Yeah the development team is not very proactive tbh. I think its a good patch but DJ got shafted and they gave Kazuya a lot of good buffs and fixes but I would trade a decent heat burst for one of those buffs.
@@dred4202Jin's nerf isn't even that bad. The fact that you don't have the Holy Spirit extending ff2's hitbox is the end of Jin for you speaks volumes about your playstyle
I don't understand why they keep nerfing Devil Jin. Not many players play Devil Jin right now, but they keep nerfing him. Harada, forget about your Feng and BUFF Devil Jin already.
@user-hf2zi8bk6r Exactly! Devil jin has bunch of good moves like b4, df1, bf21, ws2, ws1, ewgf which he can do from a wavedash to close the neutral. I don't need those braindead mourning crow setups to steal wins.
You forgot all important nerfs for Reina Doesn’t have high crush on a lot of her moves. Most notably fcdf4. Basically she can’t do cheese high crush setups anymore because she just gets jabbed out. The other one is reduced ff2 tracking. And it can be side step to right [ smaller characters can do in both side ] However she is still standing up pretty strong,
jin cant do ff2 after hellsweep anymore(regardless of how they wake up). if they wake up backwards(the way ff2 would be able to hit guaranteed before), the move will just go into their body without doing anything.
df3, 2, 1 on kazuya was so fucked. worked fine for a long time then a patch came and suddenly I wasn't able to charge the third hit. my staple combo got fucked up (and probably damage of it too).
I knew the Kazuya mains were going to be eating this patch and I'm very happy to have picked up the character in this game. The nerfs to Jin don't bother me, I still need to pick up Reina, and Devil Jin needs to be fixed. Thanks for the video, Devilster!!
Its cool that you can parry heatburst now with jin but the nerfs seem drastic imo. Im not even good at ewgf but Its part of what makes mishimas so skillfull. removing that seems unhealthy for jin as a character. Question: In t7 jin could parry RA but can he do it in t8? everytime I tried I got hit by it
No, you can’t parry RA or heat smashes. I got bodied a ton at launch because I tried it lol. You also can’t parry unblockables, charge attacks and a bunch of other things
You cannot. In the 1.05 general changes section they line out what can be parried and what can't under "Strong Attack Reversal" and "Strong Parry" section. "They are ineffective against moves with reversal break effects (Rage Arts, Heat Smash, Power Crush immediately after a successful intercept, and some unique moves.)" Jin's b1+3 parry falls under the Strong Parry property.
@@nurdauletpolatbek2681nobody complains about neutral nerfs, the problems with everything else that got touched. Not only combo routes are weakened, even oki got heavily damaged by demon paw nerf
I think u missed somthing I got back to the game after like a month of not playing and suddenly i feel like jin's jab 1 isn't the same range anymore is it right or i just got worse?
@@edgelord121I did some lab, did the triple electrics pretty much like in T7, but didn't manage to connect consistently the df1, 2, and it doesn't seems toi have any microdashes on the video when I check on 0,25 speed. Is there something I'm missing? @edgelord121
@@neskuix3342 it is possible to connect it without microdash too, but then you'd have to do the third electric at the very last frame possible, which is harder than the microdash route in my opinion.
@@edgelord121 still lost after more lab, I tried on T7 to see if I lost my execution, but it was still consistent, and if i try to imput the slightest micro dash possible before the df1 2, at best it resets the combo. So i'm just gonna wait for a detailed breakdown on his new combos and hope i get the thing😵
I can't wait to try out 1.05 Jin. I do know if you delay the 2 after ff you gain more distance at the loss of speed, wonder if that makes his 1.04 ff2 combos possible..
New optimal EWHF route is EWHF -> SSR EWHF/(1-2-)4 -> b3f1 -> microdash b3f1 -> heatburst -> deepdash buffered 3-1f -> zen 2 f -> ff4/fff3. Still less damage tho Btw ff2 nerf also heavily hit hellsweep oki. Now you gotta lab it against every character, and even than it doesn't work on 6 is them lmao. Bumco didn't think this nerf through

Yeah the grab on the sentai 1 and 2 is a little crazy. What do you do now if someone blocks that powercrush because the only way to get out was scare your opponent with the delay, but now you just gotta take a grab.

Im so tired of nerfing people or buffing people because of twitter posts. Like have the devs played their game? You should know whats broken or messed up. Lets take a character on life support and nerf him more. Even though it wont affect the whole of the game
These nerfs were undeserved. It's only because of tmmswe kept biting about it and Tekken Devs have started following his guide. Jins never been a top 10 character. You CBM Book Knee Arsenality execute Jin 110% but always end up at best in top 8. Nowhere near Drag Feng Lilly Nina consistently top 5 levels of strong.

I swear to god I never understood why you couldn’t parry heat burst or whatever. It took me so long to understand ur just not allowed to do it it’s unfair to be forced to take that parrying it when u know it’s coming is how it should be
