WPIX's 8 O'Clock Movie intro from 1986...one of their all time bests. Brassy, classy, authoritative

"I love the "WOIO Nineteen" spots!" It's weird I can recall a seeing some of those at the time.

This looks like a partial collection; In the end credits, I'm seeing a lot of things listed that didn't show up here. Was this as is, or is there more?

Interesting to note how ubiquitous computer animation had become by 1986. Darn near every clip here features the exciting "new" visual capacity of early computer animation...lol.

5:55 whoa I didn't know Jim Nantz worked in Salt Lake before CBS!

+Rick K. This had to have been before 1986, because Nantz joined the network's college football coverage in 1985.

The ending music looks just like a theme from "PGA Tour on CBS."

13;40-14:30 reminds me of something either WCVB or WNEV (now WHDH) might've used, but I may be wrong.
