@@Pinkielover The block building exterior holds in the heat, it does kick on till about 2 am. Summer is just ramping up, we've months of heat coming. You do NOT have the insight you think you do.
Wow thats insane, i dont k ow how you are able to sleep, i always keep my ac at 77, keep your ac at 80 and up to save energy to save a 20 30 dollars montly is crazy.
I live here I almost had to go to the hospital for heat exhaustion. My A/C still barely works and they took the portals a/c unit (like the people in this video said it barely helped) without even bothering to look at my a/c after telling them it still wasn’t working.
Over 110 in Tempe and no AC? Very hard to function in those temps. It's distressing for young students and can be deadly for seniors as many can't adjust well to temp extremes. And this is still Spring! For those who don't know- it's like turning your oven on and putting a fan inside to blow out the air. AC in desert cities in the summer is as important as heating in northern cities in the winter.
That happens when you live in a very very old apto complex, that one has a central ac for all units, those ac units are more than 50 years old, move out asap.
2022 I use to be the maintenance worker/ resident over at thrive!! We have that place running great!!!. I quit for a new job. 2022 December the last owner of the property sold the place. 2023 last year my apartment building Ac was down for a whole month!
Seems like they are trying to fix the problem. Those old AC units and the tower look old. Just like the apartments. Sometimes there are no parts to fix the issue. Young people don't know the struggle anymore😅🤣 Crying for 85 degrees😅
AC is not mandatory.. or necessary I'm doing just fine going on seven years without it. Just go buy a fan. Your body gets used to it... but respect the heat always drink at least a gallon of water a day no matter what
