Let her go because he knew she wanted her fairy tale and he couldn’t convince himself that he could give that. Little did he know he was the only one that could. The only one that knew her. The only one that could actually read her like a book. Anyone realize Nate only gave her the time of day after Chuck made her happy ?
I noticed the Nate thing too and it made me so upset like dude y I were all over Serena just yesterday and know all of a sudden “I can’t live without her” just shut the fuck up ok ok
Leighton and Ed were possibly the best actors on this show. Every scene together reads 100% true. Not a hint of cheesiness or anything. You can feel Blair’s pain when she says “thank you…” with tears in her eyes. And Chuck’s whole routine of saying “it’s just a game.” Like he’s trying to sound sincere but there’s still a hint of remorse/hollowness to his voice, like he wants to tell her the truth but truly cannot.
Sincerely I can’t be mad at chuck cause he wasn’t even happy with this decision, but he’s a little bit a selfish cuz he affects to her too ,but also we can’t forget that he truly love her 😭🥺❤️
I honestly hated Chuck and Blair as a couple (and still do). But once you've gone through some crazy mess like this with someone yourself, this scene right here hits *very* different. If anything, it just makes me despise the couple even more. That shit is toxic and unsustainable. It's nothing beautiful about it. At all.😒
