Oh for sure not only her design looks gorgeous but her fighting ability too from what I played in Tekken 7 and it seems she to be just as strong fun 🤩 and awesome in this game .😍❤️❤️💪🏽
Bringing in Azazeal is one of the coolest choices they've made, Made her a modern version of the unknown character in some ways. I never thought much of Zafina before but now I'm hooked

Her and Azazel's existence are proof that Jin committing mass genocide like a particular historical tyrant was in-fact canon and BN's gonna have to acknowledge it at some point. 😅

Zanifa is an Egyptian character, and as an Egyptian she is my favorite i love her combat style, and glad Azazel isn't forgetten she actually hold his power
What I really like about this trailer it's the fact they saved all bout original caracters like their moves and appearance. She is still has same face as I used to play on my old PSP and all my favorite moves. Big respect
I do like how Zafina canonically has Azazel's power within her. I say this because I wasn't aware of her lore as a DLC character in 7 and I haven't played since 6. Her special attack looks sick!
It's cause in 6, Jin *technically* killed Azazel, but since he can't actually full alt-f4, they had to seal him again, so that seal is Zafina's left arm. Another thing to consider is both her and Claudio debuted in T7. The more you know ;)
As always, Zafina movesets and skills are very scary. And now she's got an even bigger boost with Azazel's power hand. This is going to be fun. Get Ready For Tekken 8!!!
The new Azazel attacks do come at a health expense kind of like with a few of Jun's attacks when she is not in Heat. Will make her gameplay rather unique though.
I always loved Zafina since T6 but I’ve never play her more seriously since I have the potential to learn her even more. I can’t wait to try her in T8.
Zafina is bit of a legacy character since her debut in Tekken 6. Leroy was the only new original DLC character from Tekken 7 to make base roster but in yeah in general they are the only DLC characters for T7 added to base roster for Tekken 8.
@@LoneTaurus82 oh that's weird how did Zafina went from being a normal character in Tekken 6 for the base roster to being a DLC character in Tekken 7 then went back to being a base roster character for this game

My Egyptian goddess! She looks so cool and beautiful as always. Love her facial expressions too. She probably has the most facial expressions out of all the female characters in the game lol
I fell in love with Zafina since the first time I saw her in Tekken 6, she is so gorgeous. And now she's fighting to hold the Azazel's power, Zafina is beautiful and more deadly than before! 🖤🥀

Been dying for Zafina's trailer for so long!! That new WS3 into SCR into the B 1+2 looks nasty!! Although it is a nerf not having that in neutral anymore. Can't wait to lab her in practice day one!!
Just when I thought Tekken couldn't give me anymore reason to like Zafina even more... also, nice seeing Azazel again. Somewhat. Zafina being half monster kinda has that final boss vibe
I always liked Zafina but incorporating Azazel into her design (and the competitive successes she had in T7) really brought a lot of new fans to a previously unpopular character. Ya love to see it. :)
I was thinking this as well. Harada always wanted her to be a successful character. Glad him and devs didn't scrap her. Expanding on the Azazel lore for her made way to much sense to just shelve going into Tekken 8. Seem like they planned her inclusion all along by her special orb fortune reading intro with Claudio in Tekken 7 where she says' "You have the power to destroy the devil!"
She will become friend with Claudio and Xiao in the Main story, also his phrase in the character select screen "Guided by the Stars" refers to Sirius Marksman.
Zafina feels like she's fighting a disease like Azazel's power taking over her body. Hard for her to suppress it. Just like Jin having the devil gene, he hates having it because it's also like a disease he has to carry and it's also very difficult to suppress.
@@YouAlreadyKnowBabishe has one of the Best animations in Tekken and probably one of the Best animations of any fighting game characters. Why do You think Namco needs better animators?
@@cosmedcartonStreet Fighter 6's animations look way smoother, though it's partly because characters have less moves there too. But yeah, Tekken 8 animations look PS3-4 level at best.
i haven’t been catching up with Tekken but i randomly stumbled upon this and i just find it so so so cool that Azazel is still being mentioned lol. i remember that boss battle so vividly so it’s so awesome to see the lore being reinstated. might have to pick this up when it comes out lols
She doesn't require that much but you do have to stay committed to her to build muscle memory in order to get comortable in her stances. Knowing how to adapt with each one in a match makes her gameplay fun and dynamic to me. You can't just mash out strings with her to win like other characters.
Her stances have been nerfed a bit compared to T7 but they wanted to showcase the Azazel attacks to play them up for the masses a bit. Seems to have many interested in trying her more which is a good thing.
@@nrolling7192 not really no, she is still very evasive and has plenty of transitions. People are going off the cracked cbt/demo and hands on where people grabbed the movelists, which is not the final build as new moves have appeared since. Some of Zafinas frame data shows she is a bit less safe but still very evasive.
@@MrMooMoo088You're not wrong there could be some differences in final version but it were alot of missing strings she had in her stances from her movelist video. You would have to be a Zafina main to pick up on alot of the minor tid bit nerfs but I know they have universally done that to most of the cast in T8 coming off T7.
That's really cool Zafina became the host of Azazel somehow, she is now facing her very own demons. I hope she'll have some room in the story ! I also think it adds A LOT of visual and fighting style, this is also a very good idea to keep Azazel in the track of the storyline ! Good job !
Zafina has great evasion tools, and mix ups that do not do a lot of damage, yet leave Zafina in an acceptable situation most of the time both on hit and block. Zafina has a lot of space for stylish play with some truly horrendous moves while still being a solid character from a fundamentals stand-point.
Now that Zafina is in Tekken 8, I wonder if they're going to put Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria in the roster as well. Two girls with a demon claw in their left arm each. I'm pretty sure it will be an interesting match...
Would be so coowl if the entire visage of Azazel appears in her critical arts, not just his hands. At the end of the move, she sighs in relief that she's managed to contain him still.
With some changes and a good story and graphic design I can imagine Zafina being a very important character in the story or even a very cool final boss.
