Decent enough to be usable but popular enough to be good, 9/10, looses on point for being an older character

I find myself preferring Artoria since if I need pierce Invul I can slap a CE on her and call it a day, then it's just a matter of blasting the boss into oblivion, but that's my preference. I do think it's interchangeable in a way that I flip flopped on Artoria or Ibuki being #1 for a bit. I just happened to make the video when I was settled on Artoria, if I made this video in 6 months to a year later Ibuki might be #1, buff withstanding lol

Yeah, Artoria Classic's lack of hits on her NP is a pretty big weakness in my opinion. She could be No.2 easily, but I think Ibuki is just more useful, especially if both are only NP1.

Yeah that's why I mention "hey, the gameplay is a little worse than what they should be" for servants that aren't fully done cause man I'm sitting on like 1 or 2 lores rn. But as a principal I do watch other people's gameplay to get a more normal feel for the character if I don't have them done.

Nothing wrong with that but let’s be honest they all can farm. If I’m investing into a unit it’s gonna be the one with the most bang for your buck and for that i have to go with ibuki for the utility

@@belleboni2016 that’s fair but also everyone can loop and put out good numbers so i feel like the extra damage doesn’t always matter as much as the utility that you can get from a double pierce combo. In todays meta full of box defensive buffs i feel like that kinda utility is pretty irreplaceable. Artoria would need mystic code or a different CE or a new support to make up for the lack of utility in any challenge scenario or boss fight

Uhhhhh my Artoria has 50% on her first turn. Ever hear about this little thing called a 2nd append?

@@skycladobserver9246 which is precisely his point. With a starting 30% event CE and 2nd append maxed, you START at 50%, so Artoria can't reach 100% alone. She can (and does) with any 50% charge CE, but it HAS to be at least 50, while most event CEs start at 30. Mind you, i love Artoria, but he's right anyway.

@@skycladobserver9246 Yeah, my point was, Artoria might be better in a lot of cases in which you have the option of using a 50%+ CE, but since event CEs only start you with 30%, in those situations a 50% CE has a distinct advantage. 50+20+30 = 100%, 30+20+30 = 80%, no NP without additional support. There are also more edge-case scenarios in which you might want to start with a 0% charge CE (like Black Grail), and so she could only natively get to 50%, while a 50% charger could get herself to 70%, which allows a much wider variety of options to battery that to 100% and get rolling.

You do realize that Oberon has 20% battery? It hurts turn 1 damage slightly, but you can use a 30% CE? In fact Artoria can use a 0% CE in some cases (though will still need some CE help)

@@adrastos8401 I'm not sure how having Oberon frontline on the first turn works on a three turn comp. I've only used him on turn three. I know that there are ways to work around needing more NP charge, but it does make things more complicated, and a 50% charge is more straightforward.

Ibuki for any challenge or boss scenario. The second that they gave a defense, evade or an invul, I consider ibuki to be the better option

Raikou isn't even close.(by NP2 she loses all 3 waves even hitting one trait, needing both of them to win, and even with both she still loses on 1 of the 3 waves of farming). Her niches might be fairly broad. But when you need to hit both of them to still not even definitively win all 3 waves in farming, you aren't in the running for best.

I don't know man, taking a look at the kit Caenis is doing everything Lalter does, but better, they both have 20% battery, Caenis crit way harder, has much better survival and better gain to access the NP

I feel Caenis' NP DMG is lower than Alter but Caenis' cards and crit feels way better/stronger

Well Barghest is more of a solo unit than farmer. She basically does everything that those 5 can't.

If I felt that I could get every servant done in like 2-3 mins I could probably sneak them in there but there are just some placements that I feel need way more of an explanation than that.

What numbers would you say is her range? For instance I’d say Ibuki’s buster crits are consistently in the 200k damage range per crit

@@Therealkingk909 Ibuki can peak notably higher in 1 turn crits than Altera. But her attack buff is hit based while all of Altera's last a full 3 turns. If you expend 1 of those attack ups on an NP, it doesn't help crits. If you do a brave chain, it doesn't even affect the extra card. Especially if you are stacking with Koyan Light, this makes Ibuki a bit awkward in crits comparatively. as you tend to not be able to stack the attack up.

@@ZTL that would be good, the healing and debuff resistance just seemed lore accurate because of Avalon.

She is the most consistent over the largest amount of nodes. Her Dragon Core skill makes crit based farming extremely consistent in situations where no other Saber would be consistent, without something like Summer BB and plug suit. Plus with a double Tamamo system she is able to use Dragon Core back to back so she gets 2 turns of reliable crits.

@imatiu crit based farming? With all due respect, but that sounds like the dumbest thing you could do for farming. Even if you get the hand that you want, most nodes require an aoe servant for one wave. And for cqs, she does nothing other than give stars. At least her alter has invul pierce. Regarding her skill 2, yeah it's nice that it has a 5 turn cooldown, but the problem is that the buster buff lasts for one turn only. That's the reason why her damage is so lackluster. The only buff that stacks is her basic charisma. The card change is a gimmick at best. It doesn't do anything for farming, and she can miss every single hit in cqs unless she has a ce. Let's face it, Artoria is flexible in farming only, but she doesn't do enough damage for the title best buster Saber. Especially when her alter is around. I personally think that Ibuki brings more to the table, since she has things going for her such as invul pierce, stars and buster Def down.

@@M0nk3yK1ng1 most of the hardest nodes to farm are 3-1-1 or 3-2-1 or 3-1-3, with the single unit in the second wave having almost the same HP value than the one in the last wave. The current Dogs event has a 3-1-1 Caster/Berzerker mixed node for farming all currencies and it's a pain to farm. For nodes like those, but lancer, Artoria is great because she can get rid of the first wave with 1 NP and then use 1 or 2 cards plus the NP to deal with anything below 150k health, and that is without taking into account using plug suit to increase the damage. So yes for farming Artoria is the best Saber, for challenge quests probably not, although she is still very good for those due to her refund on her NP, her very low cooldowns and the easy access to burst damage with a Buster Brave chain.

@@imatiu or you could use Habetrot or any aoe rider and a st (if refund is an issue) for the 90+ of the doggo event. And Artoria definitely is NOT the best in farming. She is the most flexible, but based on damage over three turns, Mordred and her alter beat her.

"Dunks in terms of damage" >Artoria np1 with all self buffs: 38k >Ibuki np1 with all self buffs: 28k >Ibuki with buffs and powermod: 42k Even with powermod (not always guarenteed) ibuki is only 4k ahead. Doss dragon lady have better defense and utility? Yes. Damage? Fuck no

It’s not even close. Anyone who actually uses Ibuki knows. Her carding is million times better let alone the Ignore invincibility tied to an NP. Her crits are just nasty. 3 buster cards with that atk stat makes a big difference. Sit down Artoria fan boys. I have both at NP3 lvl 100 and there’s rarely times when I use the mascot 🤷
