Telstra's Christmas campaign that tells a heartwarming story about connection, starring a lost reindeer and a little girl called Cassie. Music: Oh Christmas - Zefereli
I never comment. Ever. But this one. Whoever was responsible for putting this together, hold onto them, give them a pay rise, and celebrate their team, too. It’s exceptional. Well done.
Absolutely brilliant. It's not as if Telstra hasn't been an integral part of Australian history, and that phone booth brought back a lot of memories. But by gosh this ad was brilliant. A perfect example of good advertising.
Finally a real Christmas ad from Telstra! Love the changes you’ve made - keep up what you’ve been doing! I watch instead of forwarding or walking away during….. 👏👏👏👏🙌🥰
Just love this add. Brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it. Congratulations Telstra and all involved for this lovely, touching add.Very well done.
I have to say when I first saw this ad on TV, I thought it was going to be for the NRMA as they always do a very warming holiday ad. Was surprised when it changed to the phone box, very well done.
The house location is in Rosanna Melbourne, Our business did a makeover their back in April and still maintain the garden, just by chance the producer found this beautful 60's home in september Well done Guys looks amazing, its a one owner hone with many special christmas memories
Opening scene filmed outside the Swiss Mountain Hotel in Blampied, Victoria (about 10 or so kms outside Daylesford). The background town lights are CGI as the location is pretty rural.
An advertisement that stirs emotion. Takes one back to Telstra’s Making it Easy ads from the late 90’s, iconic now (watching some of those brings me to tears believe it or not) and this one does the same. Telstra’s advertising of late has been spot on, the Australia Is Why, the country football ad for its humour and now this one with emotion and heart. Keep it up Telstra, you may just win over some customers (former and current)!
Well done to the creatives and even the suits. In an industry much maligned it is a privilege to watch what the very best can do . From an old advertising bloke and repeat offender
I really dislike this ad as it upsets me so much I can't stand hearing the reindeer cry in sadness. I can't stand animals depicted as suffering in anyway. That movie Haichi which i never planned to watch, broke me.
I don't want to watch upsetting content on tv at least with a tv show you can turn over but an ad on every break not so much, brain injury stops me being able to regulate emotion so I can feel upset for no reason 10 times a day, i avoid upsetting content like the plague because who wants to add to that. @Albertfingernoodle420
