G'day guys. Finally bought myself a second hand Tekno MT410 after wanting one for over a year and better still, it was only 10min from where I live. Has a heap of upgrades already and has been hardly used. Took it out today for its maiden run and you gotta see how it ran, was a heap of fun.
The wind and flies were particularly bad today so I’m really sorry about the wind noise. I have ordered a mic that will hopefully help with this issue for future videos.

I own over 20 rc's....I run them all...my Mt410 is still my favorite...No V2's or V3's...just an older truck that's still the best..only thing broken and/or changed was servo horn and body mounts..

Wow that things running good really got me excited I have a spektrum 4274 1900kv motor an a firma150 this same set up works amazing in my typhon 6s v5

Thanks mate. Yeah it came out of my dead Cheetah from around 3 yrs ago lol. It’s been sitting on my shelf for that long so I thought…meh, why not and man it surprised me mate. They really are a great motor. Really happy with it. 😎👊🏼

Nice One, Dave. Delighted youre as pleased with yours as I am with mine. Almost immediately I swapped to use the Arrma captive bodypins and theyre working out great. Im on a 19t pinion which seems fine with UK weather but should be ok over there too, are you're using a decent fan set up. However, watching your video, its far from slow on 15t with that motor/esc combo. I run mostly on grass and 14t was a bit sluggish with a Max/2200kv. No such issues now on the bigger pinion.

Thanks so much Patrick I appreciate your comment brother. Yeah mate I absolutely love it. I was thinking of going to 19T but you’re right mate she flys with the 15T because it’s a 2500kv. I will try the 19T to give it more air control and flipping power but for now I just need to get use to how she runs. It’s starting to heat up over here so I’m hoping the fans will keep it cool. Awesome bash!! My Proline body locking screws also kept popping out. i had to give up on them sadly. They are great for runs; they dont hold up to jumps at all; the body just pushes them off and they take the nut inside along! :(

Thanks so much brother. Oh man you’re so right there. When I got home I used some Arrma body posts and modified them to fit the rears and they look beefy as. I’ve gone back to the body pins. 😎👊🏼

You need to run 17 tooth pinion with 2200kv works perfect. Are you running stock diff fluid in front an middle diff?

Thanks for the comment Jeff. I put the motor and ESC in that I had lying around and a spare 15T too. I agree with you suggestion and will look to that option if anything burns out but so far so good. I feel the “thrown together” setup is working surprisingly well. As for the diff fluids, I have no idea what they are as I bought it second hand and will have to play by ear once I pull it down to service it. All I can feel is the center diff has quite a thicker fluid. Perhaps a 300-500k.
