I really don’t understand why people want yoshimitsu nerfed, he’s NOT easy to use. He’s good for sure! Great in a skilled players hands. But could anybody pick him up and be successful? I wholeheartedly disagree!
He's piss easy to use. As a former yoshimitsu main, it's possible to flowchart your way up to purple/blue ranks while learning next to nothing about the game and/or different matchups (I did this) you could make the argument that rank means nothing yeah but my point is a that a really belligerent yoshi spamming flash at -5 and spinning away at the slightest inconvenience will get very pretty far scamming wins left and right.
Naw the flight changes are crazy. On heat burst you can do the spin 3 times and its PLUS 11 on block. Am I the only who thinks thats crazy?? I mean Im not gonna complain but holy my friends are gonna hate me😂
@@mibbzx1493Thing is Yoshi has mixups out of dragonfly stance so for example if you condition them to fear the mid kick if they’ve been trying to duck they’ll start to avoid ducking and you can take advantage of the spin attack’s plus frames.
All the IND stance transitions combined with the homing IND 3+4 is real nice. Also i didn't know u could just hold KIN F1 i've been spamming 1 LOL u learn something new everyday.
fc df4 being +4 on hit never made sense to me. id hit it then go for a ws4 but it always felt like i was getting beat out everytime. fc df4 into ind is sick, that ind 3+4 right after will be killer.
Perhaps you are misunderstanding what’s going on somewhere. If you land fcdf4 and go for ws4 it’s guaranteed. I don’t know how all the new stuff works honestly but in tekken always the way to beat your fcdf4 into ws4 was sidestep and punish or backdash(I think ?) and punish. I don’t play much anymore but yeah. Perhaps the heat nut hurst or whatever may beat your ws4 and maybe a power crush , not too sure , from what I played I don’t have this issue with Jin d2 is +4 too
I was hope some buff in your powercrush, your powercrush is junk compared to many other chars. Eddy spamming it all the time. T7 powercrush was so better
This new FCDF4 transition being added makes his pressure and mix game significantly better, paired with his unique defense and rule breaking, yeah hes incredibly fucked and honestly likely top 5 now. Depending on who you play this matchup is either a nightmare, or its a bit more even. Its also one of the most complicated matchups in the game and if he was shit you and 90% of the playerbase would still lose to him all the time because this character can be incredibly random. Try your ABSOLUTE best to adapt to flowcharts, no Yoshi player is perfect especially under TG, so they tend to be very flowcharty Learn when youre +4 Flowchart yourself, do slash kicks or plus on hit lows into hopkicks, get a lifelead and run away, keep offense airtight, you can beat them, i promise! The Yoshi community dishes no shame to people who cant deal with this matchup. You will get blown up. But if its worth anything to you, i believe you can overcome the tierlist AND the matchup and teach the shitters their place.
I totally thought they were going to nerf him this patch, but happy with these changes and giving us the KIN d1 cancel back! Having IND 3+4 as a homing move is super slick as well
Nice QoL changes for Yoshi, very interesting KINd1 cancel and FCdf4 +8fr into indian stance which in turn was made more reactive (but not spammable because its easy to read and -26 on block 😅) I think that in case of ch FC df4,d3+4 in case of transition into Indian stance the best combo is lost or am I wrong? ch FC df4, d3+4, 3+4u,2,2~4,ssr,3~4u,f1+2
@@hakageryu-hz7jz don't forget to talk about 50/50 like 3,1 and 3,2,1+2 like if you duck you lose 23% HP, you don't want to duck? you're exposed to the 3.1 which is +7 in guard so it's always your turn, oh and he has an unbreakable throw after his 3,1 which breaks the ground, oh and he has i10 1,1 which can wall splat/break flash which comes out in i6 which can interrupt and guarantees b2,2 into heat (heat which stagger yourself) and without sword it's i8, has big range, heal yourself and launch ah and hitbox of d 1+2 is broken so you can hit ennemy since namek, other things maybe ? i can talk about db 1+2 too if you want KEKW
@@mibbzx1493 this move alone allows you to completely disregard your +frames. This reversal in no circumstances should reward you with a full combo. Should be more in line with the other reversals where you get guaranteed damage.
@@henrynguyen4315 in tekken 7 you did the full combo here only if you have heat active, but it's a move that Yoshimitsu has always had, there's no point in making it even weaker, against players who mash buttons at random it can be useful but as soon as you start playing against people barely good if you use the flash badly you're a dead Yoshimitsu (flash is not a move to be considered a parry or reversal in any case)
@@DarkLess89X its used defensively so yeah i would class this as a reversal type move (the game itself even considers it as a reversal move, if you get thrown then its inescapable - same like if you throw asuka out of her reversal attempt) and having it not launch and instead give the guaranteed follow up b+2,2 is decent. I acknowledge the risk of misusing it, its the same risk as any other reversal like leroys parry, jun/asukas reversal, jins parry etc where if you make the wrong read then yeah youre fucked.
