hes always been that good. Arslan Ash was playing a new character not his main and the lag also makes it hard for Ash. Im not saying TMM is bad i just dont think its fair to say he looks like hes playing better because hes beating up a bunch of scrubs online. Again, TMM is a very good player regardless.
"this guy's like a tekken god prime" as TMM said, yeah that Garyu jin was punching way above his weight class, awesome player EDIT: Leodes92 is his name, damn good player
Hello Mainman, Could you maybe do a video on how to properly and efficiently lab an opponent character in Tekken 8? It would help me and others alot Please Have a nice day
