This advice is pretty solid from learning as much as I have. My beardie is getting so much bigger now that he has a bigger tank/aquarium. I even started my own bug farm which is pretty cool as well. This way I don’t have to keep spending so much money on bugs.
Not all dragons are the same with eating habits but the care is always the same. Depending on the size depends on how hot it should be the bigger ones like 100 degree warming lights and gotta have the uvb light to help the dragon digest its food plus the calcium and vitamins. This seems like a lot but after the first couple times it is routine and fast and easy.
Awesome video! Just a question though. If you are using a infrared thermometer gun to measure the temps, do you want to aim for 41°C on the surface of the basking area or is it the air around it you try aim for that temperature?
the spot your beardie will be basking on :) lot of confusion but that is the correct way, just make sure to keep measuring the temp throughout the day, because it will increase by depending on how far the bulb is
Thanks for the info. If my tank in general dont go bellow the 28C at night is it bad right now? I dont know if I have enough ventilation (pcv tank and 3month old dragon and still now basking spot, only uvb light)
How the fuck do you have a 3 month old with no basking spot? Why would you even bring a dragon home with no basking light!? This is a living being, not an ornament. It's like saying, oh I've got a 3 month old cat but still haven't got any food for it.
