Lol people spreading false info as usual Megiddo - Revised Rimuru summons a powerful laser beam seemingly from his palm, but in actuality, it's from the thin spatial distortion in front of the palm connecting his location to the giant water lenses in the stratosphere focusing the sunlight.

the manga was worse :D he basicly shot some in the arms and legs and shit... so they would scream and terror was in the whole camp. that syoyo dude or whatever was horrible to... he hate that chick in front of geld. and geld was like we are monsters. but you are a true monster.

The novel and manga do an insane job at depicting his rage, the anime is more emotive

This is what i was thought too. It's a strong skill against same level opponent. And you can win against someone stronger if you can use it cleverly, like faking your defeats and suprise attack them. Unfortunately he dumb dumb😂😂😂 announcing about his skill to the whole battlefield

He's one of the nicest, friendliest, and most generous people you could ever meet, but may God have mercy on your soul if you ever push Rimuru past his breaking point, because Rimuru most certainly will not. @@SebitorLP to be fair, Clayman isn't that great either. He's great at manipulating weaker people. A good manipulator can manipulate those stronger than himself into thinking he has more power.

@@motafu1 Well I used to have a lot of trouble controlling my anger when I was younger, I didn't really cry much, but I got into a lot of fights when people would antagonize me. Generally speaking I'm not as emotional now, but when something big happens I do get emotional, like when I lost my dog, very sad time. Or when I watch sad anime, very sad time. But yeah, I don't see why you want to try and piss off the kind people, it's a damn coin flip, half the time they're too kind to get mad, the other half they will absolutely destroy you once you've pissed them off. Kinda like me in some ways, you don't make me mad, I'm very calm and usually just like to hang out and chill, you piss me off, I send you to the ER with several broken bones. (I know my reply seems a bit of a rant but recently I had some drama happen that's very on brand for this topic so I felt a bit chatty)

@@ginkage5863 legiiiiiit. It took a while to realize what you meant but I just caught up to v20 in ln and it was insane. The scene was even worse in the ln than it was in the manga, because he was actually torturing some them, like he would cut of their limbs and let them experience immense pain before killing them off. It was just wild

@@ginkage5863 yeah. I don't like how they try to tone things down in the anime. When people said the anime had some kind of happy theme to it, I didn't realize that was what they meant. Rimuru actually enjoyed torturing them, and I think he said he would like to even do worse.

@@nicklancial7103 It's actually no different in the Anime, just isn't explained at all. So, Megiddo is the first "Physics Magic" spell, a category created by Rimuru. Physics Magic is unique, as it relies on already present forces to function, only being enabled by a bit of pushing with magic. Megiddo in particular uses natural light to attack. The droplets we see are actually Water elementals created with Spirit Magic. They act as lenses for the light, focusing and directing it as an unrelenting laser. Due to the fact that the attack is physical, no amount of Magical Defense or negation will stop these lasers, which is why he can use it in the anti-magic area.
