A little sneak peak behind the scenes of Tempest Doll 7th full set original ball jointed doll - "Dreamscape". She is completely handmade and unique one of a kind art doll.
Everytime I create a doll, I have a theme in my head - it can be a feeling, a place, a color, a thing... Something that I feel the need to personify.
This time I thought of enchanted forest. A bit eerie but so beautiful in a way that makes You still walk in to see its peculiar wonders. And in the middle of it there's a wishing tree. Gigantic and majestic, with crooked branches decorated with lots of colorful notes. Those are the wishes of people who dared to walk in, just like You - but You are here just alone. You feel a slight puff of air, so You turn around... and You see Her. She looks You straight in the eyes. What is Your wish and what is the price You are willing to pay for it?
This doll comes with 2 heads, so You can switch from eerie fantasy creature to a more dreamy version. The rolled pieces of paper attached to the headdress decor are meant for You to write Your wishes on them. Remember to carefully specify everything, because it may come true ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) ☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ

i dont have the money for ball jointed dolls or custom things for the dolls that i own, but this inspires me so much. i havent felt such a strong urge to go and create something in so long and i thank you for giving me that feeling! i adore your art and thank you for giving me the push to create my own.

I'm a viewer watching in Korea. Your doll is very unique, special, and beautiful. I think it's a work of art. This doll especially made my heart flutter. But I'm still a student, and the price of the doll is more than ten times what I can spend. So I can't buy it. It can't be helped, but it's so sad. If you keep making dolls, I really want to make a lot of money and buy them in a few years. Until then, I will be satisfied with being able to watch it on RU-vid. (I use a translator, so the writing might be awkward)

Don't get intimidated, You really don't need a lot of stuff to start, especially if You are going to make just one doll for Yourself. You don't need any expensive equipment then. It takes a lot of time, but it's also a lot of fun. Just don't put pressure on Yourself and enjoy the journey. Good luck! ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)♡

i love the design of this doll so much!! i'm absolutely obsessed with this vaguely unsettling, purple theme. the colored paper slips in her branch-like headpiece remind me of the Japanese Tanabata festival, where slips of paper with wishes called tanzaku are tied to bamboo grass. all of the dolls of yours i've seen remind me a bit of spiders: spindly and unnerving, yet delicate. they're all fantastic and beautiful in their own little ways!

Thank You! ♡ Personally I do not understand why anyone would feel uncomfortable with "naked" doll to begin with (since this is not a human, not even close), but I guess some people do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So from now on I'm putting a warning at the beginning, but I'm not gonna censor a piece of plastic, this would be ridiculous to me. I can't even wrap my head around why is it considered "nudity" when it's an object, this is so strange and abstract to me lol And also... art should not be censored, ever. It must remain free. At first I came with a storm of lust at a sight of nudity, yet I remained for the craftsmanship and delecasy to the eye and mind that is before me. I adore the creativity , thought and care that is poured into something that only moves when commanded physically. I have been meaning to 3D print myself a doll and am wondering how do you do it. Or do you sculpt yours and make it into a mold?

I sculpted the doll by hand, then made silicone mold of every part, and then casted all parts in resin. That's how I do it. You can also make Your doll in 3D program, lots of doll artists choose this nowadays. But if You want to skip the creating part and You just want the doll, You can download one of the free doll models and print it Yourself. There are models for sale too (usually they have better quality). If You have more questions, please specify what You are looking for, because I could go on and on about the details 😆

Actually I had the same idea at some point! But the headpiece is combined with the head cap, so there's no way to put a wig underneath it. Plus I can only imagine the tangles that will occur there in shipping 😆 But as You said, that would look awesome!

Right now I don't have any blank dolls to sell, but if everything goes right I will have a few next year. As for the price I can't say for sure yet, but naturally it will cost way less than the full set.
