Im such lowkey fan of you. I retired a while ago because of how weak Steve has become but I was Inbetween orange and red and found you then. Your things I like the most are "Sometimes you gotta get wrecked". Sometimes you really gotta get beat the hell up to learn something new idk why its like that. And also "Know the match up..... How are they going to respond?"
I really like your content and it's one of the only things that doesn't make me quit playing completely. Still, it's often hard to justify (for me) the amount of time the game asks of you vs. what you get out of it, especially when there's always these highly-rated games on Steam on sale that cost less than a DLC character and probably won't regularly piss me off. I also have limited time because of work and children. Makes me wonder if a lot of people just age out of fighting games because life happens.
re: ghosts, it's so funny how the game hypes it up as an objective reflection of ur play, but when i finally unlocked the ability to play mine, it seemed like it only learned from my day 1 gameplay (literally mashing) and completely ignored the gameplan i'd built up since then to knowledge check my way into ruler. also, since i play yoshi, i made a habit of starting at least one round per match by mashing spinning teleport until he got dizzy (for laughs and to train the bot). the ghost didnt do that ONCE. some of the roundstarts it used instead were ones i had never done once. super disappointing, i was hoping they'd at least work well enough for memes
This is my first Tekken . Picked up Steve Fox since I’m a fan of boxing , eveyone saying he was weak just makes me feel happier when I win with him . I got him to red ranks and I’m only Going up 👌😋
i have a different problem where i’m winning a lot but not having much fun doing so. coming from tekken 7 combo routes seem less diverse and the gameplay has been simplified immensely. we’ll see how the next patch goes im excited!
Why are ghosts soo baaadd??😭 I have an anxiety disorder that I’m trying to work through so I can only play online so much but I’m determines to get better. I’ve deleted my Tekken save to reset my ghost TWICE now because she keeps switching to special style and doing weird shit. I’ve removed the friggin special style button so I have no idea what that’s about *lies in puddle of tears*
Ghosts are pretty cool if you need help with dealing with certain moves and strats. I notice people think if you can beat ghosts, you can beat the actual player 😂
