Saw a couple people say similar things but I love how much Down Back 2 there is in these combos. It was my favorite move in 7 and still is in this. Love the counter hit animation and the way it juggles. Sick video. Totally stealing some of these combos. I was worried that this game would be too crazy or whatever, but should've had faith that they knew what they were doing. Insanely fun game and after trying like have the cast everyone is super fun to play.

It’s not just doing combos but skill ceiling for this character is really really up there. Requires perfect execution for butterfly loops, sidestepping correctly etc… I’m in the process of learning the butterfly loops but might take me years as it did dragunov ‘s cdc wall carries

db2 is to die for, I'm loving it so much ♥

thx for the video :) im happy to see the double uf4 after qcf1 ch. honestly i struggle a bit with the new combos but thats only because im to greedy. in T7 ninas max dmg combos became my staple but the new db2 combos really are a tough. but im happy for the challenge to make these max dmg combos my staples :) btw 02:47 - 02:49 you can hit qcf2 too you just have to instant dash before you do it. more dmg and better oki because of flipover.

Insane damage but that db2 db3+4 link is just brutal. I wonder if we will ever see someone pull these off in a tournament

So I've noticed recently when trading on f+3 that for some amount of frames the opponent is actually standing. Tried it just now in training mode with a Nina dummy doing d/f+1 into d/f+1, then trading with f+3 after blocking the first d/f+1 that you can actually get whatever launcher you want afterwards (b+1+4, d/b+3+4, u/f+2,1) for crazy damage! I got 115 damage with a non-max damage combo with heat and no wall splat on open stage from u/f+2,1 and b+1+4.

The opportunity to hit those launches with that guranteed ending looks to strong tbh, always around 95-100 dmg without heat is to crazy

How do you get the DF21, B, into DB2 consistently? I can do it about 90% of the time but drop it occasionally to the point I'm not sure if I want to make it my staple. What's the best way to input it? Atm I'm doing DF21, then holding DB straight after and either timing the 2 or mashing it - is the a better way? Also wondering if there's a trick to landing DB3+4 screw after the double DF21,B,DB2's. Can see a micro dash there but majority of the time I do the same it whiffs? Great vid btw

Sorry guys! unforturnately these combos are too impractical to be called BNB. the DB2 seems to miss more often than not to be trying in the heat of a match.

Do you think some of the df3,2 db2 routes are stapleable? I was practicing some the other day and felt like it was really inconsistent but im unsure if that was just not knowong timing or set up, or if it is a pretty situational combo

Do you play on stick, hitbox, or pad? I know these aren’t staples. That said the db2 micro dash into qcb 432 is absurdly hard to me lol

Nice video, but it would have been really nice to include notations. For a noob like me, that would immensely be helpful and reduce the time trying to figure out these combos.

Do these still work? Also i dont think people realize how insane the execution is for all of these combos, i really struggle with landing the 2 QCF1s at the start into butterfly loop and then the last DB2 into micro dash QCF4 3 1+2 .

I can do up to the DF 3 2 into DB 2 but I cant seem to land the DB 3+4 after running forward a bit, any tips? Great video btw thanks for sharing these combos 🙂

I’m trying to pick Nina back up as a sub character and here I am trying some of these juggles and they’re not connecting so I’m assuming she’s nerfed?! I haven’t read her latest patch notes.

Is nina worth it if I cant do iws 1? I can only do butter fly during df3,2 never manage to get iws1 on neutral.

So confused lol, very first combo she does 89 damage off a D2, midscreen, no heat, no rage, no wall. Looks like I need to switch mains.

Wow, amazing skill. I think if you use heat, rage art and stages,walls etc. in some cases 180hp of your opponent it wouldn't be enough. 💪💪🔥🔥
