@mohibquadri4053, the book list would be endless, I would recommend googling it. But I would say it is difficult to get promoted in 6-8 months because oftentimes it takes a few months to get settled in and that doesn't give you a ton of time to prove yourself. But my recommendation is always to let your direct lead know your interest in promotion, and create a specific plan together to get you there. You will not get promoted if you do not have a plan and you and your lead are not aligned on what it will take to get you there. Ultimately, your success is somewhat dependent on you, but your manager plays a huge role in your career progression. Work for leads that get you and what you deliver because without their support, promotion is difficult. I hope this advice helps!
