TEN great sewing patterns for kids and teens (BEGINNER FRIENDLY included) | Sew the trends 

Have you looked at the Peony Patterns for children they have some lovely patterns with a size range from I think mainly from 2/3 to 14

I'm only just beginning my motherhood journey so still have some time until I sew for these aged, but these patterns are so cute! Being tiny (small 4'10) I'm tempted to try some of them for myself 🤭

I have the Simplicity 9617. In fact, my 9 year old granddaughter wore the ruffled dress to church yesterday! I also have Butterick 3860. I have made the shift dress several times for the Dress a Girl Around the World. I leave off the facing and use bias binding on the arm holes and the neckline so that it has a tie enclosure. Good video! 🤗

I have 4 kids that I sew for. 3 great pattern companies that I mostly use are Littlelizardking, Ellieandmac, and Violette fields. They are all pdf pattern companies but I swear by them.

Love the cargo pants! Waves and wild is a great pattern company for kids, the free leggings pattern has been my go to for my boys. And the sew over it kids range Poppy and Jazz is fab for smaller humans!

Hi Sally, great vlog, you have chosen some gorgeous patterns. I am a mum of the male species, and unfortunately there is a distinct lack of nice boys sewing patterns.
