Lately they've both been using Phosphorbronze EXP16's. It's a coated 12 gauge string. And if you're curious, Kones uses D'addario XL11's.

Having a little trouble with the 2nd set of hammer ons. Also when you hit the Amaj and go into the walk downs, I can play it but I don't seem to time it right. Thanks a lot for these videos and there used to be one with the whole song on it. Better to learn from you guys than someone else. Also having a real hard time singing/talking and playing at the same time. Thanks Guys!

We're very sorry about that. Heat from studio lights knocked the guitars slightly out of tune, and we didn't catch it. The guitar is in tune with itself, but is a little flatter than A440 standard pitch. Just tune to KG's guitar for the nest results. It's the first episode...What do you expect?!! hehe.

Try tuning by ear to KG's guitar. He may be in tune with himself, but not totally in tune with a tuner. That's something we'll be more cautious of for the next episodes.

Down, down, up, down, down, up ,down, down, pattern is generally how i strum it don't know if that will help you or if its completly correct but it makes sense to me sorry if not lol

@Guitarings It's in standard tuning but when i play along its sound very different...maybe because of the preamp setting in kg's guitar or maybe his guitar is so much better than mine that makes my sound like shit;p but i've played this on my friend gibson dove and its sound 'out of tunig' aswell so i dont know.. ;]

Is KG's guitar tuned down a half step maybe? If I try to play along my guitar sounds sharp, but I've checked the pitches w/ a tuner and all my strings are in tune.
