Robert Strmiska used a bit of muscle on a last lap pass for the win against AJ Sanders in the first Stadium Stock race of the night on 5-6-23. Strmiska wins the race and Sanders shows his displeasure.
The 24 allows no room on the inside going into turn 3 when the 90 is clearly there, then tries cutting inside to hit the 90 in turn 4 and nearly wrecks himself. The 90 did absolutely nothing wrong here. A little bump and run. This was a good race
clearly you have never raced a car in your life dude. its not your position until your at the other guys door post lol the guy spun him to win. never tried the outside even once. shoulda been black flagged lol
@chevy358ci Lol. Weird, I guess I figured if someone's on your inside you might not want to turn down into them. But, you're right, I've never raced, so what do I know. Thanks for the racing tip Dale Earnhardt
@@comicdooder he’s right. you have to be alongside to have allowed room. it’s always up to the person passing to do it safely, it’s not up to the person defending to allow room unless they’re alongside, it’s ALWAYS up to the person behind to make the clean pass. that was clearly a dirty dive bomb attempt to get his car alongside, and take the win. it didn’t work for him, so instead he pushed the 24 car around the last turn. Extremely dirty driving from a sore loser. couldn’t make the clean pass so he had to take him out to win. Never can be a fan of guys that race like that. If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of this, you’d understand. it sucks to spend all the time to win a race just to get spun in the last corner because someone’s ego is too big.
A little perspective - these are short races, 20-50 laps usually - you better knock the guy out of the way of you want to pass. That doesn’t mean wreck them though. And also, there are plenty of BG videos with “normal” racing. The most popular ones are the wild, action packed ones and people who don’t attend think that’s the way it is every lap of every race.
@@douglasfoster2215 it does seem that way because to pass on this track you really have to push people out of the way. it’s a known thing here and it’s known throughout the drivers too. That doesn’t mean you send someone spinning last turn to take the win, that’s sore loser behavior, 90 is an idiot and won’t ever have fans, there’s no draft here and it’s a short race.
Riding 2nd all race to do that on the last lap is NOT racing. He’ll get his. There’s a reason he qualified 2nd and stayed 2nd… because he wasn’t as fast as the guy he had to run through to win. My mother coulda done that
@@Thirty-OughtSick thatd honestly be a better idea. no racing ever happens at bowman. people go to watch a fight, and a race breaks out every now and then. all i know is that if i qualified first, lead all race, and got turned on the final lap, i would absolutely be qualifying 2nd next time.
you clearly have never raced in your life. just because it’s a small track doesn’t mean you have to spin people and dive bomb to pass. you have to be aggressive yes but that was a very deliberate attempt to hit someone out of the way to take the lead, that’s not how you race, that’s sore loser behavior. just like other guy said, he’s second for a reason, he’s not faster, he wasn’t catching up to 24 in the last lap, he got beat even after a dive bomb so he had to hit him way harder than normal on the last turn. Thank god you are just a fan and won’t ever see a real car, that ideology is what killed so many good drivers.
The really stupid part is the Robert Strmissit actually thinks he won the race. Talk about as Bowman Gray move as you can get. This guy deserves the Trophy like Kamila need to be President. Jeeeeeesu .
@@everettgrover9459 it’s funny when people respond and have no idea who you are. Yes, I raced short track with a NASCAR license for nine years. Is there some thing else you want to tell me about the career that I pursued that you probably only watch on TV ?
One of the problems in recent decades concerning small, relatively flat tracks of 1/2 mile or less is that it is very difficult to pass. Only a car that is considerably faster than another car can make a pass. Slower classes provide the better races, strictly speaking.
I've been there, nothing see professional race car crashers. It's never a constant race. It's a dump ànd bump track. They make about one and half laps, and a yellow comes.
If the Cup car's raced here, MTJ & Mark Martin wouldn't stand a chance! Racing clean at Bowman-Grey is something in a fairytale book to these fool's 😂 Actually had a lite fan turnout here, I wonder why, cause it's usually packed.
He did exactly what he needed to do to win now I'm not saying that's entirely 100% right but I'm not driving either one of them cars now Emma this is just my opinion now both cars had two entirely different lines and the number 90 had the best
Pole starter may as well have dropped to 2nd then by your logic. Run behind the leader all race just to run him in the last lap👍 I would never expect any class from anyone at bowmangray, but I certainly expected consequences
Running 2nd all race to just end up doing a bump n run is the equivalent of running 2nd all race in f1 just to use DRS on the final straight. Shits talentless. Guy started 2nd because the guy ahead of him was quicker… so he runs him instead of being faster than him
hardy har har! BUT - what you don't realize is this a a favorite Saturday night hangout for area doctors, lawyers and business people. They also love good entertainment. And they blend in with the crowd in their everyday jeans and t-shirts.
I’ve never understood why this track is a big deal. Horrible track and horrible racing. It’s the same thing every race. Crash to pass then fight about it.
