I really feel like the monomer makes a huge difference. I normally only buy really cheap acrylic powder but I only use Kira sky monomer. Mainly because I'm allergic to brands that contain hema and most cheap monomer does contain hema but also the Kira sky monomer works like a dream with any powder I've used. With the cheaper acrylic powders, I have an electric coffee grinder I only use for acrylic that I bought at big lots for cheap. Wherever i get new powders i dump the powders in that and whiz them around for a few min before putting them back in the jar. It makes them a finer mill and mixes the pigment better.

Yea the only ones that dries fast on me were the neon colors and the ones from the second brand of acrylic I tried so I won’t be repurchasing those lol

I have seen someone else swatching on top of swatch nails with this Rikonka brand and it just didn’t set! Wouldn’t matter if they left it all day it was still soft. Clearly it matters which monomer we use but, from memory, she did try 2. So I absolutely value your opinions and will give this brand a try. Who knows, perhaps they got a lot of flack and changed the recipe. Thanks so much for all your hard work, I, for one, appreciate it ❤️🇦🇺

I agree!!! Everybody swatches on the back of the swatch sticks and you can't tell how the acrylic powders apply that way, or how the colors work or actually look when applied. I always swatch my acrylic powders on the top. I will do glitters on the back, only because it's textured and I don't wanna topcoat it.

Great video! I purchased a couple of those acrylics just on a whim a while back and they weren't great but they worked. Not something I would buy again because just like you showed the inconsistency in the different colors was too much for me. But it was fun to try and it was fun to watch you swatch all of these. At least now I know which ones are a hit or a miss.... thanks, girl!

It looks like the marbled ones would be good for practicing placement and filing! At leas t you only pay a couple dollars vs the 12$ for one jar! They are gorgeous colors!!!

Ive got this brand from shein and temu and i like the ones ive got. I will say they are hit and miss, but mostly hits. I had the same problems with the neons. I worked with small really wet beads and really fast and i could make them work. But the nudes, pinks, and pastels i really liked. I will say, like you said, they are very inconsistent. And you gotta figure out how to work with each color. I have nicer acrylic powders, but they arent bad. In my experience with this brand, the darker and brighter colors didnt work. The lighter colors did.

I was looking for an "MMA free" on the product description on the description of the powders on Temu but it says nothing about it. Have you soaked of any of these powders to see about MMA? That's the only thing holding me back from buying them 😩😩
