1.The reason for Tamilrockers going away was Amazon's DMCA request. 2.In one sense it was piracy but on the other hand , we don't have proper access ( india ) so i couldn't watch a lot of stuff in uncompressed files ! I watched k-10 in aha , I also have a Spotify premium, Netflix, Disney Plus but my Plex server is way better for me. Some random take downs and other issues ., Like i couldn't find movies like Aayutha eluthu in Tamil / Ratha sarithram / 1986 vikram etc., Is nowhere to be found. Even in Spotify due to copyright claims Veppam songs are not available the album is there but you couldn't play ! Try it ! I think they are here to stay in one form or another., I'll pay for services but at the same I'll seed back whatever I could!

Whatever you said about peer to peer network and centralised network is 100% true. I believe people are preferring centralised network(telegram is centralised) over peer to peer. Think for a second how many times have you(or me in this case) have seeded a piece of content when downloading or streaming from a peer to peer content ? A very few people only have done that. To completely delete piracy internet has to be made free. Internet has become a necessity than a luxury. People preferring piracy has a mentality that they are paying for internet and on top that they also have to pay for streaming service which actually doubles up their spending(sometimes). Peer to peer is a good technology and it has a lots of use cases than piracy. If internet is free, piracy in media can further be reduced.
