Marc, you asked for a take on the purple. I am with you, it is my favorite of the batch and seeing it in the videos RU-vid offers up on the side panel is what made me watch the video.

Grape soda! That's what the purple one is making me crave! The color way combinations are endless with this design, I hope to pick one up sometime.

This is a crazy good price! Opinion: I really value thinness of my watches. I have a Lorier GMT which is 10.7mm thick. I think it would be a great direction if LIW moved toward thinner case designs! Keep up the great work.

That full lume one looks just as amazing in the light as in the dark 👍

The fully lumed version is just the best looking. If it doesn't sell quickly, I might be drunk.

I have the original white Calabro on my wrist right now and love it! The only change I would suggest is making the bezel move in the other direction (or bidirectional) so it can mirror the clockwise movement of the hands. But I find the world time incredibly useful especially since I work with a number of people in the UK and India.

Just throw a ceramic or sapphire bezel on that thing and it will be breathtaking. Love the worldtimers as well, the ones with the world map, you should do something like that.

I like the fully lumed dial best because it makes the black-framed hands stand out so much. The black and the blue disl come in equally at second place for me. Great looking bezel!

I got a couple of the Sutcliffe-Hansen kits as Christmas gifts and overall they've been very nice. I devoured pretty much every single Watch-&-Learn back during the pandemic shutdown, and since then had thought a lot about trying my hand at some tinkering (I can't call it "repair" because I haven't actually repaired anything yet.) The S-H kits are great for this, and unfortunately for my discretionary funds, they've inspired me to spend even more money on the hobby. It's so much fun.

I have the Calabro with the green dial and I love it as well as the new colors. I have a problem with bezels though, I find them really hard to turn, even on the Calabro which I just bought in February. Maybe it's me--I never used to have a problem with my 15 year old Mako XL but even that's giving me fits now!

This is a great looking piece, seriously considering picking one up, but please, does ANYONE know what type of map is there on the wall, I've been looking for something like this, looks awesome for a wall piece.

Very nice GMT 😀. As an aside I guess Timezone cites are internationally specified- always wanted a GMT with my home city rather than the same Timezone & smaller city that’s in another state ( given its a city I particularly dislike😏)🤗

Marc, I love the purple. I'm just not a fan of "world timers" because I find the bezel cluttered and hard to read (poor old eyesight). I am a very happy owner of the Islander JFK "Stormy," which is a better GMT "caller" for my use (love the onion crown, btw). I'm waiting for a "true" GMT (miyota 9075) designed more like the JFK--maybe in the purple. The Port Jeff is great, just not my style and 150m vs 200m for the JFK. I live in Fairbanks, AK, but have family in Massapequa so I love the Long Islander brand. Great watches. Great design.

Really wish you would make the Colabro in 42mm. It just looks too small with all that's going on with that dial and bezel. Maybe it's because the 24 hour ring is inset so much, instead of being on the bezel insert.

With the red bezel, should have had a black dial. Would look more like tudor Yours kinda looks like the red citizen promaster but stained yellow instead of white hands

I'll be honest, the bracelets are the only thing keeping me away from Islander Watches. The lack of quick adjust on the clasp is a deal breaker.
