I have this guy with a lvl 100 Mordred with maxed skills, it works against everything. In fact, I did the mystic code quests with just that Mordred and a couple of lvl 13 Servants!
Lucky for me I have a friend support on CN server who's basically the equivalent of Rexlent or better. NP5 every single servant and mlb all dmg/event ces for me to use if I need to! All I need is to summon for the big supports and I can do anything I want!
I learned that the wider a net you cast, the more likely you'll get that acceptance. I started a JP account a couple months back and, despite feeling like friending whales would only end in failure cause "Why would they ever accept me?", alot still did. Now sure, 9/10 or more of whales didn't accept me. But I kept sending requests and eventually people wanted to help me out. Took me a couple weeks to build it up but I filled that friends list with tons of random people who were willing to accept me. Now I'm flourishing.
@@theanonymouschicken169 yup that's true. I friended a guy who has np3 gil and he carried my ass through camelot killing every enforcememt knights, tho I will use a friends cu alter if the enforcement knights are lancers
I just found out the best way to befriend whales is to do a bit of whaling yourself. Remember that NA has foresight EX+, so when you pick out that one SSR you just absolutely have to have for personal reasons, try to make it one whose release coincides with an event that has a shop. That way you'll get 4* and 5* event CEs, and if you really have to roll your ass off you might even be able to limit break one while still leaving you enough copies to fill out the rest of your party. Since whales don't really need their support slot to farm event currency, they'll be absolutely fine taking your random lowbie servant with the MLB event CE and shoving them in the last slot. Also, when are we getting the follow system? that should kinda make befriending whales unnecessary.
@@sammydray5919 one of the strongest farmers in the game because stella tears through the daily quests and himself, and is usually carrying either kaleidoscope or demonic/devilish bodhisattva for a craft essence.
@Litian Same but i have never seen a lottery event before and always used 3 star servants as enhancement fodder (if already np5). Was a damn useful vid to watch.
Personally, I make sure to accept every request I get from a “silver mash” account! Even if I have to remove someone that has been off for a few months. I remember what it was like being one of them so I will always give them help (but remove them if they never get further)
same, well i mean my servants arent THAT good but enough help for beginners. But just recently i went through my friends and found 3 lvl 20 mashu who were last online a year ago
I always send out request because holy shit my servants are not good AT ALL but I'll spam it if they have fujino and just use her even against bosses that require a team
End up with this because of finding for summer musashi when my account was only 1 month old so i end up low in mats and got no musashi :( thank god my first ssr saved my ass in farming
Advice: 1. If you love a servant, then love them. Especially if they're strong gameplay-wise, remember that you are playing FGO for fun. If you're worried that they aren't worth it, then level them at a slower rate behind your core team and see how they do. 2. Try not to stress out about getting that one servant. Most servants have multiple banners. If it's destroying you to save for that one servant that you neglect all servants along the way, then don't do it. 3. I'm going to argue that it is worth it to get the embers from the mana prism shop. Ember farming at low levels is miserable, so if you have the prisms, I'd take it. 4. Do all the events, especially the reruns. Materials are usually in high supply, from general stuff to embers to QP. Reruns usually improve drop rates and streamline the event to be fun to play, as well as many supports having event CEs to make your grind easier. I've always leveled the fastest during events. 5. Take it slow. You COULD break your spine getting through the singularities quickly, but you will inevitably face the consequences of an underleveled team in Camelot. Enjoy life. Smell the roses. FGO will be there when you come back. 6. Team comp matters. With decent leveling and even basic strategy, you can use underleveled servants to take on quests with far higher levels than you, which is especially relevant for later game content where no, you can't just use all level 90 servants because you do not have them. 7. Be in it for the long haul. FGO is a very long game. I've put in personally more than 500 hours and I am still not caught up on content because I play when I want. If you want an investment, it can be incredibly rewarding and fun, but it will take a while to get caught up. Relax; I promise you you'll have a good time.
One more tip: Don't skip the story... that's the main selling point of the game. Honestly your enjoyment will decrease a lot if you just skip the story every time.
Well shite... The no. 5 hit hard because I tried speedrunning the story mode and hit a roadblock in CAMELOT... Enemies have higher HP than usual and my team is underleveled...
@@Rinzler_IV-07 Was one of my mistakes, relied on TamaCat and under leveled Salter and Gorgon, Christmas rerun came in and I immediately grinded the shit out of it and now I'm in LB5
"Don't grind until you burn yourself out." Me spending 14 hours farming Ultimate Bahamut in Granblue to make an Atma Staff with the Strife Key in right away:
Well Granblue is a different game all together tho. Your character choice matters less there than your grid, and to have a good grid you grind and grind and grind and grind. Gbf is way more grind heavy than fgo.
@@keinkanal7382 pretty sure everyone knows that. But yea it's a hassle do grind since I have other things to do in real life than waste my time farming for my magna grid
Considering absolutely no one else is likely to have a grailed Geronimo, the novelty of having them on your friends list is actually kinda enticing compared to a yet another generic meta servant list (Waver/Merlin/Jalter/etc). Personally, I love to see friend requests from people who have grailed their waifu or other nonstandard servant.
@@Charon85Onozuka So long as they take care of leveling and skilling all their servants in support, I will happily embrace the unconventional grail, especially if it's 100/2K.
@Hakageryuu My regend is lv 90 and completely useless. Currently saving for skadi to make him viable. I only have arts/buster comps atm but couldnt stop myself from grailing him um to 90 xD.
I have to put one of my grailed Cus or Diarmuid with their Bond CE somewhere in there just to flex. I don't care if you're event farming you WILL see that I've hit bond 10 with Diarmuid and he's level 90 now!
I just put my favourite servants but like at the same time WHY ARE MOST OF THEM THE SAME CLASS Also the struggle to decide which one to put coz u feel like u would be betraying the other like i spent 20mins trying to decide between my grailed bedivere n my siegfried or nero
That was my starting thing kinda. My thing was do JUST one 10 roll on every banner and if you get something good if not keep it moving. It works as long as you don't want anyone specific.
Would've loved this video like a year ago Overall it's great and very informative. Didn't expect this from a man whose Twitch career is laughing at chat when you get a 5 star xd
This update was really needed with how things developed both around JP and how things are becoming on NA, really great update for the tips that even has some advice for players who have been around since the start or began a year ago! Also man... has it been a bit more than 2 years already? Damn, time flies by.... I remember when you told me to check out the video you just made as FGO NA was gonna come outand I was like "YEAH IT'S GOOD" 2 years later and now you show much you've come far in terms of narration, content creation and having a lot of footage, that and now the whole community that you have around and a lot of cool people one would never thought of crossing paths with after you started your whole venture creating stuff for FGO But well, sentimental stuff aside, NUMBER 5 SMASH MASH IS NOW CANON.
Remember that odds will almost never get the average, I got new acc with 2 SSRs still in Septem and main one with no 5 stars despite using more quartz.
Meanwhile i got 5*illya and 5*librarian big titty wifu caster valentine lady with summon tickets, today is my 13th login day. And my sibling got medb with a summon ticket .
Alex Mason You can only really farm them via either Campaigns/events. You can’t exactly farm them in a place. Or you can use SQ, but that’s kinda stoopid.
K O G I watched the video. I want to to know what he means by saying that you are screwed if you want one and only servant because of rates unless it’s Scathach
@@heytisumi He was saying as a newer player (and F2P players in general) should pick a few servants to save for and then only save to spend on them. You shouldn't become baited by random banners i.e. Scathach unless you want Scathach for Scathach. There's lots of people who cave and spend whatever they have whenever they're baited and get nothing and it's only hell for them when they could've saved a couple hundred for a servant down the line. Sure sometimes people get lucky and the bait pays off but it's not something you can justifiably rely on.
Roman Australis but why Scathach a random bait, she is top tier. And he says that if she is your waifu you won the lottery. But seems to me she is as hard to get as any other SSR
From my experience, lots of people I've seen and I love seeing grailed low stars in support lists as: 1) It shows love and dedication to a servant of choice, gives their master character And 2) gives a low rarity a high stat spread that normally wouldn't be accessible to them without someone to dedicate those resources to them, which is why grailed Cu/REGEND/Ushi/Arash/Chen get so many picks. I think it's more important to fill out your support list, period. A level 20 Mash isn't gonna cut it, it says you're not invested enough in the game for starts and you may not even be progressing/leveling your servants. Even if they're low rarity servants, as a beginner you'll be cut slack and it's more important to show that you're invested and later down the line you'll fill it with better servants. Plus even as a beginner, your support should be filled with your "Focus", your "Core" servants. The ones people will know your raising and will see some skill leveling in the near future. Someone with a filled support, even if lackluster, wants to play and deserves help more than someone who can't even be bothered to fill it and logs in every several days when they're only a Lv.10 master.
As someone who got into the game with this video, it was quite an interesting experience deciding who deserves grails. Started the game to get Saber Lily, as a personal favourite, find out she's actually pretty bad. Nowdays, when I grail, I look at the servant stats, what they bring to the table NP/Skill wise, and decide "Are they worth it?" But I will always cherish my lvl 100 Lily! it was extremely motivating and fun to get your ideal servant "Maxed", which kept me logging in, and playing.
As a 2+ year NA veteran that started JP about a month ago, this video is surprisingly relevant. Poor resource management and lack of long-term planning still plague me both in game and in life, but things like rolling story early on and starting with a smaller, more focused core lineup helped bolster my account relatively quickly. That said, having to re-experience f2p noob life is a painful but refreshing learning process.
1. Save quarts and roll waifus and husbandos. 2. Mana prisms are important. 3. Get the Mystic codes. 4. Do daily quest. It's a must. 5. Look after good CEs and u MUST make CE bombs. 6. Do events. Especially ones with welfare servants and Lottery. 7. To do events or everyday farming easy u should prioritize leveling some servants than others. Don't waste ur embers on Saber lily at the start of the game 8. Friend every guy u see in the Support list who looks like a whale 9. Make sure u attend everyday. Or at the least days where it gives u free quarts and ST. Every 50 days of unstop attendance gives u 30 quarts 10. Save FP gacha for events 11. Update support list when u get some dope shit 12. Unless u are a Touhou save them fuckin apples
I can definitely say: Thanks a lot for the guide. I just started a few weeks ago because a friend told me that there will be a ticket soon to get a guaranteed four star. The plan was to just continue the story, pull through the optional quests, gather saint quartz for rolls, etc, until I could pull Atalanta. Welll... I...found myself in the situation of the Accel Order event having begun right after Fuyuki and now I have the King of Conquerors behind me who answered through a lucky ticket pull. I am still in the learning process, especially when it comes to farming, so that guide is immensely appreciated.
That motivation tip is really helpful even for someone like me who has played since NA's launch. This game has zapped my enthusiasm and motivation for it for a few days now. It's not that it's not fun anymore, but that grind and RNG does kill me on the inside at times.
this was very useful (commented by a 2 year player who screwed up too many times by not saving for a husbando that only got revealed last year and didn't start taking the saving thing too seriously at all)
As a new player who started playing last month, I find the video helpful and I was able to befriend 5 whale players. They also adviced to me save my quartz as much as possible 🙂
I started playing the FGO around the time Septem came out, so pretty damn early on, and I actually quit the game during the Da Vinci lottery event because I completely burned out and the game simply took up too much of my time. However, since I had so many nice servants (I had a fully functional arts team with Tama and Vlad) I felt like abandoning my account was a waste, and I came back to the game, ironically just before the Rashomon Rerun (which was the first event I missed out on because of the hiatus) and I have been having a lot of fun with it... once I went ahead and got a screen recorder to macro and automate the most repetitive parts of grinding, because dammit, this game is just too freaking tedious at times. So yeah, I feel you.
You know, this video is quite an improvement to the old one, in terms of updated tips and your speaking. I went back and watched the old video again and despite my initial problems of sometimes not being able to understand what you were saying, I had no problem understanding it now given I know a lot about FGO, after two years of NA. Which makes me feel like an ass for leaving that constructively worded comment, even though I know full well that I haven't said anything bad and that I encouraged you to continue with the videos. I'm glad that you continued and it shows that you've improved a lot. I'm never missing your Servant Guides or rolling videos/streams, not even when it's not FGO related. In fact, I'm watching your stream Halloween 2 and Gilfest Finale right now :D
Buying out lotteries was so helpful as a player that strted a month ago. Da Vinci rerun gave me so much stuff that i was able to fully level and ascend a few of my cores. I even grailed Cu and Robin to lvl80 with the help of the event
I do agree that you shouldnt burn yourself out on the game. I'd like to consider myself a decently good player account wise but have lost interest of the game over the last year and half. Pace yourself to where you enjoy the game but dont feel pressured to always be on the grind.
Same. This video seems like it's actually for seasoned players who want to start a new account. It mostly sounds like another language for actual beginners.
I would add the following: -Roll the free FP roll every day (this will also maintain login streaks for SQ/tickets). -Limited time Mystic Codes are a huge priority (in some cases, more important than limited servants). -Try to empty the AP bar whenever you can. Natural AP unspent is AP that could’ve improved the account. -Be unapologetic about save scumming and burning command seals if it can salvage a mission. -Waver/Tamamo/Merlin/Skadi will go a long way
Honestly and truthfully those 1.to 3 star servants will carry u through the game. It never wrong pour resources into that Cu (will solo lot of fights and excellent last man) Ushi for boss killer, goddess gurl eurayle for camelot (who destroys that chapter) Hans is very good two star as a budget merlin and support early on. In beginning it pays to reroll if you hit Heracles, Emiya. Congrats to a easier life. Hell Pour all your resources to best Man Heracles I solo Solomon chapter with him and Mash. Battle for camlann is underrated CE in beginning for Tanks until u get better keep them for Leonidas and St.george so when they die your Heracles will smile. Also befriend a higher player or whale 1 will accept you.
well, as a 1.300 days in JP server, I learned nothing from this video, but man...It's so on point with alot of things I had to realize by myself, or with the growing community we had to push forward. Great video, really. Very well thought for new players, indeed.
I 100% agree with rolling on the Story Banner when you first start out, I spend my first 2 10 Pulls on the Starter Banner and got a 5*, sure the Gacha might not be the most RNG favored for everyone but it helps a lot overall
What I’d recommend for general gameplay for new players (farming XP, gems, story etc.) I’d say start out by working on 2 berserkers, I usually like having 2 gold servants per class levels, one AOE for farming and one ST for bosses. I’d say to level berserkers first so you can farm XP regardless of the day rotation and level your servants.
Herc best ST and either Chacha or Spartacus/Kiyohime for best AoE berserker! I would personally go for spartacus since his 2nd skill has np gain for more spam but he needs to be grailed for more damage.
The fact you need to farm exp from dailies eluded me for first month UNTIL the 1/2 AP daily week. I kept using mostly reward, shop and event universal gold embers for everyone and ran out of those fast.
You know one hilarious thing about the story banner? I was just randomly rolling it for the lols and I pulled a freaking Normal Artoria. Yes, from the story summon. I don’t remember where in the story I was, but it was before America and maybe London.
Another tip I want to add is to level up Euryale, she is lifesaver especially in Camelot. I actually prefers using her over Orion since that charmlock and np drain is too good for hard contents such as camelot's gawain and heracles.
Euryale seducing Gawain, Ushi making pillar kebab, George last boi standing and David "survive one Mordred NP while support Gil charges Ea" are only reasons I finished part 1 in like a month. Mistake was not getting Hans and Asterios maxed for tough boss fights.
I followed your tip, spending 30 quartz for a yolo Story summon and I got Mordred!! I've started from less than a week and I already have her, Merlin, Cleopatra, Nitocris, Arturia Alter Lancer, and some more 4* lmao
Dude I’m envious but not because of your quantity of servants I got some good stars but all I get are little girls, jack, nursery, ibaraki I just don’t feel very great using little girls to fight giant homunculus
Believe me... I'm new yet feel old when I heard people yelling at me when I got Eresh and Squid girl within one month...i mean Im rolling for my Anna but I got Eresh :\
Now that my support looks a bit more bearable, many silver mash starts to invite me. 1 one of them rolled for okita and the other got Ivan. These 2 guys sure have EX luck
I was about to do the same with Jekyll... Ehhhh, he's my favorite boi so I think he'll pass for this one. Unless that'll just mess me over I'll have to come back to the drawing board.
The Girl With No Chill Do it if he's your best boi. If you need an actually good ST assassin or berserker early-game, just grab a friend Herc or Shiki. Koutarou can wait until Jeykll's levelled
Sometimes it's good to come back as a seasoned player and refresh on the basics, lol. More importantly, "don't get caught in the material grind" and "Don't burn out for some silly goal, gauge your enthusiasm and pull away if you're feeling boredom or burning out creeping in" are the best advices that I can say apply forever. Don't worry about every quest, don't worry about clearing the dailies every day, and don't worry if you didn't pull that servant you REALLY, REALLY wanted, because there is always another chance, and in the event that there really isn't another chance every again, still know that you can build new teams, and eventually the new servants that come in will be able to help you fill the gaps that your waifu or fav servant that you failed to pull was supposed to fill. Good luck!
Man I remember your original vid, one the first FGO related vids I watched when NA launched. I enjoyed it a lot and enjoyed this one as well. Also great to see how your vids have come along since then. Glad you kept the Smash Mash, but I wish you’d kept the Black Tri-Stars joke in there as well. Ah well, but as always awesome work!
Whelp this is amazing for me, I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary for FGO so this is a God send. Wish I knew this back when I first started playing but, better late than never.
This is the kind of videos that I should've watched a year ago, when I was naïve. Not now, when I have a roster full of powerhouses but with no candies, cookies or QP.
I know it's a bit of a grey area, but I would also recommend using a screen recoder/replayer, especially when easy-griding certain Free Quest nodes or during lottery events. Maybe it's not an advice for the greenest new players, as they doing this requires a strong roster and a solid grasp on game mechanics, but when it comes to preventing burnout, being able to set up a macro and letting the game play by itself makes all the difference when you have to play the same battle five hundred times.
I'm F2P and I pulled Cu Alter during the Valentine banner last year, when I just restarted the game fresh, since I hadn't wanted to try and get my original account back. Took only a few rolls, too, so I was happy. What I found funny was I had been rolling in an attempt to get Heracles early on, since I had decided to start with Carmilla as the free servant in memory of my first account. Cu is my most used Servant.
Triple Berserker lineups lose momentum around London? Heh, I was using 3 Berserkers until Babylonia! (And yes I beat Gawain with 3 Berserkers, and I was using the story support as well.)
Good point on that motivation being a resource line. I made that mistake (among many others) and stopped playing for a while, missing out on the last chances to get Nobunaga and Rider Kintoki, as well as B.B.'s event. B.B. will come back eventually, but Kintoki... kinda regretting passing on that. If RNGesus hadn't been nice to me and given me some nice 5 stars, as a F2P player (minus lucky bags which I did 2 of and have given up on since both times I didn't get something I actually wanted) I probably would've dropped the game given how poorly I optimized my account.
Personal tip of mine. Don't feel ashamed for asking for help. I played the game on my own without even asking any help out of fear no one will respect and laugh at me. I ended up doing stuff I wasn't probably supposed to do. That is until I decided to join a community and thankfully, they were very nice. Now that I've been playing for a year, I want to let others know that no, no one will laugh at you for being a newbie. If they do, well, they're probably toxic. And to new players, welcome to the world of Salt known as Fate Grand Order.
Do you have any links where I can ask for help?Like discord server or something? And I am having problems with this event.Cuz I don't have any space for the exp cards now. What should I do?
As a long time player, I accept newbies on my friend list all the time. However you need to log in everyday if you want to keep it that way. Also keep your support list up-to-date with whatever is going on at the time. If you have event CEs, put them on the appropriate class character so people will actually have a reason to use them. If you have K-scope, put them on your Berserker or Rider. Unless it's Heracles with Bond 10 CE. If you have a star-drop boosting CE, put 'em on your Assassin and so on... Basically just "read the room" and keep your list up-to-date with the current meta and you'll be swimming in Friend Points.
Yeah, it really pays off early on to focus on maxing out one servant at a time. If you start spreading your attention out over multiple servants you're liable to end up like I did and find yourself without the resources to get *anyone* up to snuff. It's a hole I've only recently started to climb out of, mostly due to Camelot demanding I have a shortlist of fully ascended servants with decently leveled skills to avoid having to command seal everything.
Like you, I made a lot of mistakes on my first account. Then my second account is a lot better because I learned a lot on my first account. Nicely said on the story gacha, new players should roll it a lot. My first account have a lot 4 stars and 5 stars due to rolling mostly on rate ups but most of them are stuck on 50 to 60 due needing a lot rare materials. Then my second account, I tried the story gacha, the servants are easy to level up as thier materials are low rarity. Now even though fewer, my second account has a dedicated AOE and single target NP servant each (Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Caster and Assassin) class then Berserkers can be swapped to a team ( a mix of 1 to 4 stars). Then when I have a good team against each class I save a lot of saint quartz for what 5 star servant I want but still a gacha. I didn't have Merlin but got spooked but Caster Tama and Caster Gil twice so not qualms.
Personal tip: If you mess up a command card sequence or forget to use a skill, manually close the game before your turn ends. It will reset your turn and allow you to redo your skill and command card casts.
Definitely wished I had something like this when jp released. Ended up with a bunch of servants at level 50 that I only just now started to slowly level.
New players, here are some suggestions for you: 1. Reroll for a good 4 star gold servant (Servants like Heracles and Emiya are on top of the list) 2. If you're a f2p, I suggest you save up your Saint Quarts until there's an event banner with a really good servant on it 3. Finish Fuyuki ASAP, don't sleep on it. Veterans can easily finish it in under an hour with just support servants. 4. When you're choosing supports, find the servants with max-leveled up characters (Skills 10/10/10, Servant level 80-100 maybe even grailed, and etc) 5. If you're struggling to level up your servants, just look up a chaldea gate guide to manage your grinding schedule 6. If you don't level up your Mashu I shall come to your Housu 7. If you're worried on who to max out first, try looking for a servant tier list (Usually they're divided into 5 stars, 4 stars, and budget tier lists (1-3 stars combined)) 8. There's an option to instantly max ascension a servant in the menu (special ascension), only use it for a 5 star servant. Don't use it for anything else. 9. Welcome to gacha hell, you'll eventually have your own playstyle after a month or two. Have a nice day/evening.
Omg, I've been playing fgo for a little over a month and I actually understood most of what was said in this video. Like CE, prims, 4 stars. I also follow rule 2. I got my vanilla saber (altria) in a lucky gacha, my whole reason for playing fgo, I guess that makes her my waifu. And have mostly focused on her. Then I learned she is tier 5 on fgo gamepress website and realized how limited she is. I love my tier 5 saber waifu, stonks!
Yeah I honestly didn't get his point there. 3* and above attackers are good it's when you want to use someone like Charlotte you're kinda nerfing yourself intentionally.
I don't know if the vid you are using is of your account, or one of yours or of someone else, but I will fucking respect you for having Ushiwakamaru's spirit portrait, let's shake hands, fellow Ushiwaka worshippers!
Hey don't diss saber lily, she will hit harder than any np1 ssr aoe saber (and hits harder than salter) since she gets strengthening + auto np5. Other than that, nice video. I lost a bit of faith when I saw the various "recommended" SR ticket choices that the other channels have put out, so it's nice to see some non-misleading advice.
@@justsomeguywithlasereyes9920 There aren't many videos out there so I think I've watched most of them, so I'm going to say all of them (with the exception of Fino's) are garbage. As for the most common misleading points that they assert: 1) Recommending Herc. This is one that the FGO's help discord works tirelessly to subvert. In short, he is garbo for new players and irrelevant for veterans, and earns himself the spot of the no1 trap servant in the game right above Astolfo. 2) Recommending Avengers. There is only one useful avenger in the game (and he's an ssr so...), and otherwise, avengers are basically just a shitty zerk class. There are maybe two fights in the entire game you might consider using an avenger, and in both cases, your friend already has a buttered up np5 10/10/10 superwaifu jalter. 3) Saying salter/lalter are good for farming. Well, they hit aoe very hard, but both welfares available for their classes (lily and lily alter) make them irrelevant in a farming capacity by doing more damage from auto np5. Lily alter also has the benefit of self charge. 4) Not putting top tier farmers at the top of the list. Any recommendation that does not include nitocris at the top and fails to mention that she is the only sr servant in the game that an ssr cannot replace in a farming capacity (just a mention of how important she is) is misleading new players. I like that Fino includes Astolfo and zerkerlot near the top of his. 5) Recommending li. Why? Justification seems to lean on "because he is limited" but that's horrible reasoning.
@@yuuschzhie8822 I love how I agree almost with everything you said because I watched all those vids and cringed at every pick. I especially love the Nitocris part, as a lvl131 myself I picked her and holy crap what I've been missing, she's definitely a mainstay in my farming teams. That said I disagree with #1, Herc has never been useless to me and I've used HIM specifically for Goetia, Megalos, Farming (with Penth... It's not as bad as you might think) and CQs (Arash and his own) so saying he's "Bad" or "Garbo" is just straight no. And to recap the one that recommended Herc was Fino himself.
@@yuuschzhie8822 Interesting points. Few questions: 1) Is he as bad? He has Reverse S growth curve so he will be better early and worse in middle of his lvls. He can be ascended before even finishing Fuyuki and ascended for 2nd time after Salem (if new players haven't figured out Class dailies for Octoplets Crystals) = Evasion. Additionally he can start gathering bond points since day 1 by being at least in the back row. He can act as last line of defence especially once he gets his bond CE. His skills won't be most likely enchanced past lvl 4. Getting Hearts and Dragon Scales can be tricky depending on timing of events. He is single target Berserker and for few first months you can be starved for proper single target NP for each class. He can also help a little in power leveling your account after start in tandem with Support Herc. I didn't know about rerolling and didn't start with Herc, but currently it doesn't seem for me that he is the worst thing ever. As I was using Lu Bu as my first Berk I can see some merits to him. 3) Giving that we didn't had Saber Wars rerun yet, the only AoE Saber available for new players will be Fergus and Sumanai from starting rerolls. + Even at NP5 Lily deals only 2000 dmg more to neutral compared to NP1 Salter while being considerably worse in face carding. 5) As owner of Li Shuwen I will justify - he is one of the hardest hitting 1turn burst crit lancers in the game. Only 4 SSR hit harder (and 2 other lancers while hitting their trait dmg). Quite self sufficient when it comes to np gain and crit stars. Pairs nicely with Mozart who anyone interested in filling this role will have at this point and taking support Tamamo somewhat fixes his cooldown issues. He is easily overlooked but can suprise with raw numbers. Not the most important pick I would say but will become more rare as time goes on. The rest I completely agree.
Not gonna lie. I started 10 days ago and I didn't follow tip 2 but that instead turned out to be better for me. Using the first 30 quartz that i got from completing fuyuki, I rolled a 10 roll gacha from the Kiara rate up banner and got both passionlip and Kiara from it. Then using the summon tickets from both the survey as well as the KNK event, I rolled the same banner and got emiya alter. Needless to say, i have been saving up the rest of my tickets and quartz.
i had a friend with arjuna alter with kaleidoscope. i sweeped the stories until camelot. at that point i realized that this game actually needs a proper team composition.
What's the use in Mozart? Buffing art crit teams? I leveled him and Lu Bu and regretted cause Hans and Asterios would be insanely more useful cutting damage early on.
I sadly didn't pick a core group at the beginning. After all these years I still don't have the servant I really want. But I did invest heavily into Shuten and had my brother's account to help with supports (LVL 100 Herc among other servants.) I did also invest heavily into a Skadi because I heard she was good for supports, and of all people, Angra Manju, partially as a joke and partially because I heard he could one shot the final boss with his NP (Fun fact: he can't. His NP sucks in all scenarios.) So I have a core team, sort of. But if I get that one servant, I am investing all time and resources to them.
Legit just got into the game 3 days ago and before getting into it I watched a bunch of vids of fgo and I fell in love with Abigail straight away. Once I got into it on en it turned out she was rate up so now I’m currently scattering to grind quarts for her rate up 😢
I have followed this more or less feom the start. Had some friends that knew ehat was going down when I joined durring the first Boys banner. Got Tesla and hes been my front man ever since. Got SUPER lucky and grabbed Cu Alter shortly after. They have carried me so hard. Good advice.
