WPIX's 8 O'Clock Movie intro from 1986...one of their all time bests. Brassy, classy, authoritative

"I love the "WOIO Nineteen" spots!" It's weird I can recall a seeing some of those at the time.

This looks like a partial collection; In the end credits, I'm seeing a lot of things listed that didn't show up here. Was this as is, or is there more?

Interesting to note how ubiquitous computer animation had become by 1986. Darn near every clip here features the exciting "new" visual capacity of early computer animation...lol.

that Jim Nantz in Salt Lake City is he the same Jim Natz on CBS that says hello friends when he comes on the air???!!!!...interesting.....was the reason the Statue of Liberty on NBC's news programs was because it was her 100th birthday????!!!!!!!
